Good project management, but not the super user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
Comments tagging followers. Timelines are good.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit of a learning curve. I don't like the price jump to the next higher tier just to be able to use Portfolios.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I honestly am using it a bit reluctantly because my boss wants to. I am using it for project management.
Keeps Projects Organized, but Buggy Deletions Create User Cleanup Hassles

It keeps me very organized and on time with projects

Sometimes it gets very buggy, such as deleting projects doesn't remove users

What do you like best about the product?
I like that with Asana, I can see where we are in all aspects of a project, which really helps with collaboration. There's no more searching different places for info on one project since it's all in one place. Our team switched to Asana because more of us preferred the interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Asana had a better chat feature for communicating with anyone in the team that's online, not just within a project. Also, the initial setup was challenging as the instructional videos weren't very helpful. It would be great to have only a few people with access to the higher tier with portfolios, but it's currently not cost-effective for our entire team to be on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Asana for collaboration on projects with my team. I can see where we are in all aspects of a project, and there's no more searching different places for info since everything is in one place.
Effortless Project Management with Asana
What do you like best about the product?
I like the email notifications which are nice for keeping me informed. I also appreciate the ability to add attachments and parcel out tasks so once one part is done, it notifies the next person to do their part. This feature is really helpful because we can go back and reference old reports, proofs, etc. Additionally, the initial setup of Asana was easy for me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like being notified every time something on a project is changed if it doesn't affect me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana ensures all pieces are handled, everyone knows their part, and tasks are paralleled, with email notifications and attachments for referencing old reports.

It is quite interactive and user friendly.

Could be a lag if too much load is placed upon.

User interface is good.. no confusion at all..

Sometime it takes time to update task and UI shows it’s fine but after few seconds it’s rollback..

Manage Team Work from Anywhere—Strong Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
We can manage our teams work easily and mainly anywhere. It is best in project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel it has some kind of user limitations. Also we can't use some features if we don't have there premium subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said it is helping us alot in managing our projects. It is greatly contributing to our overall management works.
Simple Project and Task Prototyping, But PDF Printing Needs Work
What do you like best about the product?
I like the simplicity of organizing thoughts/steps and easily moving them around most. With Asana we're able to quickly prototype a project of series of tasks that can then be assigned, optionally have a due date set and make sure we don't forget it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few downsides of Asana. One is that you will only be as successful with it as your use case demands or your culture will dictate. If you want to put something through it, it will help you, it will ensure those that are also licenses and added get updates. Individual user milage may vary - it will not solve for a project owner not being able to break things down in a way that is digestible.
One recent downside i found was the inability to nicely 'print' a project into a simply document to have the tasks in a PDF form.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Asana is solving for quick project management with collaboration needs & notifications. It is also solving for ongoing process management in some cases that evolve over time using the template system. It is helping small teams respond efficiently to ever changing processes month over month and ensuring new steps are not forgotten. The platform is simple and that is a strength.
Visually Clear and Easy to Use, But Task Tracking Can Improve
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the Asana interface is visually pretty clear to use. It's easy to see everything on one screen, which makes it accessible for folks who are not super tech-savvy and facilitates buy-in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Things often get lost within specific tasks, and it can be hard to find things if they aren't housed in a specific project. Sometimes I feel like the tasks themselves just disappear and are hard to find and keep track of.

I use Asana to track projects and organize tasks among my team so everyone knows their responsibilities.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps keep the team on the same page.

It is not easy to understand. There isn't an easy to use calendar where we can put when we are out of the office.
