Zoom makes Virtual Connections Quick and Easy

What do you like best about the product?
The Simplicity of the software is easy to learn and use for both host and users. The pricing is economical and you can have greater saving purchasing an anual plan and even add-on features when necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love if I could add users/other hosts who didn't have a paid plan for themselves, as some of my team members need to host sessions at times but they have to get a paid version to be invited to host with me
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem that is being solved is that I don't have to be in a physical location with the people I am servicing, Zoom allows me to to save on cost, and time and extends my reach to places that would not be a possibility because of cost and time.

My Business Depends On Zoom

What do you like best about the product?
That I have a secure, reliable connection. And, honestly, the whiteboard is very important to how I do business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no real complaints. My only challenges are the typical challenges that come with technology - like weather influences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to have an exclusively virtual business, in the healthcare industry.

Indispensable business tool

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a robust video meeting tool. I have been using it for my coaching business since 2017, and I couldn't do my work without it. Along with an easy way for my clients to share their screens with me, they can record our sessions to their own computer, meaning I no longer need to record and send them a copy. Also, I LOVE being able to annotate their screens when sharing. It has made a BIG difference in my ability to effectively walk my clients through various actions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since I started using it professionally, there have been many updates and upgrades to the zoom experience, so my list of dislikes gets smaller all the time. I would like to be able to annotate on a phone or tablet screen but that is not an available feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to walk my clients through different actions while on their OWN computers and with their own accounts is HUGE for me. Zoom allows my clients to get hands-on practice while I am able to watch their actions and guide them through it all.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easily accessible by everyone with either a cell phone, tablet or computer. I have always had perfect picture and sound. Closed captions are very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the closed captions are not accurate and I work with a lot of deaf and hard-of-hearing persons. I don't know how this would be improved except by increasing the grammar and accent capabilities of the app used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach music to children in schools throughout the state of Florida through zoom. This is an income for me and saves money, time and wear and tear on the car. It also makes music classes available to students with special learning needs. They would not get these valuable lessons otherwise.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been an incredible all around tool for communication both before the pandemic, during, and after. It has been an invaluable tool to connect with distant colleagues. There is no other tool that can compete.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom is a high quality tool, I can think of no dealbreakers on this software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use zoom to connect teams in different physical locations. It allows all teams to feel connected and work. It's ideal for those times when an email just won't cut it.

Great and reliable, easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very intuitive, and easy to use. I consider myself a beginner - to -intermediate user in terms of software and new communication platforms, and I'm very resistant to change. It was easy to move a lot of my comms to Zoom, and I've also used it for other items like recording, producing podcasts, and job interviews. Everyone also knows how to use it; so I don't encounter a lot of problems when sharing links or inviting people for a call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Zoom glitches and it would cause problems with important calls. I had two calls last week alone, that had glitches and we had to reschedule. The integration with Google calendar works great, but not all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a really easy to use communication/ calling platform and it integrates well with the calendar most of the time. It's not hard to learn even if you're a newbie, so that contributes to productivity even for new hires. It's been really useful during the pandemic, too, when a lot of people moved to work remotely.

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many tools available with Zoom that are not available with other online platforms. Screen share and annotations are the tools I use most frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know if this is an option with Zoom, but I have wished to be able to share both my screen and the Zoom whiteboard at the same time. However, I acknowledge that a split screen share option might be available, but I just haven't figured it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of Zoom, I am able to teach students across the world. This has made my business international and accessible to any student with access to the internet.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we can get Zoom bombed by outsiders, but that has decreased recently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. My organization meets on line because we are all over the country. Everyone knows how to use Zoom now and it is easy to get everyone together once a month. Chat rooms are great, breakout rooms are wonderful, etc.
2. I also use it for virtual learning because the student lives out of state. Zoom is great to use because the connectivity is fabulous.
3. We use it for religious services so people don't have to be in person.

Easy and essential video conferencing

What do you like best about the product?
Easy and reliable web and app based video conferencing across multiple platforms. Everybody we work with now knows how to use it. I like that it has a desktop and also a phone based interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface for setting up immediate, urgent videocalls, that were not scheduled in advance, should be easier and intuitive. When we have very urgent matters that require immediate attention we tend to use video calls on WhatsApp or Facetime, because they are so easy to initiate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working with very tight product development timelines and the video calls allow us to troubleshoot challenges during the prototype development cycle quickly.
