Zoom as Replacement for Legacy Alternatives
What do you like best about the product?
I replaced our old video and phone conferencing system with Zoom, with the objections of almost the entire company.
Within weeks, all objections were gone. Everyone found it preferable, with a simple learning curve.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really find many downsides to zoom. It works better than other video-conferencing software I have used in the past. Pricing for some features can be steep, I suppose.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use zoom for webinars, demos, internal meetings, chat, and more. It has become our primary communication solution. The best part is the quick ramp-up with potential clients or new employees.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to use and has become a critical part of our everyday use. Zoom continuously makes super relevant updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many downsides to the zoom platform other than the pricing and recent changes about what is available in each membership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I can quickly and efficiently hold meetings of all sizes. At this point, everyone is very familiar with zoom and can quickly hop on a meeting when needed.
Great funtionality, solid UI, but a bit expensive for businesses.

Zoom is the most reliable video conferencing tool with the highest quality video.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduling a meeting through Google calendar can be clunky, and the default settings (for example, allowing others to share screen) are not always intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My business is mostly remote and majority of our internal and external meetings are through Zoom.

What do you like best about the product?
I'm a private music teacher and access to Zoom helps me keep my business running. Especially during this unprecedented time! No more missed lessons!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a sound issue. As we use piano as a part of our calls, the sound can be a little wonky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to quickly schedule a meeting or send out a link for connection has helped me keep my business as a piano teacher going. Even during a pandemic!

Zoom is user-friendly, highly recognizable, and has great support.

There have been times that there were bugs. ie) several users were unable to use their microphones during a short time period.

Zoom has been a key tool in helping my company stay in business during the Covid-19 pandemic. Allowing face-to-face communication with both staff and clients is crucial in building trust and communicating efficiently. Screen sharing features are also a great benefit.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the overall simplicity for the user and the basic features it offers. I think Zoom is a quality video conferencing product that can be used for many diverse purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
l don't enjoy how complicated the back-end settings are to access for admins. It would be ideal if all the settings were accessible in the app itself rather than on the website on pages that are difficult to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving the problem of video conferencing connectivity and providing a space for me to hold meetings and events online in a user-friendly way. We are able to meet efficiently and easily thanks to Zoom which helps us become more productive.
Works Well for Small Biz Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy for my clients to use. It's convenient to have the full invite to copy immediately after scheduling the call. Screen sharing is a huge plus! I also love having the always-open room for repeat meetings and/or last-minute calls with my staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a lower-tier payment plan for people who only use the service sparingly. My business is only 2-3 people and we only use Zoom a few times a month. I get much more value out of similarly priced online subscriptions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing how often my employees and I need to travel. Keeping ourselves safer before meeting our clients. Allowing us to help clients not in our service area.
Great for Daily Meetings (Mulitple)
What do you like best about the product?
I like the screen share and give control feature, it comes in handy when I'm letting clients navigate around screens.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes awhile for me and my coworkers to get into meetings after the host has let us in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since Covid, our office has gone to remote work. Zoom helps my company feel more at ease about us attending meetings and collaborating.

It allows us to have meetings with clients remotely and makes it easy to feel a connection even through the screen. When it comes to finding a clear, easy to use system for meetings, Zoom is our organization's choice.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact we need Zoom is a downside, it would be much nicer to have face-to-face meetings with clients. I think one thing that could be added to make Zoom better is a caption option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's closing the gap for the immunocompromised by allowing them appointments even when travel is anavailable. It makes inconveniences less or a problem. We can do Zoom appointments rather than cancel them
Zoom for Church
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to navigate and takes little "training". Yet, at the same time it offers flexibility and options for those who wish to "do" more with it. It has allowed great opportunities for church groups to gather safely, stay connected while traveling, and have meetings on the fly when needed. The waiting room and recurring meeting have been extremely helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall there isn't much to dislike about Zoom, if anything I would say navigating pages of multiple participants can be difficult at times. If there was a way to see a list (when not a host) of participants easily, click there name and then see their camera, that would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping us stay connected with individuals who are homebound, sick, or don't yet feel safe gathering in groups or croweds. It has helped maintain, and even increase, engagement.
