A powerful tool for online conferencing
What do you like best about the product?
I like Zoom best for its ability to effectively magnify conversations from a distance. With many features free of charge, it's ideal for groups of all sizes and budgets. Communication channels such as text messages, phone calls, online chat rooms or audio recordings make long distance connections easier than ever! The platform also allows you to preview the quality of your video and audio before you join a meeting - something few other programs allow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom's technical problems can get in the way of communication, and I find them extremely frustrating. Regular Zoom users can attest to the impact these interruptions have on the flow of a meeting or conversation. Furthermore, Zoom poses an increased security risk that should not be ignored.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps you set up high definition video conferencing meetings. I use Zoom to connect with my colleagues and clients from anywhere in the world, allowing us to collaborate on projects without being physically present.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that its free. Also it's cool that me and my team can meet up online, share our screens and its as effective as offline meeting. We have chat, we can put avatars, turn on video and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dont like is frozen screens from time to time, but I dont know if it's connection problem. Also it would be cool if they will add some no note-making feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have a meeting even if someone is far away - it's very helpful. And these meetings as effective as offline meetings!

Zoom is a safe bet. We know it will work, that it's reliable, and that most people are used to how Zoom works. It has the basic functionalities for video calls and allows additional features like recording, polls, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom's UI can definitely improve. The UI does not seem to have changed since I first started working with it. Also feel like there are improvements that can be made, eg. replying to a specific chat message.

You can create a meeting and invite other parties via email or by sending the link directly.
It doesn't consume a lot of Ram, and their settings are easy to use

The free meetings only last 30 minutes - I understand it can be expensive for the creator but 1 hour meetings would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us have internal meetings with either our direct supervisors or our clients. It is vital for us to share our screens, and the chat box is helpful for QA sessions

What do you like best about the product?
I think Zoom stands out for its comprehensive feature set, intuitive user experience and customisation options. It is reliable, with multiple built-in security features that ensure privacy in an age of digital vulnerability. I'm inspired by how well it supports collaboration through chat features that allow participants from all over the world to communicate instantly without having to switch platforms or applications, but simply stay within a single app for their meetings and conversations, no matter what device they're using.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have concerns about the security of Zoom due to 'zoombombing' where uninvited people can join meetings. In addition, there may be technical issues such as poor audio/video quality and connection problems that could disrupt conversations or activities while using it. I also dislike the fact that additional features are only available with a paid subscription after the first 40 minutes for free users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it easier for our remote team to stay connected and collaborate in real time. With Zoom, we can create separate spaces for each project or group within the same platform, so communication stays organised and on track.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very reliable and easy to use. It is easier to change your background than Teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
but you have to pay for it... Teams is included in your Microsoft365 license, which most people have already. Bit of a hard one for Zoom to solve!

Zoom is great for meetings. Very reliable. I also find it very good for doing tutorials for IT.
