I super love Asana for project management
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Asana when they were still new to the market. Asana makes project management as easy as one to three. The scheduling features and completion are so easy to use. You don't need to be tech savvy to use it in organizing your projects or business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Asana is so perfect for me and I can't find a single flaw on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana helps you to track project completion, who's working on a certain tasks and what are the challenges to overcome to hit the deadline. Asana saves you time since you can manage all you projects and your team all in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will never regret if you use this project management tool. It allows you to use list or boards like in Trello.
Easy online task manager and planner.
What do you like best about the product?
I use asana daily. I write down all the tasks I need to do and love how I can set it to be a reoccurring task so I never forget. I also love how others can join in for group projects and can assign tasks etc. I have many group assignments and it's wonderful how everything- all communication- can be in one spot. Nothing really falls through the cracks and makes it really simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn’t been anything as of yet that I have not liked. I haven't had any issues arise or anything that would make getting my work done harder.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I’m solving the chance of forgetting to do the little things. There are a lot of little things that go into my job and a lot of small tasks- so Asana helps keep track of all of that. Also, I’m solving the issue of being able to collaborate with others who don’t work in the same office as you. Around sixty percent of my work is a collaboration with someone else who doe does not work in my office. So, Asana creates the atmosphere online like we do work together.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You will never regret signing up with Asana. If you struggle with learning new databases and programs- Asana is very easy to use and there are tutorials to teach you if you still struggle.
Great collaborative "task management" solution
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is great to perform "micromanagement" with a group of people working under same projects. The setup is quick as it doesn't require a bunch of configurations such as other more complex project management solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a great tool for task management but it keeps short to manage a project or product roadmap as the main "object" to introduce and manage through the platform are "tasks" that can only have a due date but no duration at all. It's also lacking some agile concepts for priorization as "size".
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's working good for "micromanage" simple tasks of a group of more than 3 people that can get messed, missing things to do, deadlines. Allowing the team to meet important deadlines or arrange important tasks to perform to accomplish a project.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a task management solution for a group of people between 3 and 10 people this is a right choice. However, If you think of Asana as a Product Management tool, discard the idea as you will be missing lot of elements that are necessary to perform a proper product management.
Great project management software
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is incredibly easy to use and set up. It has a lot of good features: I like that it gives you reminders, and allows you to check off tasks after you finished with them, and finally, to send draft docs to others within that task.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish that Asana had more connections to slack, and also had more project management features such as reporting and budgeting features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to keep all of our projects and communication transparent within the organization. It has helped the team to see what is due as a group.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its pretty simple and intuitive to use...
Great task manager
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to manage tasks, you can organize work comfortably and assign tasks to colleagues without complications, it is very simple and clear to use, plus, you can use external services to add the functions you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its simplicity, its greatest strength is its greatest weakness, the fact that it is so simple makes it difficult to mark the times and know when a colleague is free or not, or if a task is completed on time.
Having to look for those external services that I think should already be implemented is a problem, since these services can disappear or cause some problem at any time, although at the moment I am very happy with Instagantt+ which is used to apply the Gantt chart to the tasks created in Asana.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The organization within the work group was initially very difficult to manage, both the work and the timing. We didn't have any tools, and it was very challenging. We needed a free and simple tool to get started. When we started using Asana, we thought it was the best work management application we could use as a small, non-profit development group.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Asana is a good platform for small companies, you can create tasks in a simple and organized way, you don't need much knowledge about task management to be able to use it. Additionally, if in the future you want more with the external applications they offer, you can make more use of it.
Recommended for small teams that have just started and want simplicity, for later on I think other services are better.

Asana for work
What do you like best about the product?
Asana is easy enough to use and that makes adoption easy. The best part was that it made change management easy and I got the whole organisation to switch over from Trello. It made project management easy and intuitive. The Board feature makes it easy to see tasks at hand and is a good visual representation of all the work.
What do you dislike about the product?
There needs to be a better calendar feature within Asana. The current calendar is split across groups and makes it difficult to give a general overview of the organisation and all the team's involvement. The fact that to track progress of each project I need to pay extra, is annoying. It would have been a lot better if I could keep track of projects via prioritizing them according to urgency.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest task for me was to set up the organisation's structure and operationalise all the tasks in one place. As a project management tool, Asana was able to provide me with that value. It's easy to use, so for people who have never used Asana before, it was easy to get started.
Task organizer of infinite benefits
What do you like best about the product?
A quick way to summarize it is: An agenda with infinite possibilities. At first, it may seem a bit complicated, especially because being a scalable and configurable application, it comes completely empty, but this is where its power lies, as it can be adjusted to any scenario. In our case, we use it as a board with schedules, quadrants, a database, and everything digitally, hosted in the cloud and in our case free because we don't reach the limit of 15 employees, so... what more could you ask for. Each user has access from a PC or mobile (Android and iOS) and it works really well. The truth is that even if you need more than 5 users, it is still an application very much worth considering, the learning time and money it requires is very small for all it can offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
That an application is so configurable can make it difficult for us to start because it comes empty. You have to create the users and all the projects we want with their respective permissions. Once the application is configured, it is about understanding how it works and getting used to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a consultation board and on it we have all the data we need. It's like an agenda but much more powerful. You assign tasks to each person and everything is recorded, making it very difficult to make mistakes and saving a lot of time since everything is recorded and serves as a reference and historical record.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The version is free for up to 15 users, it's worth trying it out and seeing all its potential.
Great Tool For Tracking a Group Project's Progress
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of this program is that you can easily see how much work there is to do, and what the progress of the group members are. It also allows you to see the assignments that you have completed.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have more graphs. For example to see the productivity of group members over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My work group uses Asana to have work assigned and to keep track of our group's progress on completing a project. It's especially helpful for remembering what work has been completed and when.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This program is good for keeping track of your own progress is well as that of your group.
Great product for task management and team collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Asana has a really nice user flow and its easy to get started with. It's great for team collaboration, management and prioritization of tasks, as well as sprints planning. Onboarding new team members and getting them up to speed with a project requirements has never been easier. I like the custom themes, as well as months planning calendars. I also use it for my personal projects, it makes it easier for me to track my work and to have all the information that I need in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't much. The tagging system is a bit simple for me, I would like it to be a bit more customizable, but overall I am satisfied with the service. There has been in the latest months some of a downtime, which needs to be tackled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using it for our daily work for estimating, planning and managing team tasks. The main benefits are ease of use, availability and reliability. You don't have to waste time changing between email, spreadsheets, even desktop sticky notes, to manage a company's projects. The tool organizes all your team's work (like tasks, calendar, goals, files, notes, and more) in one place, so it's the only tool you need to coordinate tasks and keep projects on track. Moreover, with the teams feature, it is really easy for me to swap between my work, university and personal projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best tool to keep all of your projects and team information and collaboration in one platform.
One of the best ways to manage your tasks, your team's projects and even your recurring meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Tons of flexibility, beautiful interface, and overall a great solution for both task and project management
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like the search to be more sophisticated, but it's not that big of a deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing personal tasks, projects and team meetings. It's easy and fast to get your team onboard and get started immediately, but despite looking simple, it actually offers a lot of features that make it a great tool for tasks and projects.
We even use it for managing some of our recurring meetings - As a kind of idea & discussion board. People suggest ideas to be discussed, all participants vote on which ideas to discuss in the next meeting, and during the meeting we summarise the discussion in the comments and leave next steps there. No topic gets lost!

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the most useful when your entire team is on it, and not using any other application. You want tasks to be in the same place, and if you must use two different tools (e.g, tasks in Salesforce + Asana) define clear rules which tasks go where.
