The future is here

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom eliminates borders and allows people to connect all over the world! I love that we can record meetings and easily share them with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike about Zoom, maybe the audio quality as it is hard to hear some people, depending on their internet strength as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows us to have staff meetings even if some people cannot be physically present. We also now offer online training sessions over zoom for clients who cannot come into the facility.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to record meetings and download to my computer is very valuable and user-friendly. It's easier on zoom than other video programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am unable to use specific microphones and record in zoom at the same time. Zoom does not recognize certain equipment to use while recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect with individuals from all over the country that without zoom, I would not be able to talk to and connect with as easily.

Great meeting app

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it easy to schedule meetings with both internal and external recipients. It is also easy to join meetings as as subscriber.
What do you dislike about the product?
Competition of other platforms. With other players in the market it seems like everyone wants an app to download although you can use a browser experience. The browser experince just does not seem to be as robust.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us connect to our customers and vendors without having the expense of travel. It is also useful to use video calls for better engagement rather than old conf calls where people can tune out of the conversation.

Zoom gets you in the business opportunities with one click

What do you like best about the product?
I am loving the interface. easy to operate. I appreciate zoom quality of the voice transfer. The online conference is awesome. Zoom crashes competitors by ease of use and options to interact
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes is pricy for entrepreneurs because of the massive amount of options the platform has. They should offer a less pricy interface with fewer options to choose
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps me to make international video calls any time everywhere. A lot of benefits but the biggest one is the integration with other apps and systems as well as cloud integration

    Architecture & Planning

Generally good

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most people are familiar. Relatively easy to use. Chat, recording, screen sharing is useful. Generally video/audio quality is better than most other conferencing platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to find settings. Can't change some settings during a meeting (e.g. transcription, save chat, breakout rooms). There are so many admin settings that it can be hard to find what's needed (e.g. polling/surveys, reports, breakout rooms, capacity limits etc). A lot of variation between plans on what's available to use can make collaboration difficult (e.g. using a client's account). Differences in what users see make it difficult to point people to things like raise hands, annotations etc. Alerts like for breakout rooms and raising hand are not prominent enough. Polling is very limited in terms of number/type of questions. Would be nice to have more integration into chat like voting up/down chats. Can be hard in a big meeting to find chats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Meeting remotely. Need a platform to meet with clients in a remote environment. Need to run workshops, presentations, conferencing, 1:1s etc. Not sure what else to say.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and reliable. I find it very easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the connection is choppy but that may have to do with internet speeds, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage all my client meetings by Zoom that I would hold in person. I was able to get rid of my office and just work from home.

Zoom Is Great

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is the easiest-to-use video conferencing service out there. The fact that people joining in don't need to create an account or install an app is key to accessibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
The friend function of Zoom is clunky. It would be great is Zoom supported user profiles so connecting with contacts ad hoc would be easy like Apple's Facetime.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to connect with large organizations remotely and with ease; Collaborative screen sharing and presentation is much easier to manage vs competitors; improvement w/ remote productivity.

Lots of features, easy to use, an industry standard

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user-friendly and has a variety of features that make it a more well-rounded product than some of its competitors. The layout options during a call give users the flexibility to customize their experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to be able to be added as a co-host of a meeting without being on a pro/paid plan. Sharing of files/links in the chat section of a live meeting is a bit tedious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom provides an option for remote meetings with easy registration, scheduling, and hosting of the meetings. Especially during 2020, Zoom because widely-known and used, and so it is easy to get guests to join meetings, as most everyone is now registered to use it.

Amazing (imperfect) tool

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is an amazing tool - it provides the ability to instantly connect with people from all over the world. Easy to jump into a meeting and use the platform, and has proven invaluable for business as well as social functions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software has become increasingly unstable over the years - as someone who uses Zoom to train groups of up to 200 agents at the same time, it's panic-inducing when the software crashes during a screen share and kicks me out of the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The increased costs for business travel and the changing post-Covid world has made Zoom an invaluable tool for conducting business in a way that is cheap, fast, and convenient for everyone.

Experiencing Zoom

  • August 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to conduct meetings and programs virtually, as well as attend those same meetings and programs without having to travel.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom use relies on Internet connection, which can be spotty at times and in certain areas. It also requires the device being used to connect have both audio and video capability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to be able to continue connecting with patrons who do not want to or cannot be exposed to large numbers of people in an indoor setting--specifically during a pandemic. Zoom has been a life-saver in that regard.
