Connecting beyond the Pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
It has supported me during the pandemic to continue to do my job seamlessly when work from home was mandatory. However, even as the pandemic has eased, I still use zoom a ton.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom fatigue is a real thing. It is hard using zoom for certain types of meetings or if used too frequently. Having to attend full day webinars or conferences on zoom is hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I can work a hybrid model and work from home some days because zoom allows me to stay connected to anyone. We also have multiple sites all over the city that used to require travel but now zoom can step in as a solution.
Zoom is an invaluable tool for our business.

Video clarity is pretty good. Usually if the video is not clear disabling HD usually does the trick.

The audio quality can be better. I have tested other solutions with the same hardware and it seems the audio quality with Zoom is a little inferior.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps us in this new remote world. It helps us seem less my collaborate across the country and times zones.
Quick and easy - simple to use
What do you like best about the product?
We've been using Zoom since the beginning of the pandemic to help host online webinars and we chose to use this platform because it was one of the easiest to just plug and play. The user experience was straightforward and very intuitive to navigate what you need. It was easy to set up a webinar in moments with all the details and some simple customizable features. We didn't have to worry about the client experience because it was very easy for someone to just join. We didn't spend time on the whole account setup and we could focus on the content of our webinars and meetings.
Additionally, it's great that the sessions can be recorded, saved, and downloaded later.

What do you dislike about the product?
The features could be too limiting at times. We wanted some fully customizable branded pages for our webinars. The pricing plan wasn't flexible enough to meet our needs. Our webinars ranged from a few dozen focused sessions or up to almost multiple hundreds of registrants. The more we used Zoom the more we would like more customization options but it wasn't 100% necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom connects us with our clients and potential customers navigating through a pandemic. It's the fastest way to create video content with meaningful interactions.
Easy To Use as 1-2-3
What do you like best about the product?
It saves my meetings so that I can easily join. The interface during the meeting is well laid out and easy to use. I like the fact that i can chat privately during a meeting as long as the meeting owner allows it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have experienced thus far is that it seems to use a lot of bandwidth and it is not always easy to copy the chat notes. This may be related to the meeting owner settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to connect with client and friends all over the world with ease. Seeing them face to face is much more effective than using a phone or audio device. I have been using it to meet with my coach for the past two years.
Reliable, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I love Zoom's integrations because they make it really seamless to communicate, especially since I work remotely full-time. Compared to other platforms I've tried out, Zoom also seems more reliable. Honestly, I also appreciate the video filters.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had some experiences with bugs. The most frustrating one has been an inability to use the transcript feature. It was something that my IT department couldn't figure out, and Zoom support never fixed for me either. I ended up leaving that company and have a new account so it's no longer an issue.

It makes it simple to communicate face-to-face while working remotely.
One of the best software to use
What do you like best about the product?
I like how accessible it is and how you can connect with other individuals. Great for teaching. One of the best features is the breakout rooms. I honestly did not hear about other competitors but I'm sure they have nothing on zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the 40 minute time limit for 1v1 meetings was a pain. I was dealing with financial insecurity due to covid and could not host my meetings at the time I needed to due to it, even if it it's just 1v1
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me reach another audience in regard to meetings. Due to covid a lot of restraints have been placed on meeting individuals and holding webinars but zoom makes it easier.
Overall, a great experience that clients and contacts understand and can use.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful features about Zoom, for me, are that it tends to be more stable than other programs I have used, and that everyone I communicate with, including new clients and prospects, understands how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the interface somewhat cumbersome for transferring the host of meetings and sharing information. I would like to have more, and easier, options for making someone the host in the middle of a meeting (such as when a meeting runs long and others want to stay but I need to leave).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My job depends upon me being able to reach out to a wide variety of people with varying degrees of tech savvy and carry off smooth meetings that are not interrupted or made awkward by technical glitches or software other parties don't possess or know about.
Easy to use and reliable communication tool
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is cost-effective and extremely simple to use. It requires little bandwidth so even when having to meet using a mobile device with poor cellular signal, it is a reliable method of communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom doesn't support Full HD / 1080p video for regular tiered plans. More apparent alerts that the Zoom desktop application needs to be updated would be helpful - sometimes if a user is using an outdated version it can cause issues without them being aware of the reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A quick meeting scheduling tool. Able to conduct internal and external business easily from any location. Due to the popularity, it is likely other meeting participants have used Zoom and are familiar with it already.
How the Pandemic led to LOVE ZOOM
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of ZOOM to me is the ability to add a password to my rooms. The best part of this is I can change them daily. I have not used other competitors. There is not need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that I cannot have different camera layouts for when I have guests come on is probably the only thing that I can think of that I dislike about zoom. More templates for video layouts would be awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the pandemic I decided to dip my toe into the world of LIVE video podcasting. This would not have been possible without the features and functions of ZOOM.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is that Zoom is easy to use, even my older and less tech-savvy students have no problems navigating the service.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video quality is a bit lacking. I wish that the quality was high enough to use the recordings for a video library.

Zoom is part of solving problems around telecommuting and telehealth.
