What do you like best about the product?
The quality of video chat. I like the touch-up function Zoom provides. Also it is easy to create a break room for group discussion.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. The pricing for individual users. 2. Whenever I sent people a meeting link, I have to copy/paste it from "Copy Invitation." Wonder if you could have a personalized link that customers can tailor it to their own version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I teach courses online and in-person. I also conduct research with collaborators all over the country. Zoom is very helpful in making us connected and doesn't require a lot of learning in using the app. A simple click on the link allows others to join the meeting without downloading any software or re-configuring your computer.

The best way to connect with clients from all over the States and the world at one time

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Almost like in-person interaction, visual feedback is so much better than just spoken or emailed words. People are now very familiar with using Zoom and feel more comfortable in the Zoom environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a relatively strong internet connection. Participants will often freeze or disappear. It would be great if less bandwidth were required to run it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This allows for immediate interaction with people from around the world and US clients in a face-to-face environment. Meeting in person would be almost impossible and extremely expensive.

Great product for the new workplace

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to join a conference call from anywhere. I especially like the ability to reach out to others on calls privately to connect through chat. I find breakout rooms a great place to get to know partners during larger calls
What do you dislike about the product?
Accidentally leaving your mic on. This is user error. But SO many people do it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe Zoom calls heighten productivity and keep people focused. It has allowed our staff to work remotely and still be connected to partners and other staff. I also see the community we serve benefitting from large zoom calls. Many of our constituents are small business owners who cannot attend community meetings. Zoom allows for greater participation.

Easy, effective and reliable.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has always made its platform easy to figure out and use. Even with updates, navigating anything new doesn't take a lot of time and has always been seamless. My team and I also appreciate the reliability of the program. We had started using Zoom for meetings well before the pandemic and as everyone started meeting online I was concerned that the program would not be able to handle the impact. I was wrong. Yes, Zoom had to make some rapid updates, but the impact to me as a daily user was minimal and for that, I was very thankful. I also watch my husband having to use alternate software for his work and the quality is never the same as my own experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only detail that I wish was easier (or maybe I just don't know how yet) would be to allow the user to connect an already existing recurring zoom meeting to an already existing calendar event. I can go in, edit the meeting and link the two that way, but somehow it feels clunky or less streamlined than many other features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with clients and colleagues all over the world. Zoom has made connecting with others easier than picking up the phone. As a small business owner, I also am the one to navigate all of the technology systems that my company uses, and as a non-tech savvy individual, I appreciate how well Zoom integrates with all parts of my company.

A fantastic program to connect, teach, share, and learn.

What do you like best about the product?
I like having control over microphone and video, and all the many features (hard to choose as they work in tandem!)
What do you dislike about the product?
I really can't think of anything I dislike personally. Some people I work with have complained that even though they change the settings, they still show up with their camera "off" when they first join the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to work remotely while living in the country. Because of how convenient Zoom is, I have moved my practice (psychotherapy) entirely online permanently.

Zoom allows meetings to happen from virtually anyway, allowing us to all be more productive.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to meet with anyone, anywhere. I have been able to meet with individuals and groups from all over the US now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the audio lags and that gets very frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So many meetings that required travel and now happening at home or in my office. The savings in both time and financially is amazing.

What do you like best about the product?
I can quickly schedule and meet with clients all on the same platform
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! It's been quite useful for the duration I've had it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling meetings

A useful tool for bridging great distances.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can control who's able to share their screen, the ability to record, and that I can schedule meetings in advance. I appreciate that I can change backgrounds as well, in order to hide my setting.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like there have been security problems that led to a few instances of Zoom bombing. I *REALLY* dislike the fact that every time I log into Zoom on my personal account, I have to confirm that I'm using Google. Then, when I share a meeting to my calendar, I have to AGAIN confirm that I'm using Google. Every. F---ing. Time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to bring people into my meetings from other parts of the country. I run an entrepreneurs group and a writers group, and in both groups, I've been able to bring in speakers from three time zones away.

I prefer Zoom over the other platforms I've tried

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is very easy to use and it offers a lot of integrations. I use it mostly for sales calls with customers. It's very simple to set up and easy for my prospects to respond to and participate in sales calls with me. I also use Go To Meeting and don't consider that as easy and seamless, and Microsoft Teams is just clunky to me. I would say the video quality is about equal between Zoom and GTM but the video quality of Zoom is better in my experience than Google Meet.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall the platform works well but I find the drawing tools less intuitive than Go To Meeting's. Once I got used to it, it was fine but it took me a while to even find it. To be honest I didn't look very hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can have multiple client meetings per day with people all over the country. Because Zoom is so ubiquitous, everybody understands how it works and there's no "credibility gap" when you say you're sending a Zoom invite. Better, because it's integrated with my booking solution (Book Like a Boss) and my calendar (Google Calendar), the meetings are created and entered into my calendar automatically when someone books an appointment with me on my landing page. I have no involvement; it just shows up on the calendar (I have default alerts set so I have plenty of notice). Basically, Zoom and the other tools I use have allowed me to eliminate cold calling and driving around in person so I can make far better use of my time.

intuitive, easy, & reliable all while being system agnostic

  • August 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The system is fairly intuitive and thus easy for infrequent users to get right and because it works well on mobile, it reduces stress around having to stick by my desk for an odd time connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
I get a little confused at times with the security settings around screen sharing and participant admission, but otherwise very few complaints or issues of concern.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The demonstrative ability to 'show' a vendor, client, or prospect exactly what we are working on has been a huge benefit to our product growth and customer adoption.
