Great communication tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a great communication tool for every need with clear audio & visual communication. Works well for those with experience and those without - Grama did great with it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom relies on the internet and bandwidth. In a great broadband area, this works well. It is slower and lags with slower bandwidth, especially rural areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to hold weekly catch-up meetings with collaborators to coordinate clients. Everyone can join via phone, tablet, laptop or desktop which makes it convenient for all.
Game changer for virtual music lessons
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate all the options available, especially for audio settings. The "original sound" option had allowed me to teach music lessons to my students, even if one of us is traveling!
What do you dislike about the product?
As with any video call software, there are sometimes connections issues. The price is a little higher than I'd like since it's become a necessity lately, but I don't mind paying to have the freedom to use it as long as I need to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past, many lessons have been rescheduled because of someone being out of town, slightly under the weather, etc. Zoom has solved that! It also has done wonders cutting down on commute time :)
Started during the pandemic and actually helped group participation grow
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, even for the not-so-tech-savvy. Anyone can easily start or join a meeting!
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems that we frequently have requests for people in an in-person group setting wanting to see and hear everyone that is utilizing Zoom at the same time. It can be kind of tricky, but we have found a couple of ways to make it work with adapters and utilizing a Smart TV.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows those who are unable to attend in person to maintain weekly contact with their peers. This has been absolutely essential for social and emotional health.
Zoom is the best online video platform out there. We try to push all client calls through zoom.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has the highest quality of video and screen sharing is easier than on other platforms out there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logged history of meetings doesn't show automatically. That feature has to be enabled where it should automatically track the meeting and times for a limited period of time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being remote! I love that I have the flexibility to hop on Zoom and do training, take a master class, a discuss partnerships. And because Zoom is ubiquitous clients feel very comfortable with this method of communication too.
Happy Zoom User
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use and allows me to communicate efficiently with my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any problems with zoom. There's nothing I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has given me a way to coach my clients in an easy and efficient way. Otherwise, I would have a difficult time communicating with my clients.
Best virtual meeting platform
What do you like best about the product?
I really enjoy the ability to share screen and computer audio during large group meetings, and the option to access recordings on the cloud as not everyone can always join live meetings. The opportunity to also specifically select what window to share is very useful to avoid having to go back and forth between screens or share unnecessary information during meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had many issues with zoom, especially with the business plan to hold meetings for longer than 30minutes. I wish there was a way to easily control who can speak or mute users (like the host could have certain powers) especially as there are times when people are unaware they are not muted and it can disrupt a meeting, or even give the person a warning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it easy to hold virtual meetings and they are easily accessible, meaning not everyone needs to have an account which makes it easy to use as someone who uses it for work. It can make things more streamlined and efficient.
Zoom got me through the pandemic and beyond
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom provides easy logins for attendees and a system that works the same way every time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the 'Join Meeting' link does not work and you need to click on the complete link lower in the email to get access to the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to work remotely and avoid long commutes to work with my clients. Without Zoom, my revenue would have dropped to near zero during the pandemic.
New Work Essential
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Zoom is the ability to collaborate effortlessly with teammates who are now working on a hybrid work schedule, which I'm sure we've all seen an uptick in within the past couple of years. I think during this transition over the past two years, one of the functions I picked up from a meeting I was a participant in was the ability to be able to mark the screen when screen-sharing like a 'whiteboard' which gives additional collaborative powers right within the same app. The recording feature has also been a lifesaver for meetings that have a plethora of important details you'd need to go back to reference.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure I've noticed many downsides to Zoom, I think most of the issues are related to WiFi connectivity, user errors, or other outside factors from what I've seen. Off the top of my head, I cannot think of a time where I was frustrated with the app itself. I do think their customer service could be better, as our company did have a difficult time getting a hold of one representative to handle our case regarding transferring licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned in what I like best, Zoom is helping to solve collaboration. With the new age of working, there are a greater number of collaborators that are now not "in-office" to collaborate with them face-to-face. This app solves that with the ability to communicate effectively through multiple avenues (chat, video, audio, screensharing).
Light Bandwidth. Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
So far Zoom seems to be the lightest video conferencing software that I've used. For people with marginal or heavily loaded connections, this means that I can stay on Zoom and still have bandwidth left over for other tasks. For me, I also appreciate the call-in option so that I can have uninterrupted audio via a land line, even when my internet connection seems flaky. The basic controls are also easy to learn - important for including my non-tech-savvy parents.
Since I work remotely I also appreciate the background options to hide distractions. I don't have to worry about whether the room is cleaned up or someone left the closet door open, or even wondering if clients will ask me about my location when the backgrounds are enabled.
As far as I'm concerned, Zoom is my go-to online meeting tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
The interface seems to be slightly different on different devices. I'm sure this is to optimize the display on multiple devices but can make it difficult when trying to explain to someone else how to do something within the video conferencing tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a rural area with marginal internet connectivity. With the light bandwidth requirements and dial-in options, my video meetings with co-workers and clients is basically seamless. This hasn't been my experience with other video conferencing options.
Staying Connected while Far Away
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to be in constant touch with my coworkers, hold meetings without having to travel, and collaborate across the team! I love sharing my screen, I love the chat feature and the recording!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the quality of the calls can be lower quality than I would like. Also not being able to transfer hosts and still record is hard!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working across states and being able to continue to build culture and connect.
