Zoom is amazing

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Zoom is really efficient, and in an era of technology, Zoom fulfills all the requirements. Whether it be for a meeting, teaching a class, or just chatting with friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mostly Zoom checks all my boxes. I would say too many subscriptions, and also the pricing is a bit high. There is also a lack of comment control. And sometimes there are glitches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After Covid, many people looked for an alternative for many things, and Zoom was the answer to many of those problems. Through Zoom, I could continue my job, meetings, volunteering with kids, and staying caught up with friends and family.

What do you like best about the product?
Almost everyone is familiar with it. Feels like the GM of video calling/conferencing. And it works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just learned that we can't hide the list of people who receive an invitation to a meeting/webinar. Don't like that at all. Really need to have that option -- because some of our participants don't WANT to be bothered by other participants.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) Being able to see one another face to face; (2) Being able to plan and conduct group meetings or webinars at VERY LOW COST without technical support beyond what we have internally.

Communicating with ease during pandemic times

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use. I like that they took the effort to increase their security posture to help the growing masses that use the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like to 40min restriction, but then again its free right?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
they have a lot of problems especially on the security side but I think they are addressing it by giving users the option to do fast updating to fix issues and bugs on their application.

Zoom is the easiest meeting/screen sharing/family get together program anywhere

What do you like best about the product?
Everybody knows the name, and almost everyone has used it, so it's familiar. I almost never have issues getting someone in the meeting through an invite or link, and my internet speed has been the only source of slowdown.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know it's for my security, but needing either a password or other form of login is a little much for those less computer litterate or on a mobile device.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a Realtor that works with clients moving from other states to AZ. Zoom allows me to meet with them and let them put a face to my name and vice versa. It is so much better than an empty voice at the other end of a phone call.

Great app to train remotely

What do you like best about the product?
Since the pandemic, I've worked remotely and it's been so helpful to train new employees with the aid of Zoom and having the ability to share my screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any issues. I also do virtual Zumba classes and sharing music is so easy and the quality is so good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me mostly with allowing me to train my employees. I can make them co-host and they can share their screen and show me their progress as well. I work for a food distribution and I have to check the orders of people on training and the sharing of the screen has been perfect. I also love the ability to mute and unmute myself. So if I have to have a conversation with another manager, I can mute myself so that the employee in training doesn't hear me. Also with Zumba, muting everyone makes the class run smoothly without any outside noise.

Efficient Video Conference Calling

What do you like best about the product?
I fully appreciate how smoothly the program runs, even across different platforms and operating systems. I personally have only ever experienced clear video picture and audio sound quality. These remain consistent regardless of my internet speed or even device. There are also many ways to tailor the conference call experience, like giving and taking away muting permissions, having a waiting room, having breakout rooms, and more. It's a program that can be customized to suit the need and nature of any conference call.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any application or program, there is going to be a bit of a learning curve to understand and become familiar with the interface. ZOOM, while still intuitive, does have a steeper initial learning curve than some of its other video conference call competitors. ZOOM offers many options and initially has quite a few prompts that require the user to have some technological know-how. That being said, the target demographic is for business and academic professionals, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue; however, for the Everyman, the interface isn't as intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom offers a practical way to have lager-scale online meetings. I've used Zoom for meetings with over 400 participants and we were able to organize the crowd effectively — from a streamlined way to invite people regardless of device, operating system, or if they even have the program downloaded or if they don't have a Zoom account.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the best about Zoom is the ease of use for people who are not so computer savvy
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish recorded Zoom could be in higher resolution video
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many older people or immune compromised people at church who still are not coming to in person fellowship. The ability to fellowship on Zoom keeps them tied into church.

Great place to meet

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been a Godsend for active ministry to teens, especially during the Covid pandemic. It was a strong antidote to the relational loneliness during lockdowns.
What do you dislike about the product?
We ran into some glitches when hosting a large group, just managing the group. That probably was more a function of the learning curve than the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pulling together leadership meetings across large distances. What did take time for driving for some no longer does.

Perfect service for clinicians

What do you like best about the product?
The connection is stable and secure which I need for meeting patients. I also like how easy it is to schedule appointments that integrate with Google Calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like more background options with animation such as trees blowing in the wind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped cut down on missed appointments. That makes my practice more profitable and is more convenient for patients.

Essential tool for online classes

What do you like best about the product?
I use zoom primarily to teach classes online. The multiple whiteboards are very helpful. It's easy to share videos, photos and power points. Sometimes it's even better than in-person classes.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a slight lag between when you speak and when people hear it. It's probably not Zoom's fault, but it is a nuisance that you have to get used to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach adult ed classes and now I can teach groups in other states and time zones which never would have been possible before.
