Everyday I save time and feel more in control.
What do you like best about the product?
Working in Asana quickly puts me in control of any project--within the context of all the other projects already underway. It's design makes it easy to focus on what you want--and to see the big picture whenever you need to. With Asana, it's easy for me to know 'the next right thing to do' for myself and for others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like the ability to shift tasks between projects. Currently, that's not supported without lots of cutting/pasting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
project management > everything is under control
changing priorities > at-a-glance view of the to-do list by calendar, list, project, etc. makes this possible

Asana adapts to your processes. You need to be willing to adapt just a little to achieve the most success. Most people enjoy some of their less-than-best-practices. Asana works better in teams if you can leave those 'bad' practices behind.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to organize tasks and to-dos. Recurring tasks are super helpful. I'm able to keep everyone on my team in the loop without cluttering up email inboxes. I'm also able to keep tabs on tasks that have been assigned to my teammates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't seem to be set up for teams like mine. We'll probably never use the new "boards" feature. Wish there were more options to change notifications on tasks--similar to Facebook where I can turn off notification emails for certain tasks, instead of one blanket setting for all tasks. Wish it would suggest followers that I add frequently to my tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to using Asana, email inboxes were the "to-do" lists and it was horrible to track which emails actually needed something to be done and what emails were just FYIs. Asana has helped my team track what needs to be done, prioritize those tasks, evenly distribute workloads, and update superiors on task completions. Hours searching for lost emails have been saved, and now tasks aren't falling through the cracks.

What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a great design to track the work of the team. Subscribing to somebody work and then getting the updates how he completed his task is one of the feature i like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't dislike anything as such. I feel they should add feature like dashboard showing burn rate etc like an other Team planning tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To add the stories and tasks for the project. It really helps us to do the project planning and track the status of each tasks.

A modern and fun tool for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I am a huge fan of Asana. As a manager, it makes it so much easier for me to assign tasks to my team, monitor their progress, and ensure tasks are getting done on time. I'm very impressed with how fleshed out Asana is, even for the free version. Along with creating projects, you can assign tasks to specific users, add or change due dates, add notes, make comments, and tag other team members on tasks so they can also receive updates when a project is completed.
Also, there's something wonderful about Asana's celebrations, whether I'm getting a flying unicorn or a yeti for completing a task.

What do you dislike about the product?
Well, I've become so reliant on Asana that I go into panic mode when Asana is momentarily down. Asana does have a few quirks, which I think is because they're a newer platform. If I try to copy/paste text into the headline of a task, it won't show up in the project. There are a few other similar issues that aren't major, but they're a little frustrating. However, the pros certainly outweigh the cons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Overall, Asana helps our marketing team stay on schedule, keep aware of short and long-term projects, and collaborate. It's definitely made me more productive and it's easier to know what I need to work on each day.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend Asana for smaller teams who want to assign, manage, and track tasks. As for official project managers at an agency, it may not offer all the elements that a paid platform may provide, such as Trello or a similar one. However, for a marketing team, it's a great tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Super fast and responsive. It has a beautiful design. Well designed for managing team workflows and task-management

One of the thing I dislike is that you can't access it offline. Other then that it is perfect for managing team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it team management. I love the ability to create projects and tasks within the project. Once you've set up the project, you can follow the progress of those tasks from any browser (even on mobile devices).

If you're thinking of switching to Asana, I'll say you're making a right decision, do it now.
Great for personal and professional project management
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to generate tasks and then assign them. Provides simple management of daily tasks, a great way to collaborate on items and an easy method to tag and assign. Easy to use UI. Ability to easily collaborate with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to copy tasks over to other projects. No budget tools in the application for us to track finance.

Easy task management between various team members.

Asana is great for keeping track of deadlines and staying on top of goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
Over time I ended up with a lot of red (or overdue) tasks. If there was a way to remind me to finish up certain tasks in intervals, instead of all at once, that would have been helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was staying on top of one time and reoccurring tasks. I never forgot about anything crucial I needed to do.

it's easy to segment and group teams and the workflow tasks each team is required to execute.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's another system that we have to use and monitor to make sure everyone is handing off customers without dropping the ball or anything falling through the cracks

We have a ton of cross-functional communication that needs to happen to hand things off to other teams. It has helped a ton when we use a form in Asana for people to input data in a clean format

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use. It is easy and the fact that it has its own app is good so we don't get distracted. I love how you can send gif's to people instead of texting. It gives your life a little more personality.

There is nothing I dislike about the app. It is awesome! It allows you to talk to your colleagues in a fast and easy way.

We are solving communication problems. The benefits we've realized is that we can be in contact with others not face to face. It allows us to be more fun with our communication too.

Great Product, Just couldn't get the team to use it
What do you like best about the product?
Collaboration is great on asana. You can setup as many projects you want and easily get insight on where everyone stands on each phase of the project. I enjoyed using it, but I did find it confusing to navigate until someone showed me how to use it at 100%

Lot's of navigation to look at. Maybe if it were a bit more simple it would be easier to use

Collaboration and communication across functions, with increased visibility into each others workload and upcoming projects

I think its a useful platform and should 100% be considered when choosing vendors, but I would say to take the trial first and make sure it delivers exactly what you're looking for in a project management solution
