What do you like best about the product?
What I like best is Zoom being user-friendly. Other platforms have too many steps and can get a little frustrating to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Zoom would work with Instagram to be able to stream live like you can with Facebook and YouTube. It would make branding and connectivity that much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the issue of taking the guesswork out of using a virtual meeting platform. It also continues to safeguard private zooms which is appreciated by nonprofits who may support culturally sensitive missions.

A versatile platform for meeting needs

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the features allow me to do what I need to do for my meetings. I love the breakout feature and the ability to customize settings for each meeting that I am in.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Zoom is trying to track its participants. For this reason, we aren't allowed to use Zoom at work, so we have to use different platforms or meet in person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to meet with my staff at different locations without having to travel from site to site. It also allows for more flexibility in meetings with people on the spot. Before hand, we would have to arrange for meetings or settle for a phone call which doesn't always get the point across.

Use for meetings and livestream

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use - if you provide the links then even people with minimal technical skills can participate. It has good stability. I've used several other hosting programs that are very inconsistent and don't have the same features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sound is a little wonky on Livestream when using instruments (piano, keyboard, organ). Human voice works just fine, it's the instruments (and I guess the singing that cause issues with the sound). I know there is the option to use original sound but I don't know which works better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helpful for having a secure/safe environment to logon - people can share in the chat and it is not public. It's a great way to host meetings without being physically together and keep people connected.

Zoom into Better Coaching/Consulting Options

What do you like best about the product?
When meeting new clients, it's almost as good as being in person. Infallible thus far - sound and video quality are consistent!
What do you dislike about the product?
When inviting someone to a meeting, the invites are unattractive and long. Would love to personalize this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can coach my clients via Zoom with an easy invite, set-up of session regardless of where they are. And the learning curve thus fr hasn't been steep.

What do you like best about the product?
Super user friendly! Screen sharing and comment on the sidebar has been a great tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to login again if I use in my laptop and the. Go to desktop .... sometimes I forget the time needed to login again if I bounce back from different devices when hosting. Otherwise, I'm always satisfied.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fewer in person meetings - allowing a more flexible schedule for various connections since we can do early/late. Also ability to connect from diff regions.

Zoom does everything I want simply.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing is the ease of navigation while using the platform. The icons are clear and easy to access. There is no bar across the middle of the screen that someone has to remove. The most helpful aspect of Zoom is the fact that no one has to install it other than the host, which makes it very usable by those who are less technically-oriented that some.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything that I dislike and I compared it to a number of other apps available and simply found it the best for my purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has made it easier to teach courses as people find it more flexible to schedule classroom sessions than having to travel. It has reduced the anxiety about being confined in a classroom with strangers whose health status is uncertain.
Zoom has made meetings much more enjoyable -- travel time is much reduced and the mileage payments have been eliminated enabling our organizations to put more money into direct programming and less into administration.
Zoom has also enabled me to stay in touch with family who are hesitant about travelling with COVID still lurking about.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to set up. Our users are able to access the links, tools and more. Abilty to make groups, assign users to them in different formats was a game chnager for us. Abilty to screen users is fantastic. Highly recommend.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, not much. Some features are behind layers of subscriptions, which can be confusing. Some features share name/features so it can be tricky to know wheich one you need. It is easy to start/stop and reasign accounts if needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Zoom in an educational setting. We are able to work with students, community members and staff easily and efficently. Breakout rooms are a must and they work out amazingly.

Functionally Easy to Learn

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom was very easy to use and learn as it was quite intuitive and user friendly. I liked the added enhancements they did as I became more familiar as well as its playfulness as I work with the kids. The kids liked the traveling emoji ability as well as I . It gave us a good sense of humor to get through something virtual in learning that can get boring after awhile.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like how an attendee would log on before I and I had no way of letting them into the Waiting Room. I'd have to call them to get them to logout then log back in
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They really improved when they realized the hacking at the initial start of using Zoom. They gave the host the abilty to kick them out as well as take control back.


    Marketing and Advertising

My preferred conferencing solution

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy, and everyone knows how to use it, which makes meetings a breeze. Plus, there are additional tools that enable intragroup meetings that I really like. The complexity of many of the other platforms and the user interfaces when trying to interact/share content (primary use case) make Zoom my preferred solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to be able to see people better when sharing, but in terms of this functionality, Zoom is better than Teams, Chime, WebEx, and definitely Google Meet. I also prefer it to continue recording in the breakout rooms, to have more robust reporting, and to provide more flexibility when editing email templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom enables me to connect faster, easier and with less interruption than any other platform I've used. Other than WiFi connection, I seldom have an issue in my day-to-day usage.

The Far Side of the Usual Red Tape

What do you like best about the product?
Having taught in-person classes for nearly forty years, I was pleased to opt-out of the otherwise bureaucratically mandated electronic classroom options in favor of Zoom. On Zoom I could see a real-time version of every face of every student simultaneously, and I could guess which ones were wide awake and actively participating, and which ones were the fakers. That was always more than half the battle, but with Zoom I had a fighting chance, whereas with the vastly more complicated and vastly less flexible college-mandated system, the cause was lost before the battle had been engaged.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because I had opted out of the college-mandated system, the college refused to reimburse me for the fees I paid to Zoom. It would have helped a lot if Zoom had waived its fees, waving a banner of solidarity with an aging but idealistic adjunct professor, a proletarian in the world of six-figure full-timers and administrators.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits of Zoom were obvious to me from the start. I was able to use Zoom's whiteboard with ease, creating files for my students to access. I was able to store audio-visuals from YouTube and other sources, embedding them into lectures and discussions. Zoom simplified my work immensely.
