Best video conferencing software I have used
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Zoom is pretty intuitive. I use it with people of all ages and comfort levels with technology, and it seems to be pretty easy for people to pick up.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing that I find a bit strange is that when you are sharing a screen with participants, the zoom view defaults to not being able to see any of the participants or the chat. I think I have changed it so that I can see the people, but still not able to see the chat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps me meet and network with people all over the US, and all over the world. I have been able to achieve more through these meetings than I would have been able to do over the phone or with other conferencing software.
The only software I use…
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is extremely user friendly - minimal troubleshooting needed on any device. I can use it on my phone without any troubles. It's easy to send invites and keep track of meetings. It's easy to plan ahead as well as easy to jump into a spontaneous conversation. I love the ever evolving updates what had added more opportunities to make this an interactive virtual space.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing that I dislike about Zoom! It's my platform of choice personally and professionally. I've tried everything out there and Zoom takes the cake in every category.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps me stay connected with everyone in my life. It helps me work collaboratively with others. It helps me facilitate conversations between small and large groups. It helps me create learning spaces for people across cities, states, and countries. Zoom helps me do what I love: create space for transformative conversations to happen without the constraint of location.
Going from Impossible to Possible
What do you like best about the product?
The process of setting up a Zoom event is straightforward and easy to understand. Meeting clients face to face as well as sponsoring workshops and other in-person events were the cornerstones of the success of our organization. Before the pandemic shutdown, I had never had any experience with Zoom. In a very short period of time, we were able to replicate the components of our client support and educational programming as well as serving a larger number of clients. Additionally, we were able to enhance the quality of our offerings. Many components of our pandemic offerings will continue as Zoom events far into the future. Zoom we're here to stay
What do you dislike about the product?
Often people forget which email they used when they first signed up for zoom which can be time consuming
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it easy to hold face-to-face meetings, job interviews, board meetings, staff meetings and successful fundraising events with little io no overhead.
Zoom is the best video meeting platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Scheduling meetings on Zoom is easy, and results in a calendar invitation in any format that one can immediately send to invitees. Logging into the platform for the meetings is also easy and without a lot of delay, and the quality of the video and audio are great!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything. Zoom is easier to use than Microsoft teams and other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With COVID limiting travel and attendance in the office, the video adds an element of connectedness with attendees that is lacking in a conference call. People are more engaged and attentive, and there is less multitasking.
Easy to navigate and user-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Meetings can be scheduled with lots of detail, and across many time zones. Other users can be added as alternative hosts. The screenshare, chat, and whiteboard functions are helpful for moving meetings along.
What do you dislike about the product?
If one meeting is open and some members are still on that call, you cannot join another call for another meeting that you also are a host of. You must end the first meeting to be able to start your second meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is implementing collaborative tools for hosts and/or other members of the call to be able to use. This allows for a digital copy of items discussed/edited/etc. to be saved and accessed by everyone at the same time.
Easy to use, great features, and works perfectly most of the time.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, easy to share screen and record presentations/calls for future review or content repurposing. I use it for work primarily and have also used it to record entire video courses with great ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
Have to pay for what used to be free, constant updates make it a challenge to find features or settings sometimes. There are MANY settings, makes it hard to find things sometimes as old tutorials don't match up with the current layout of settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
easy recording of presentations with shared screens. Professional level audio for guided meditation experiences and being able to layer music into the experience is really cool.
Zoom is much better and easier to use than other tools available for meeting.
What do you like best about the product?
Most helpful are the several ways to connect and how simple is to participate in a meeting, even without any experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system closes a professional meeting after 40 minutes, even though the contract is regularly paid. The whiteboard still needs improvements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to work from home and to have students from several locations, even overseas. I am constantly working while so many people are unemployed.
I recommend this for all my customers
What do you like best about the product?
Stability and simplicity at its best, when weighed against competing software such as BlueJeans for an OS agnostic solution I have yet to find anything that is better. Many of my customers are on Linux platforms which do not support office applications like Teams and the user experience needs to be the same or better. Zoom has found that "sweet spot".
What do you dislike about the product?
My only criticism would be in reference to the scheduling interface, with the Zoom app. It tends to be clunky, and most of my customer base uses the web interface just for ease.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My customers support clients of their own, many of whom are abroad and need to present documents and video. e.g. My US client has a consultant in Romania who needs to provide detailed documentation to a third party in S.A. in real-time. This process would not be cost-effective if all parties needed to meet in person. This also allows for my U.S. client to evolve his business model from regional to global.
The most efficient videoconference software
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user-friendly, widely popular among users, and has all of the tools needed to make videoconferencing easy to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is not very accessible to everyone. It would be nice if there were multiple tiers of membership.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to easily connect with clients, record podcasts, and share data.
Multi-year satisfied customer
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is simple to use and ubiquitous. I've used teleconferencing and web meeting services for two decades and Zoom is by far the easiest and most versatile. I particularly like the calendar integration and the ability to schedule meetings from my phone and have them propagate my calendar.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had some occasional issues with cross device integration (ie. moving from computer to iPad or phone) but nothing that's been recurring. For the most part, no issues to report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual connectivity everywhere. We run a dispersed consulting firm and Zoom is an essential part of our infrastructure and that which we use with clients on a daily basis.
