What do you like best about the product?
Easy and simple to use; easy to see tasks assigned to you or by project or by tag. Calendar and conversations make work days easier; allows for less emails between teams. The help page is easy to navigate and we like that it is broken out into how familiar the users are with the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features for the sub-tasks could be further developed and more options for what you can hide or add to the calendar would be helpful. Additional data features could be helpful; ghant charts, project data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
hidden customer wait times, on going continuous improvement opportunities, core system replacement. Able to be a part of multiple teams and efforts and track them all in one web based app

Emailed Tasks Make It Worth It

What do you like best about the product?
The email reminders of upcoming due dates are exactly what I need to stay on top of projects and tasks. All of the other features are just extra. The mobile app is also very efficient and sleek.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to set recurring deadlines at specific date intervals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Emailed reminders have made keeping track of due dates easier.

Great Tool For Productivity

What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to learn how to use. Almost no learning curve whatsoever to get the hang of using the tool and communicating with other members. Very pleased with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes multiple projects are not threaded together when the same team is using Asana. This can be a bit confusing when it comes to locating a project after login. I've found myself a few times having to click through multiple projects before finding the one that I was after.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating with a disparate team across international borders to achieve a common business goal. Easily sharing files and calendars for upcoming events and milestones. Helping to streamline communications that would otherwise be a hodgepodge of email, IM, text, and phone calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great tool for easily communicating with your team. Security is a bit lax if everyone has the same member privileges, so keep that in mind. It might make sense to have multiple levels of user accounts for different teams to keep silos separated for both privacy, and ease of communication. Really the only issue I've had with Asana is getting my projects mixed up from time-to-time. Otherwise it's a great tool for organizations large and small, and I highly recommend it for use by others.

What do you like best about the product?
1. Clean and neat UI.
2. Easy management of tasks.
3. Status updates has never been so easy!
4. Far ahead of its competitors in terms of all the perspectives.
5. Impressive free version for a team of 15.
6. Allows to add files, comments and updates for each and every single task.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. I have been using Asana more than a year. Personally, I don't feel any cons as such. Works good for tracking your tasks and your team-mates tasks if you're managing a team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking the work/tasks(week on week / month on month ) was a pain. Asana helped to overcome it with ease!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Must try product. I bet you wouldn't go back!

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is aesthetically pleasing and well organized. I can see what tasks are due, who's doing them, and when they need to be completed by which is great for organizing my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve and finding things that should be intuitive is challenging.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing workload and tasks across my team. It helps organize and see who is performing what task and preventing overlap of work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good way to organize tasks across teams.

What do you like best about the product?
i really like the fact that It id easy to understand and use. it also ensures that all changes are logged and communicated to every stakeholder in real time. i also did not need any customization as it worked for me right out of the box.
What do you dislike about the product?
i had no issues with Asana. i enjoyed my user experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i am a project team member and Asana has helped me manage documents, aided collaboration with remote team members and ensured that all our tasks are completed before our deadlines.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is really easy to use. but be prepared to get lots of email updates and reminders.

Asana gets the job done, but it's not always the best UI

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite feature of Asana is the project-setting function. I work on small teams and manage two people. In Asana, I can create a project with sub-tasks, assign them to my team members, and even give them due dates. When they complete them, they just check them off, and I'm notified.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't create the robust sub-categories I would like to on the platform, and I also can't rid of some of the premade ones. It also sorts tasks in ways that don't make so much sense for me. Whenever I exit it out, it resets to "incomplete" instead of "due date," and I have to go in and manually change it again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to manage small teams efficiently and keep the communication channels open without bogging everyone down with email. It's also essentially a master task list for groups.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's not going to replace email. It might help streamline email, but don't set your expectations too high. Sometimes it's just either to send an unstructured message than set up a structured task.

What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to use and organize. You can create different projects so everything is organized and assign tasks and subtasks as need.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times I wish I could assign multiple people to one task. Also being an a student and entrepreneur I wish it was easier to switch between teams rather than having to switch in and out each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps the team stay organized and make sure nothing is falling through the cracks. Before we started using Asana we kept on forgetting a lot of things and never knew who was in charge or what.

What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is simple to use and easy to understand. New users can get up and running in no time with little to no instruction.
What do you dislike about the product?
I definitely would like more customization options for both tasks and projects. They have been making advances here, but more would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a remote team managing several projects. Asana allows us to collaborate on all the of these projects seamlessly. We can follow projects and tasks that are relevant to us, and non follow anything else that would be noise. It's quick & easy to see progress updates as well.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I highly recommend! Easy to use interface, mobile access and customizable.

What do you like best about the product?
This software works great as a central hub for a project. I really like that each member of a given group/project can upload files and add comments accordingly to the tasks assigned to them. This makes it much more of a collaborative environment rather than a simple to-do list.
What do you dislike about the product?
I receive a LOT of emails from Asana related to projects, tasks, reminders, requests, etc. Maybe I just need to go in and adjust my personal settings somewhere.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps us track and manage projects where there are multiple people involved and where the environment is constantly changing.
