Virtual Experience to connect people and places far away
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can set up my zoom class to meet my needs. I have a password set up and then I can connect my music and get ready. If I am not ready I can have participants in a waiting room. when I am ready I disable the waiting room and people can join in when they are ready.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could the mic wouldn't get drowned out during my class. For example, I can have my music playing and still be able to speak and be heard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting with people that do not live in my city. It has allowed me to reach a wider scope of participants.
Frequent zoom user for business and pleasure!
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to do breakout rooms when doing zoom trainings and sharing screens.
What do you dislike about the product?
That I cannot see more than 4 participants when sharing my screen -- would li option to make my view of shared screen smaller, like participants/others watching can do so I can see at least 10 people, for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Avoiding COVID! Allowing remote meetings (my nonprofit used zoom to meet with colleagues on East Coast and Texas prior to the pandemic). Since the pandemic started we have used it for all meetings and many trainings. I also meet with private clients over zoom -- next best thing to in person.
A great choice for coordination and efficient planning
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom Is a very user-friendly application that is easy to use but also packed with features for those who need additional security or audience participation. It has been an invaluable tool since the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to be improved today with its simple design.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I would consider a downside of Zoom is the lack of an option to choose a preset name from a list of you are joining a meeting. For example, your Zoom login may have your name as John Doe, but if you were to join another meeting and needed to go by John Doe (Administrator), there isn't a way to choose that option without manually typing in the new name every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom Is able to make the gathering of information easy for the host. A poll can be conducted without verbal feedback from the participants. This allows participants to be connected to the meeting even if less than ideal conditions are available, such as excessive noise or not having a webcam available.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can meet with anyone, even if they don't have a Webcam. I like that I can meet with people virtually without giving out my personal number. Zoom is really convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how unstable the connection can be. I don't like the audio quality when you play music during your call. It's not a good user experience to change the settings to allow music with your call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to meet with people from all over the world while keeping me safe and healthy at home. Zoom allows me to make more connections.
Using Zoom in Dangerous Haiti to Present Safely
What do you like best about the product?
Our organization is able to connect stimulating speakers from around the world with audiences in Haiti who have little opportunity to hear from others outside their neighborhood, much less their country.
What do you dislike about the product?
Personal contact has its own value but sometimes the risks outweigh the benefit. Such is the case with Haiti currently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Zoom to present stimulating Bible seminars to groups in Haiti. Haiti has a Red Level 4 "Do not travel" State Department warning due to violent gang activity and kidnapping in the country. We've Zoomed in a speaker from South Africa and one from Los Angeles in the last couple of months for an audiences of 25 and 100-plus. Q and A sessions also worked perfectly. In one case we tethered our Haiti based computer to a mobile phone to connect to the internet and everything still worked flawlessly. (Pictures available). We benefit by sharing stimulating presentations to an audience that is largely cut off from the rest of the world.
Zoom Should Be the Industry Standard
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is intuitive and easy to utilize. When thinking of a program for video conferencing, it is the first program to deliver everything that one would need without the unnecessary clutter that other programs use to draw in users.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the scheduling portion of the program has confused me; however, once you understand what each setting does, it becomes more straightforward. Another issue I have found exists not only within Zoom but in other programs is when it does not automatically log users in. I have found that using a link without actually logging into the program will not establish you as the host needed to moderate some of the settings, such as sharing one's screen. The program allows you to remain online while it logs in, so it is an easy fix; however, it can sometimes be frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom, in my opinion, became the industry standard from day one of Covid. It became such a vital tool to continue communication with team members when no one could sit around a table, hold meetings in person, or visit with family. Zoom established a quick and easy way to provide interaction in a seemingly friendly way without the need for an extensive understanding of technology.

Zoom has the flexibility to allow for multiple meeting rooms, screen sharing, Polls, and whiteboards. I use it for clients from many countries, and for meetings that span the globe. New features added often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to see and interact with people from all over the world in my work, and benefits me in allowing me to share graphics, tools and techniques, and multi-media presentations.

What do you like best about the product?
Live transcription, ability to control virtual backgrounds with ease, pronoun entry, admin controls for site-wide changes, and the continuity of service when streaming.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm a fan of Zoom more than other platforms. I think the disappointment tends to be around when you are sharing the screen how easy it is to find the sharing bar.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is connecting my team with ease and with meaningful integrations to schedule meetings within Outlook and to get people from anywhere into the same meeting space.
A needed tool for all entrepreneurs
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom can hold many people in the same space, on camera, and record it. It's pretty amazing. I also LOVE the feature through screen share for remote access!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like the ability to put pictures in the chat (not a function on mobile at least.) And if recordings could come with a transcript and and subtitles.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are solving business and clients being able to meet no matter what which is perfect for my business since my clients are global.
Efficient way to equip and empower teammates.
What do you like best about the product?
The main thing that I like about the features of Zoom is the recording via local drive or cloud. I can access the recording anytime, anywhere. As. far as trying out other options is concerned, it's only Zoom that provides these excellent features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The meeting that is deleted from my schedule if it's not indicated as recurrent. I think it's better to leave the option to the user if he/she wants to delete it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously, before the pandemic, we would only have meetings that are onsite, but now, thanks to the technology and Zoom, we're able to have meetings online or hybrid.
