For entrepreneurs, zoom is your best friend

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature of zoom is the recording feature. As an entrepreneur, I take a lot of sales and business calls, and I really do not remember all of them, that's why zoom recording is my partner in everything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if this happens to everyone, but every time I turn off my laptop, I need to log in again even if my account is remembered by the device I'm using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Taking down notes! With zoom integrations, I am able to connect a transcription software to our account and that allows zoom to take down notes automatically and I don't even have to worry about it.

Zoom For Business

What do you like best about the product?
it is helpful that zoom is integrated with lots of other scheduling tools such as Calendly Its also great to capture content and connect with our clients we host group coaching calls weekly and sometimes we do breakout sessions and it is super helpful to have those features when running a coaching and consulting business.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the downsides to zoom it the blurred background feature it can get to be a little weird looking at times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
the integrations has help solve the issue of no shows we have a higher amount of people actually showing up to their scheduled calls because we can link zoom to our calendly accounts which sends a reminder for the meetings

Zoom was the only reason we could continue educating our students during the pandemic

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user friendly and was easy to train students, parents and our employees how to use it. We quickly learned how to use the features and best of all, they kept updating and tweaking to make it more efficient to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that it only gave you 40 minutes of uninterrupted access was a little inconvenient but after we subscribed this issue was resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to be able to teach my students and give instruction to my students. Since we were in a lockdown, zoom was the only way for us to have students in class, observe and guide them.

Absolutely essential tool!

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is an essential tool in both my personal and professional lives. When the pandemic began, I began using Zoom to "visit" with out-of-state family and friends. After years of settling for phone calls, text and emails, I can't explain how incredible it was to transition to Zoom calls. Nothing compares to the ability to see one another, to share laughs and tell stories face-to-face. Our family is in a variety of states and countries, so when the holidays came around, Zoom allowed us all to gather together, see each others faces (Gallery view) and feel togetherness that just cannot be felt on a phone call.

On the professional side, I'm a busy Realtor and I use Zoom to have meetings with prospective and current clients. Clients feel more comfortable and assured when they can see their agents face as they discuss their options. Zoom beats traditional and modern forms of communication like phone calls and texts. Nothing can compare to the ability to see each other!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is when blurring the background, it often blurs my ears out as well. I'm sure it's hard to outline a moving person and blur everything else. It's a small thing, but it's hard to be taken seriously when you have no ears!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's important for my clients to feel connected to me. When relying on text messages, all sense of connection is lost. It's impersonal and cold. Zoom takes those communications and makes them more personal, making my clients feel more assured in their decisions. It's also very easy to have misunderstandings when texting or emailing. When someone can see your face, you can convey the message YOU want to convey and make sure nothing is 'lost in translation'.

Remote Teaching to Adult Learners

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is that people can easily connect from anwhere with a good internet connection. I have students who are thousands of miles from me, and from each other.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the quality of the user experience on mobile/tablets was better. While I prefer that they are on a larger screen, sometimes it is just not an option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to keep my Real Estate School Education contract after moving from Alaska to Kansas. Being able to connect with students and do an entire weekend session online has been a great fit for me, and for many of my students who would not be able to attend in-person classes.

Simply the best video conferencing tool around

What do you like best about the product?
I've used pretty much every video conferencing tool available and Zoom is simply...better. The UI is easy to use and understand and the learning curve is minimal for anyone who uses another system. Along with my "day job" I also pay for a license for myself because the tool's ability are so much less buggy than the free tool provided by Google.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit of a resource hog and, on my personal license, I can't seem to disable some of the security features which make it easier for people to join. Otherwise it's great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication acrosss large, distrubuted groups of people.

Easy and affordable

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and ubiquitous Zoom now is for nearly everyone on the Internet.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not very versatile as far as bells and whistles on my chrome OS. No special backgrounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom connects me to clients too far away to meet in person. Zoom saves me cancelled appointments for travel and minor disruptions.

Finally a consistent meeting and video calling platform

What do you like best about the product?
Very consistent call quality and video quality, coupled with top notch meeting and screensharing utilities like remote control, polling and breakout. We used WebEx and GoToMeeting in the past and they were both riddled with call connectivity and video issues that we haven't seen with Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally very high CPU usage with video on but haven't seen any significant issues as a result.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As we have gone remote, just about all of our internal team meetings are conducted on Zoom. Zoom has helped us to team build, integrate new team members and ensure departments and teams do not get siloed. Beyond that, we use it for most of our sales presentations and product demonstrations.

An Essential Business App

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom helps us quickly get online and gather folks for a conversation, whether formal or informal. We can see each other in real-time, despite distances and keep up to date with one another easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom can only be helpful when we are all able to log in at the same time, sometimes it is difficult to share log in information and there are times when traveling especially when the connections are not as good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is a work from home order that happened during the pandemic became permanent and work from anywhere. How can we keep working collaboratively when we are separated by miles and time zones? Zoom is the answer.

Excellent Option for All Online Meetings

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to get a meeting launched - no fussy steps for hosts OR participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
The few times that it glitches, it does so badly. Usually a meeting restart is required which can be very problematic but fortunately, those times are rare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to schedule meetings on demand with so much less back and forthing is a HUGE time saver and optimizer. I am also able to fit more meetings into my schedule since there's no travel time. It lets me have "face to face" meetings with people who are still socially distancing. Being able to record the meetings is a HUGE plus. Screen sharing makes in the moment experiences possible. Frankly, as easy as it is to conduct business with Zoom, returning to pre-Zoom methods really aren't all that attractive!
