Great tool even if pricey
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom offers great video and audio quality. I literally have not once worried on zoom whether this time the call quality will be terrible. In fact, I have frequently switched from using other tools in the middle of a meeting back over to zoom because I know it's always reliable. The only thing that could get in the way of this is if someone has actually horrible internet. Whereas with other services both could have a great provider and still never be certain.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I truly dislike is the cost. It costs so much to have access to zoom as someone who mostly uses it for family calls and for 1on1 interviews.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is easy to use for everyone. I don't have to worry about my boomer in laws not knowing what to do or how to troubleshoot their problem in the middle of a call. It's all self explanitory.
Reliable platform for video communication
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to save recordings on either the local device or cloud is nice. Being able to share screens and have a chat option is really heplful too! Linking it with Vimeo allows m to send recordings to students!
What do you dislike about the product?
The files that are saved to the local device don't always upload to vimeo and that is a huge frustration! Otherwise there arent many things that I dislike! Sometimes I wish it wouldnt force an update before use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom to teach online, and it helps that it's easy to use whether on desktop or mobile. Being able to record the class and then connect it to vimeo is a great feature!
Zoom isn't perfect but it's the best I've used
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is the most reliable video meeting/conferencing service I've used. Our company has used Zoho Meeting, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, and Zoom is by far the most stable and reliable. The picture quality and audio quality are more consistent than the others. A lot depends on the individual users' internet connection bandwidths, so none are perfect all the time. However, we've stopped using the other services because of annoying and persistent quality issues; and because Zoom is the easiest get everyone into a meeting. It's so easy to get people on a meeting. Almost everyone has a free Zoom account.
What do you dislike about the product?
The time limitations of the free account, but that's understandable. They can't be giving away their services for free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a consulting company and do a lot of meetings with clients who are on the low end of the technologically savvy spectrum. They aren't good at figuring out interfaces and new software unless it's very simple. Zoom meets this low barrier for clients very well. It does video conferencing and screen sharing in a simple interface really well.
Great tool to conduct remote business
What do you like best about the product?
Everyone is familiar with how to use Zoom as a result of the pandemic. I used to use Skype but nobody can every remember their loggin.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is always frustrating when there are connectivity issues. That is more of an issue with the internet provider though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows me to conduct business remotely and to record conversations to be released as a podcast.
Makes life easier.
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to work from home and speak with people all over the world
What do you dislike about the product?
I am not sure I understand all the features so I think I could be getting more out of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work out of house and it helps to look people in the eyes when we talk.
Zooming through meetings
What do you like best about the product?
It's user friendly and well designed. It has a solid UX/UI setup. I also thoroughly enjoy the ability to use the whiteboard and collaborate with team members and the breakout rooms are helpful as well
What do you dislike about the product?
It only lets you know it needs to update right before a meeting and doesn't let you wait until after the meeting. This is a huge issue that has repeatedly delayed meetings
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves lots of problems but the main one it solves for me currently is the ability to quickly and conveniently communicate with multiple business partners throughout the day.
A great tool that increased my reach and sales during COVID
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use
The user-friendly software
The reports I can generate after the meeting
Harvest participants' email addresses for follow up
The universal reach even into demographics that often shy away from technology (and the internet.)

What do you dislike about the product?
Confirmation does not include the day of the week, only the date and time.
More and more the software is geared toward big business, leaving single-practitioners or small businesses feeling marginalized
The option for a webinar is too expensive. It gives no flexibility when it comes to the size of the audience or low frequency.
Tutorials do not help address all questions--or take too long to try to find an answer.
No for-pay option of tech support per case.
Why is an AOL address not considered a business address when their filing system is still way above the quality of others?

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a novelist whose book tour was halted by COVID. Instead, moving to Zoom, I ended up with HUNDREDS more appearances in areas to which I would not have been traveling.
My experience using Zoom has been a game changer.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Zoom is the convenience. I like the fact that meetings can be spontaneous and I can share information visually with my meeting participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most annoying thing about Zoom is the background noise from a participant that can be distracting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has helped me to meet with a large group of people at one time to disseminate information. Also, it eliminates the need to spend on travel which saves us money.
If you need video conferencing, Zoom is ideal.
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, it just works. Everyone is able to connect, there is very little latency, and it is very reasonably priced. Aside from some nebulous policies, I haven't had any issues with them whatsoever.
What do you dislike about the product?
The application selection is limited. I understand that it is mostly for business, but I'd like to see a lot more.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can connect with anyone, anytime and either do podcast interviews, business meetings, or whatever needs done. Everyone seems to have it installed and if not it installs quickly or they can use the web client.
Most Essential Work From Home Tool
What do you like best about the product?
All in one stop shop. We can talk, collaborate, see expressions and even multi-task at the same time. A great way to see colleagues and clients when you're not in the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes up a lot more bandwidth than other video communication programs and oftentimes makes my internet connection unstable. Would be great to reduce the power but keep the level of quality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being face to face with colleagues and clients all over the country. As a remote, start-up, this is essential to our success and how we will grow. It also allows us to collaborate without being in person.
