A go to app for video conferencing

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a very good platform for video conferencing. It is user friendly and even has good user interface for all ages. Zoom meets all the privacy criteria of online working. It is definitely a goto app.
What do you dislike about the product?
Calls are easily disconnected when there is no internet. Passcodes to enter a zoom room are a little too lengthy and complicated. Please change that and zoom is good to go!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
zoom solves most privacy problems. No random outsiders can attend the meet, unless they've got access to the code. With zoom, i have been more productive considering i can see my colleagues work at the same time. This gives me energy and eases my lethargic attitude.

What do you like best about the product?
When I have a problem, Zoom customer support is always there. I log on to the chat. I ask to speak with a representative if I can't get my answer for the chatbot, and I am speaking with a person. How many places do you still get a person?
What do you dislike about the product?
I have only recalled once or twice I wasn't being understood by the customer support person. That could be communication issues, me not explaining well what I needed or them not understanding. Not really to blame.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has increased our participation in monthly meetings by a large percentage for our organization. This helps with improved member relations, and the Executive Board is meeting on Zoom and helping with transportation issues for late evening meetings.

What do you like best about the product?
It feels intuitive to use, there are multiple ways of interacting and visual as well as text comment options

sometimes connectivity is an issue but probably not Zoom's fault

Collaborations with colleagues who are at a distance, seamless integration to my calendar is a huge help

What do you like best about the product?
Instant communication with friends and family over a long geographic distance. The quality of the experience is overall very good for people on both sides of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not really experience downsides to Zoom. My team of people, who I train to run the program, seems competent and picks up the platform quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is connecting my church family across many states and time zones. Something that would not have been possible even 10 years ago (without more expensive solutions) is accessible for people of most every technical ability and age.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has a very familiar interface that most users have used in their personal lives to stay connected with family and friends. This was most impactful during the early stages of the pandemic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tech support is a bit challenging, even with the Enterprise plan. Versions change very often (likely due to necessary security updates) - but this can prove difficult for less experienced end users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is adding other features and functionality to the base platform, bringing it closer or beyond the line set by other major corporate conferencing providers.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy and reliable. I am impressed with its up time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes requires an extra step when someone else sends a zoom invitation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting with people who do not live in NYC. Also, we deliver executive interviews and can now do so without the cost of travel.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to schedule. I just go into My Meetings and schedule a session. I can then copy and paste the info. into my Outlook calendar and send invites to all who need to attend from my Outlook calendar. (I'm aware that I can do this from Zoom, but it's easiest to use Outlook since I track all my engagements there.) I also really appreciate how I can readily automate the scheduling of meetings that occur biweekly or monthly, so I don't forget. It makes it so much easier. I know Zoom has added a lot of capabilities that I haven't tried yet but I'm happy with what I do know. When I need more, I'll look for more via the options presented below the scheduling section.
Zoom is very easy to use and intuitive. As a trained industrial engineer, this is great. Too many times companies focus on function over ease of use. If you have all this functionality but no one can find it or has to look up a succession of YouTube videos to figure it out, it's not working! So kudos to Zoom to focusing on the typical end user.
I can make sure I look good and adjust the lighting before clicking on my camera. This is very important because, if I had one Zoom meeting in the early am and don't have another until later in the day, things may need updating! Also, it's easy to check and adjust the sound.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is when I'm on Zoom all day at least two days in a row. That's not Zoom's fault. But it does lead to Zoom fatigue. All those ring lights and back-up lighting bearing down on me for hours in a day, days in a row make me tired. Unfortunately, I nearly always only Zoom when I'm an active participant so I can't go off camera.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom for my small business and we use it to enable hybrid monthly meetings with a group I sit on the Board of. This means some of us are in person and others are remote. We can use different computers and key on their frames to get their view of the meeting room, the speakers / panelists or the emcee at the podium. It's straightforward to set up and use and for us to make any corrections. We may have 50 in the room and up to 10 on Zoom. We expect these numbers to grow as people return from summer traveling. This helps our business association increase our membership size and retain those members.
For my business, Zoom enables me to communicate with clients and get to know them remotely.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom works across all platforms seem less Lu, from Windows to Chrome to Mac/os and iOS. While there are occasional hiccups, updating the Zoom software to the most current level usually clears them up.

So far. I have never had a major problem that required to call Zoom support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to Zoom and video conferencing in general is that on screen people resemble Flat Stanley, and some are uncomfortable being on camera.

Unclear on how to overcome this. Even some members of the selfie generation have this problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting with clients for proposals, keeping up with distant friends and family, and for my non-profit activities. Not nearly as critical now the pandemic is ebbing, but necessary when people are either out of town, or, God forbid, in the hospital.

What do you like best about the product?
ZOOM allows communication through Video and Audio in a Secure way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom is very resource intensive on its own and is subject to halts when anti-virus software interacts with it. Troubleshooting the issues is complex, requiring much time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem ZOOM solves is meeting and involving people on a human, team-based level. Recording the interaction is also easily accomplished.
