What do you like best about the product?
I like that the software is pretty easy to figure out. Easy to navigate. No frills. Just a great organizational and task management tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the software had a better integration of calendars. If it had that, it would be the all in one package for what I do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helped our team become more organized and streamline our communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great organizational tool. If you're looking to streamline tasks and all your organizational items, this is a great tool.

The best Project Management

What do you like best about the product?
The organization of projects is really easy to read. It literally has everything. Descriptions, start dates, project owners, followers, task dependencies, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like how archiving old projects does not really archive. It keeps the them assigned until you manually remove the assignee.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us manage internal projects and more. We really like it for managing client relationships, notes, etc.

    Non-Profit Organization Management

Efficient

What do you like best about the product?
I like the old version best, but it's an easy-to-use list format that is shareable with a team. Good for a running to do list and to populate a calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a lot of time for initial upload. Not fully synced in with outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration - overall, it's a good starter, but it's hard to get a team to want to use the same (or any) platform.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I found it to be an easier format for personal tracking and sharing with others. But mainly only for smaller teams.

Easy, intuitive and good for small teams

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to have oversight of both my tasks and those of my team members is very important. It's easy to set deadlines and stay on track. It has also seemed to have adopted certain elements from trello and other productivity tools which have helped create a more complete product.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are better tools for more graphic-intensive projects. All users on the same domain are automatically included in the same account. This is ok for smaller teams, but for larger more disparate teams this seems like it could create some organization issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a distributed team so it is important that the entire team is able to keep track of what the others are working on. It promotes accountability and allows us to adapt as needed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We did trials of a few different options, and our trial with Asana helped cement our decision. If your team is small enough it can stay free and if you're looking for a way to manage your projects, no reason not to try it.

Thanks for making my life easier

What do you like best about the product?
For a while now I've had trouble keeping website design customers up to date with the progress of their website project and what I will need from them down the line. With Asana they can see the tasks that are currently completed and what will be done next. It gives them a sense of honesty and appreciation for each task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have an issue, but some of my customers have complained that navigating between tasks and sub-tasks is confusing to figure out at first. I'm not sure a way around this other than more material on using the app for non-technological users. Do you have something like that available?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This shortens the project timeline I find as clients are more ready to respond with the use of Asana.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it!

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the hypertext features: I use mentions, cross task references and bulleted lists all the time!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the text input allowed mark up formatting (code, pre tags, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Task / time management

Asana is great - when you know exactly how to use it

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it keeps things in an organized list view and that you can create sub-tasks for individual tasks. Being able to assign things and add due dates makes it easy to communicate with co-workers and delegate efficiently and effectively. It's neatly organized and it's nice to be able to click between project, group, and individual views.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how tricky it can be to find things. Also there's not a lot of notifications on screen that confirm or deny if I've made any changes. I also don't like how things are "hidden" and you have to really click around to find a note you made or a subtask. It's also too simple sometimes - really just a list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to launch campaigns or for product launches. Everyone knows exactly what they're responsible for and when they need to get it done by. The benefits have been major in terms of organization.
