Easy to use tool for scheduling group video calls
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a brand name, and that goes a long way in terms of trust and security. The company was slammed with growth fueled by the pandemic, which ultimately put it in a great position to quickly tackle must have compliance and security features quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were better calendar syncing tools. I want to be able to change an invite and have it automatically notify all participants without going back to my calendar. I also wish there were tools for selecting which timezones display. While it's a small annoyance, I regularly put meetings in client timezones and have to scroll through 20 zones between Los Angeles Pacific and New York Eastern Time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom excels at efficient high quality meetings, and is particularly leaps and bounds more efficient and full-featured than it's enterprise counterpart, Webex. People generally understand how to use it and already have it installed, and that makes things go smoothly.
Best videoconferencing API
What do you like best about the product?
The Zoom API is scalable, easy to use, and on top of that, users prefer and ask for Zoom! We have been using the Zoom API for over 1 year now and we are happy with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost can be high as you add more users. Their customer support could also be better as we have inquired a few times about their price increases with only 1 month notice, and as a social impact startup, it is difficult when we dont have much of a notice
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to connect our users to videoconferencing, have a unique link on each meeting that is scheduled through our platform, and it has benefited us because Zoom is so reliable
Overall pretty good
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, lots of features, nice interface. Zoom room integrations are a plus. Integration with other apps (Outlook)
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can only be signed in to the Zoom app on one computer at a time. I frequently switch between my work computer and home computer and it would be nice to not have to sign in every time. Another issue is that I often get a message about 'low system resources' or 'unstable connection' while using Zoom, but I am not sure if this is a Zoom issue or a PC/internet issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have not yet returned to fully in person meetings, so it's great to be able to meet with colleagues easily over Zoom. We also have consultants in various parts of the country/world, and in general Zoom works pretty well.
Ubiquitous video conferencing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it very easy to use for users of all skill levels. The virtual background allows for easy privacy for folks working from all around. Easy to use mobile devices to connect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides to using Zoom. Would like better ability to create shared accounts for business function use, versus specific user use. I wish it were easier to move between devices during a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Zoom to facilitate physician video visits, meetings with parties outside of the company, as well as a replacement for an aging Skype for Business system.
Reliable platform for essential meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's easy to use and gives me the ability to customize elements of video conferences to my liking, such as audio (which I use in conjunction with a program called Krisp),
What do you dislike about the product?
Just the occasional technical glitches where it won't let someone into your room or you have trouble joining a meeting. Also,making sure breakout rooms get more randomly assigned would be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needing to meet with my clients and team as we all work in different locations. We're able to spend our time better as a virtual team, which has allowed us to pursue more opportunities.
A user friendly video conferencing tool for educators
What do you like best about the product?
I found Zoom to be easy to navigate for both the facilitator as well as the audience members. It made the switch to virtual learning/distance learning and meetings easier than it could have been when the pandemic forced this shift/change to the way we did education. I also can't say thank you enough to Zoom for working with school districts across the country and not price gouging them when our world was literally being turned upside down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just like any other online user platform, it took a little bit to get everyone comfortable and knowledgable enough to use it. Also, with the updates that Zoom did you had to re-login and most of the time you had to reset your settings/virtual backgrounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has kept us connected the best we could in the virtual meeting and educating space. I appreciate their willingness to work with public districts that do not have a lot of money to keep this technology available to those of us that need it.
Helpful and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom works well with Outlook and coordindates with my calendar. Features are easy to locate and use, even in the midst of a call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I move an appointment in my calendar it fails to adjust in my Zoom app so it is corrected in outlook and my gmail calendar but it is incorrect on my Zoom schedule
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do professional counseling and it has helped me to be able to do sessions with some old clients who are now out of state and unable to meet in person
Highly functional for teaching and meetings
What do you like best about the product?
All of the features that make it a dynamic experience like the whiteboard, share screen, breakout rooms, and remote control.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been on Zoom calls that get "bombed" with people that should not have been there. I imagine using a password would help discourage that.

Meeting with my team, clients, and students since I moved out of state and now work mostly remotely.
Very useful tool for business and personal meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows me to connect with clients across the globe, quickly and easily. It has expanded our ability to support clients wherever they are.
What do you dislike about the product?
The break-out room and whiteboard features could be more user-friendly. New features aren't always easiest to discover.

Zoom allows me to connect with my staff, stakeholders and clients, and share information, without have to be in-person.
Strong but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes meetings easy. It supports scheduling through outlook. It is somewhat easy to use in the direct computer connection. The use of waiting rooms and screen sharing is amazing.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are limited options available on the phone app. For example, you cannot assign a cohost of you use the app. Additionally, if you dismiss aparticipant, there is no way to get them back into the meeting.,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scheduling meetings has been made easier. Preventing travel costs and "seeing" each other is valuable for us during the pandemic. The ability to access Zoom without downloading is greatly appreciated.
