Zoom saved my business!
What do you like best about the product?
I am able to work from home - during the Pandemic yoga studios around the world were forced to shut down however I was able to teach online and retain my clients. They all enjoyed it so much that we're still doing it online now two years later
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly sound quality it's still a bit to me unless you have special tech devices. A way to easily play music in the background without it distorting would be wonderful and a huge asset for people like me
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As I said above when yoga studios were forced to shut down I was able to easily pivot my business and continue working from home. All thanks to zoom! And because everyone is so familiar with zoom now due to the pandemic my business is only growing
Using Zoom to Improve by Business
What do you like best about the product?
That I can do live on YouTube using zoom. I am able to share multiple screens, sound, and perform classes without any issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
That when a students has zoom on google chrome, they share their screen, and I CANNOT annotate. This is probably the most frustrating aspects of the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to meet with students across the country and having the ability to connect as a host through my computer and ipad.
Pandemic Trial to Regular User
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is user friendly. It's also an easy an easy platform for integrating with Outlook and other scheduling programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the amount of updates that happen as I'm logging into an imminent meeting. I wish we could receive an e-mail notice so that we could plan accordingly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large meetings are much easier to plan and schedule with Zoom as an optional "join by video" solution for attendance.
Zoom has been very user friendly, it is very helpful and a very valuable tool for my business.
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to meet with clients face to face (virtually) and being able to conduct presentations with ease. Other formats are much more difficult and confusing
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside to Zoom is one gets spoiled by the excellence of this format that it makes it difficult to use any other format. I don't have any complaints reg. Zoom
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is allowing me to meet clients "face to face" that I might otherwise never had the opp. to do so. Allows me to conduct presentations out of town without travel.
Reliable and Quick Alterative to In Person Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I love the share screen option. Being able to share what you have with a client or co-worker makes a meeting move quickly without having to email documents back and forth. I am known for forgetting to send a document or the most up-to-date document before a meeting and this makes it so I don't have to worry about that. Chat is also a great feature where it is easy to send links to clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had a few times where my rural internet connection makes Zoom impossible. That is not exactly Zoom's fault but if there was an option to be able to run on a lower resolution for video or something that would help reduce the upload and download speed needed that would be very helpful for those of us in rural America.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
COVID was obviously the birth of the necessity for most people and I am no different, but living in a rural area it is really helpful to be able to jump on and have a quick Zoom meeting over driving 30 minutes to meet with other members on a committee or board of directors

Personal contact is limited. I can't sense vibes.

Easy and fast way to have virtual meets
What do you like best about the product?
Easy meeting scheduling and great video quality. The share screen quality is allso very good. The zoom compresses the videos and saves to the computer which is really good
What do you dislike about the product?
During music sessions, when there is too high potch, the audio cuts off which makes dofficult to attend the sessions.

Easy virtual meets, zoom rooms and share screen options makes my business easy

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can operate my virtual-only, service business via Zoom with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
No dislikes, other than it would be nice to have Zoom auto-send the link invites to my clients to expedite workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has been a leader in virtual communication, allowing small businesses like mine offering one-to-one coaching, to have a solidly performing platform where we can meet our clients.
Essential for my Remote Business
What do you like best about the product?
Makes completing work remotely infinitely easier. Zoom meetings are so much more effective and collaborative than a phone call, and allow me to easily review documents with my clients to make sure we're on the same page (literally and figuratively!). Appreciate that I can scheudle meetings in advance, and control various means of inviting clients depending on what calendar system them use. Has also been essential to networking. Using Zoom allows me to dedicate more time to networking and professional development because I can more easily fit it into the work day - no commuting type required! As a tax professional, I often have documents that are dozens of pages long that I need my clients to review. Sharing it via zoom is in many ways even eaiser than doing so in person, because we can all review the same document at the same time and skip ahead to the most important parts.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit difficult to use Google Calendar with the Zoom scheduling too, since it periodically confuses clients into clicking the wrong link for the meeting (Google Meet vs Zoom). Would appreciate a calendar integration that doesn't allow Google to insert their own link. I'd also like to have it a bit easier to see what your meeting participants are seeing when you're presenting, such as with a Power Point in full screen presenter mode. Sometimes I have to test it out first by inviting myself as a guest to verify that they're seeing what I want them to see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives me the flexiblily to work remotely with a wider client base without losing the personal touch of speaking face to face. Increases client satisfaction by allowing me to more thoroughly review documents with them without requiring a trip to the office or a confusing phone call trying to follow along. During my busiest season, it frees up hours a month by making it seamless to schedule back to back meetings without clients feeling like they're being shoved in and out of a revolving door.
Zoom gets the job done well
What do you like best about the product?
I think zoom is pretty user-friendly. I like that it intergrates with other software and makes scheduling online meetings easier. It host more people that other meeting softwares and generally has little to no lag when there are a lot of participants.
What do you dislike about the product?
Due to the increase in virtual meetings, the imposed security protocols, while necessary, can be cumbersome to the process. It can also make it more difficult to get non-technical people into the meeting space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in a large geographical area and Zoom allows me to meet with people from the entire region without having to travel to these places. As we transitioned to lockdown, I was able to continue working and collaborating with everyone seamlessly.
