User-friendly meeting tool
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has proven to be the most user-friendly video conferencing tool emerging from the pandemic. Great for customer-facing and external meetings to connect without technical challenges or confusion
What do you dislike about the product?
As an internal meeting tool, it does not integrate well with calendaring software the same way Teams and Google Meet do. Unfortunately because these solutions have their own proprietary integrations that get pioritized over Zoom
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows for high-quality virtual meetings, greatly reducing the need to travel to get things done. I am able to reach more potential clients and collaborate with more talent thanks to Zoom

Scheduling, Links & Usability are amazing

Storage space limitations are minimally helpful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I conduct international mentoring as a service to fellow technologists across the globe who cannot afford more expensive courses. Zoom helps me to afford the professional Zoom without killing my budget by providing services like scheduling, and shareable links to make it easy for non-native English speakers to join, and the various windows are essential to being able to only share what I need to.
Excellent video conferencing platform!
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate all of the security settings that have been added over time to make Zoom a more effective platform. I've found it to be a much more reliable platform than other options out there, like Microsoft Teams or Google Meets. The video quality is very poor with those options.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that collaborating with the Whiteboards feature was easier with those outside of my organization. I naturally collaborate with community members, other professionals, and more, and having something that's universally shareable is a necessity.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Online education, meeting in a remote work environment, and meeting in a safe way, especially during the winter time when travel is quite dangerous.
Zoom is my preferred video conferencing platform. I’ve been using it since 2016.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful aspect of Zoom is the host administration of a meeting. Once a host gets comfortable hosting a meeting, the meeting proceeds in a flawless manner.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of things that I feel should be addressed. First is being able to rename and create additional breakout rooms after a set of breakout rooms have been created and opened.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest benefits that Zoom has solved for me is to be able to connect with my peers and clients globally. This aspect of Zoom shrinks the globally aspect of collaboration. No mater where clients are, we can connect.
ZOOM - My preference for virtual meetings
What do you like best about the product?
A few things that I really appreciate about zoom is how a person who has never used zoom before, can click the link I email them and they are not required to create an account, or download and install software. It is the most recognized name for virtual meetings. During the pandemic zoom offered free additional benefits to individuals and schools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The space for saving zoom recordings is very small without paying for additional space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has saved me so much time! I have shorter client meetings when it's a virtual instead of an in-person meeting. I can share my screen easily or the client can share their screen so I can walk them through step by step applications.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of access. We use the same log-in procedure. Share screen is easy

Like many remote video services, it would be wonderful if sharing for example a movie or video clip that one could sync- video and audio

Communication. When face-to-face meetings are not available this is best. Screen sharing and file sharing

We use Zoom for all of our sales calls and client communications. We are able to record meetings which is very helpful.
Great Tool to Communicate Long Distance
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it allows me to talk with clients that are not located near me. In addition, I love that Zoom can be integrated with other softwares to make scheduling meetings automated.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't much I dislike about Zoom. I think the only thing would be that some of the settings are not exactly apparent as you have to dig around a bit to find what yoy are looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is helping me be able to have face to face communication with my clients. I also love the screen sharing capabilities as it ensures both me and my clients are on the same page knowing what we are talking about.
Vital tool for business needs
What do you like best about the product?
The control ability as a host. I love to be able to share screens both on my end and participants' end. The ability to control who I can see and the layout.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure I have anything about Zoom that I dislike. If I had to pick something, it would be that you can't adjust your setting in the app, but only through the website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving for large meetings that connect our teams across the county and it also helps me connect with future employees in a way that reflects our culture.

What do you like best about the product?
It's always so easy to meet with a client you would never have met in person otherwise. I also love that Zoom came up with the whiteboard. It's so needed for folks who work from home nowadays.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little confusing to set up for folks who are not as tech-savvy. It took me (a very tech-savvy person) a little time to figure out the desktop version of Zoom as well. When I want to add people to my contact list, it would not notify people if they don't have a desktop app. At least there should be feedback telling me that was the reason, but I had to figure that out myself. It's also difficult to find the Zoom window when someone's presenting their screens.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is a must-have for people who work from home. I'm a web designer and I work with people from all over the US. It's always nice to be able to meet face to face with my clients and collaborate with other contractors.
