Asana is my personal and business to-do and project and task manager
What do you like best about the product?
I love how clean, minimalistic and simple the user interface is. It loads quickly when I click on the app to add in any items. It was this app that made me fall in love with the peachy color scheme.
What do you dislike about the product?
Usually my Asana to-do list is extremely long and I often have due dates attached to them. Even when items are past due, they still sit at the very bottom of my to-do list and I never get to them. If there was some sort of visual way of prioritizing my deadlines (or at least bring them to the top of the list), that may be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can assign tasks to my co-workers. I used to work as an Executive Assistant and was told that if things were not on Asana, consider that task never done just like if a meeting isn't scheduled into Google calendar, then that meeting will never happen. When it becomes part of our day to day workflow, we all depend on it and can't imagine using any other tool.

This product is great for people with little online task mangament experience and for people with immense experience
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the premium features seem essential to proficient task management and yet they're inaccessible to orgs who can't afford premium
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recurring task were the most innovative space we we're managing with Asana
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're new to task management or using an online platform to do so, start simple. Asana can get really complicated really quickly, which is useful once you've familiarized yourself with the system, but this can be overwhelming at first.
Excellent for Clients & Team
What do you like best about the product?
Lets you invite unlimited clients to a project to collaborate.
What do you dislike about the product?
You still have to be a super organized person. Sometimes the notifications and dropping of tasks can get forgotten.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transparency with clients and making sure as a team we don't miss any steps. We set up templates like projects so we do the same tasks with consistency.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Compare it to others - if you want to add your clients without paying for them, we found Asana is the best bet.
Great for Teams!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that we can have individual tasks along with our Group tasks but are still able to keep them separate. This makes for easy tracking and assigning them to other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that your tasks aren't sorted by completed/not completed. When you mark something complete, you hav eto manually drag it all the way down to the end of the list...
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're having our projects completed on time and all members of our team are active in it.

Keeping your projects prioritized and keeping all team members involved is a breeze with Asana.
Task Management Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the team integration and the unlimited tasks and projects. The dashboard is a nice feature as well the reporting function.
What do you dislike about the product?
assigning tasks across different teams can be a little confusing as well as sorting projects through everyone's personal project lists.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When our previous task management system went down, Asana stepped in and proved to be a great tool to fill this void. It is a little more complex that our previous system but with added features that makes tracking project lifelines and task resolution easy.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and organize tasks and projects for the whole team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are locked in "Premium" mode and there could be more customization abilities to make organization better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management and assigning of tasks across a whole team is simple and it's easy to see the project as a whole spread across the whole team.
Simple and customizable interface
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to customize to make things as simple or complex as you need. It only took me about ten minutes to get the hang of the software. I have a client who already uses Asana for task management. They assigned me a company email and it was great to be immediately connected to their other projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dislike that you can't view more of the board tasks and cards at once. I think you can only see 4 cards and about 4 tasks down. I'd like to be able to remove certain features if I don't need them. For eI think the list dashboard can be simpler. I don't want to see blank lines if I don't need them. I'm a visual learner/worker and it crowds my thinking. I don't like that I have to really get into the software to be able to see where the shortcut keys are. It would benefit from having a quick list of shortcut keys you can learn about immediately upon signing up for the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for project management for my freelance clients. It's nice to be able to control access and give them a snapshot of all the moving parts with the board feature. I tried a few other task management software programs and Asana stood out the most for its simplicity. Some of my clients are not tech savvy and it's really nice to see that it is simple for them to understand.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it can organize both projects and task. It is web based. I have multiple supervisors and it is easy for everyone to track my projects and work load. I also like how it shows who is assigned tasks within a project.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can set due dates and you get emails on the day projects/task are due but I am having trouble figuring out how to send email reminders to myself and others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This helps communicate to 2 supervisors who work at different locations. It helps organize and visualize projects. It is nice to see everything laid out and is easy for everyone to access.

It is worth giving it a try.
Great for team work flow, has some small quirks
What do you like best about the product?
The learning curve for Asana is relatively minimal compared to Trello. I love being able to a customize a template for projects and assign a different person to that project. It's simple and easy to use and doesn't take someone with limited knowledge to jump right in and use the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I use Asana to prioritize actions in my day -- but I would love if there was a way to assign more than one person to a task.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We assign projects to various team members. It's an easy one-stop shop way of checking and seeing where projects are in their development process without having to bug team members for an update.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is much better for big-team projects; some of tasks/and sub-tasks can get lost when you move them around, though.
Asana is a life SAVER
What do you like best about the product?
Organizing my projects by board is such an amazing feature. It's like virtual sticky notes, but in an organized and easy-to-use fashion!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I had more customization with my tasks in terms of repeating. It would be nice to have tasks triggered by an event or schedule, like every other week or by date. Unfortunately, it only lets me repeat by week.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest benefit is managing a team. Working together to solve problems and work collaboratively on tasks has been a big help in keeping things moving in the right direction.

Investigate other softwares so you know just exactly how amazing Asana is! We investigated several project management software, but Asana kills it.
