Essential Hub for Reliable Hybrid Collaboration

  • December 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Zoom Workplace for its consistent reliability and seamless integration. The video and audio just work, meeting after meeting, which removes pre-call anxiety. Having everything in one unified platform means I don't waste time juggling apps—everything connects smoothly, making hybrid collaboration feel effortless and professional. The AI Companion truly stands out by automatically generating concise meeting summaries and action items, saving hours of manual note-taking. I also appreciate features like Focus Mode and immaculate screen sharing, especially the 'share portion of screen,' which create a distraction-free and professional environment. These tools actively enhance productivity, not just facilitate communication. Its unmatched call stability and all-in-one design streamline our hybrid workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few pain points stand out. The sheer number of features can clutter the interface, making some advanced tools (like Scheduler or Mail) feel buried and less intuitive than standalone apps. Also, the search function within Chat and for shared files is surprisingly sluggish and limited. Lastly, the true power—especially of the AI Companion—is locked behind higher-tier plans, which can feel like a pricing pinch for growing teams wanting full capability. One recent observation is that while the AI Companion is powerful, its summary accuracy can sometimes miss nuanced context or assign action items incorrectly, requiring a manual review. Additionally, the push to add features like Zoom Mail & Calendar feels reactive; these modules lack the polish of dedicated platforms (e.g., Gmail, Outlook) and can fragment the experience rather than streamline it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace centralizes our communication, reducing context-switching by integrating meetings, chat, and collaboration in one platform. It resolves the unreliability of video/audio during critical client calls, providing a stable, professional experience that builds trust.

A Reliable Hub for Modern Team Collaboration

  • December 30, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Meetings, chat, calls, and collaboration tools all work smoothly without feeling cluttered, so teams can stay connected and productive without juggling multiple apps. It’s easy to use, stable even with large groups, and lets people focus more on the conversation and less on the technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
It relies heavily on a strong internet connection, so performance can drop in low-bandwidth situations. At times, managing notifications and multiple tools within the platform can feel slightly distracting rather than streamlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it’s a complete hub where I can chat, share files, and jump into meetings without switching between apps. The interface is intuitive, the reliability is strong, and scheduling or joining sessions is seamless. This consistency makes working with teammates, whether they’re in the next room or across continents, feel natural and efficient.

What do you like best about the product?
One of its biggest strengths is how easy it is to use. Joining meetings is simple, the interface is clean, and features like screen sharing, chat, and breakout rooms work smoothly. The video and audio quality are generally strong, even with larger groups. Integration with calendars and other tools also helps keep meetings organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version has time limits on meetings, which can be frustrating for longer discussions or group projects. It can also use a lot of system resources, causing lag or overheating on older devices. Additionally, with many features added, the app can feel overwhelming for new users.

As always, an excellent service, but could be cheaper

  • December 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly? It just works when you need it to. I'm running client demos, investor pitches, and team standups back-to-back, and Zoom doesn't flake out on me. The screen sharing is solid - no lag or weird glitches that make you look unprofessional. Recording feature is clutch for reviewing sales calls later. Plus, everyone and their grandma knows how to join a call, which saves me 10 minutes of tech support every single meeting. The breakout rooms are actually useful when running workshops with different groups working simultaneously.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing is kind of aggressive for what you're getting - feels like they're milking the market leader position. Mobile app can be buggy as hell, I've had it crash mid-call more than once which is embarrassing when you're with clients. Battery drain on my MacBook is insane, like it's mining crypto in the background or something. The UI is cluttered with features most people never touch - could use some streamlining. Also, the 40-minute limit on free accounts is annoying when you're trying to get prospects to try it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main thing - eliminating all the friction around remote meetings. I'm closing deals without flying across the country, onboarding team members in different time zones, and running client presentations without worrying about technical issues. The ROI is solid - no more travel costs eating into margins. Recording calls means I can review objections and improve my pitch. Breakout rooms let me run multiple discovery sessions simultaneously during workshops. It's basically enabling my entire remote-first business model to actually work at scale.

Convenient and User-Friendly, But Laggy Screen Sharing

  • December 29, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Zoom Workplace for meetings and personal family gatherings. It saves my time and money, and it makes it easy to connect with people from my comfort. I find it convenient and versatile, and it's user-friendly. The initial setup was really easy and user-friendly, so even someone with basic knowledge can do it. It's good.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the feature of screen sharing lags a lot, there should be a stable bridge installed in servers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Workplace saves my time and money, making it easy to connect with people from my comfort.
