What do you like best about the product?

Asset Sonar's use to our environment has allowed us to move away from Sharepoint spreadsheets and into a solid platform to better manage our IT related equipment. The performance and scalability of the tool was properly vetted and continues to perform as we intended. The ROI has exceeded it annual price point.

What do you dislike about the product?

We haven't discovered any dislike for the product, as our dedicated rep has been extremely helpful to all our needs. We continue to conduct quarterly calls to help maximize the tool and comparing AS to our previous tracking tool, we appreciate the consistency in UI.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Asset Sonar has and continue to solve tool to equipment integrations. We have used the product to assist various groups for equipment fair market value information, along with security related matters. We've also used AI/Intelligence platform to assist with generated reports

What do you like best about the product?

What I like most about AssetSonar is that it’s user-friendly and easy to understand. It didn’t take much time to get familiar with the platform, and the overall interface is easy to navigate. I also like that there are a lot of customization options, so we can set things up based on what works best for our team and our requirement

What do you dislike about the product?

One thing I would like to see improved is that some of the more advanced features can take a little time to understand and set up. It would be helpful to have more straightforward guidance or examples for those features. Overall, though, my experience with AssetSonar has been positive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

AssetSonar makes it much easier for us to manage our inventory and keep everything organized in one place. Having everything in a single solution helps reduce the manual work we used to do and makes it easier to keep track of our assets and manage them more efficiently.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that AssetSonar provides some insights, which is really helpful for me. I also appreciate its ability to go and search and find all the devices there and then connect with our other systems.

I feel there are some areas that could be improved, especially on the reporting part.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use AssetSonar for IT asset management, maintaining all our IT devices like computers, mobile phones, and conference rooms. It provides insights and allows search and integration with other systems.

What do you like best about the product?

The integrations with various software and services—like Jira, Dell Warranty, Fedex, M365, Lenovo warranty, and more—are really helpful. Their support team is also one of the most responsive in the business.

What do you dislike about the product?

There aren’t many downsides. I know their pricing model is changing, and it was a bit shocking at first, but the EZO team worked with me to lock in the pricing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It’s helping solve our asset management challenges and integrates well with our ticketing system. The biggest benefit is that we can pass audits more easily and stay on top of our laptop refresh cycles.

Asset Sonar handles all the needs for hardware and software management. The integration with Jira was very useful in linking issues with users hardware, as well as software tracking

As as the moment, there were no direct intergations with DayForce HCM platform

Tracking and managing software licenses and installations has always been an issue to tack. the Asset sonar discovery tool automated that process as well as showing unapproved software installs

It makes asset tracking and location creation easy.

What do you dislike about the product?

Not a fan of the emailing from the sales team. If we need something, we'll say something.

Asset tracking.

Has been working hand-in-hand with Zendesk allowing to view who owns what when working on a ticket for a user.

It requires constant updating and information some of which I do not know such as PO numbers.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

AssetSonar has solved the issue of knowing what is where and who has what. It benefits us as a company since it works well with Zendesk. When working on a ticket of a user, it will let you know what the user has assigned without having to open a new chrome tab and search in AssetSonar's website.

It can track both digital assests and hardware. The interface is easy to see what you're looking at. It integrates with our help desk platform

The pricing could be better, and I’d also like to see a more robust support system.

This product helps us track our hardware and software assets across the company.

Ease of use, reports, notifications, custom configurations.

What do you dislike about the product?

It's a bit overwhelming at first. Automatically discovering assets is a good feature, but once they are discovered, it takes a long time to get things sorted out. I'm mainly referring to Chromebooks. I'm not sure there is a better way to do it, just may be the "nature of the beast" in IT

It helps in determining now many devices are lost each year due to damage, ageing out, etc. This is a huge help in determining next years IT device budget as we have a good estimate as to how many devices we will lose per year.

- Barcode and QR code scanning speeds up check-in/check-out processes.
- Customizable reports and analytics help in making data-driven decisions.
- Integration with IT systems ensures smooth workflows without duplication.
- The audit trails and maintenance tracking improve accountability and extend asset life.
Upside: It saves time, reduces losses, and provides clear visibility into asset usage and performance.

What do you dislike about the product?

- The user interface can feel complex for new users, requiring training to get comfortable.
- Mobile app functionality isn’t always as smooth or feature-rich as the desktop version.
- Customization options (like tailored workflows or advanced reporting) can be limited compared to some competitors.
- Pricing may be high for smaller organizations, especially if they don’t need all the advanced features.
- Occasional sync delays between devices can cause minor frustration.
Downside: While powerful, it can feel overwhelming at first and may require extra effort to fully leverage.
