Perfect for Small Nonprofit
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom stores my frequently used Zoom room numbers for easy login. When I go to start my regular monthly meeting, I don't have to look up the room code.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have struggled with the whiteboard on Zoom. While it's a great feature, I have yet to be in a meeting where it is fully functional for all participants. Some can only see the whiteboard, while others can manipulate it by adding to the shared whiteboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows our nonprofit beneficiaries a space where they can gather virtually every month and stay in touch with each other. Our video chats often end up being a laughfest where we are telling stories about past dive trips.
Zoom is constantly updating, and I can't imagine doing the work of my business without it.
What do you like best about the product?
Desktop app, ease of use for most parties involved, widespread use and understanding of the platform, features, apps, polls, quizzes, etc.! Competitors don't have the luxury of the widespread use of their platforms, which makes Zoom preferable.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find that camera quality differs from device to device, which can be frustrating, if for no other reason than we're looking at ourselves the whole time, to be so vain! 😂
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think Zoom is doing a great job of making the platform more dynamic, especially as virtual meetings & events persist throughout the pandemic, vis a vis apps, polls, quizzes, emojis, breakout rooms, backgrounds, etc.
A New Business Essential
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom's common-sense interface, simplicity of use, and broad acceptance across my industry has made it an essential office tool. I can rely upon my peers to know how to use it, so we can get done to business immediately.
What do you dislike about the product?
Any new communications tool introduces new opportunities for compromising information, and Zoom is no exception. One strength of Zoom is its ease of use, in particular its empowering work in a casual setting, and this can lead to inadvertent disclosures. Some optional, intense reminders of the need for care would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Zoom, the practicalities of setting up physical meetings, and the high expense of virtual meetings, meant that our professional associations could not serve our rural members as well as those in urban areas. Our members who resided out of state could be served almost not at all.
Zoom has annihilated most geographic barriers. We have provided programs for members all over our state and nation, ex-patriots living in retirement in another country, and interested persons around the world. This has great value.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has connected business leaders, influencers, etc. across the globe. It has given us an environment to expand our businesses.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Logo being displayed even when there is a business account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm utilizing Zoom to acquire certifications which ordinarily I would have to travel and now I do not. We save money.

I cant change the fact that when they register it sends them the zoom code and some meetings I don't want them to have the code until I know they paid

What do you like best about the product?
Rarely do people have an issue connecting to Zoom. I find that people can experience connection issues when I use other platforms such as Teams, Skype for Business, etc. for people that are not part of the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see a Zoom feature to gather participant feedback without using a 3rd party app like Slido. With large groups it is tough to keep track of the chat flow and ensure that all questions are answered, comments captured, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with a lot of clients from different organizations, and Zoom is the smoothest platform when I want to meet with people. Sometimes people coming from different orgs with different comms platforms have issues when they have to connect to "outside" platforms like Teams. Zoom rarely gives people issues when connecting.
Easy to use and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a super easy to use and reliable way to connect with my clients and coworkers across the country. There are a lot of resources for troubleshooting so if I had any issues, I could easily resolve them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom requires a really strong connection to internet so for those that don't have access, it can be a big barrier to using the platform. Generally, people can call in the but connection isn't as good as with the video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It sounds like zoom is continuing to create features to make the site more user-friendly. This will directly benefit my clients and staff so more people can access quality care.
Helpful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is an easy platform to use. It is quite versatile and is helpful as a tool for interactive meetings, just listening and for family gatherings with relatives spread far and wide.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be a bit temperamental. It will choose a different microphone each time when I switch between devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom gives me the platform to conduct virtual tours of our school which is very helpful for families that need to decide on a school for their child but can't leave work.

What do you like best about the product?
A few pros to Zoom: friendly & responsive customer service, the ease of creating meetings and editing meeting details, its user-friendly interface, and the free tutorials available for more complex situations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe my one negative experience with Zoom was when I was trying to use whiteboard on my laptop and it wasn't available for use at that time on anything but a desktop. The person I chatted with helped explain how I could use it so it was a good learning experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To be honest, I only use Zoom for meetings and I really don't play with it enough to use all of its features. If I ever have more time I would like to see what else can be done with our subscription.

Ease of use - it is easy for us to set up events and for our patrons to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - it just works the way it should. Please, people have been trained to use it and its a better platform than the others (Microsoft teams, etc.)

It allows us to offer programs that people around the world can attend, which is a novel development for us.
