Easy to use in a saturated market
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using ZOOM during the height of the pandemic and have seen great value in the tool from ease of use and ability to make improvements that help improve the overall experience. Given there are so many competitors it's helpful to know we found one that works, is priced competitively and makes it easy to use. Would recommend to anyone with a small business to try their software out and see how easy everything works.
What do you dislike about the product?
Better communication on updates and best practices with the software. Most learning is done on the fly and would be helpful to know what updates are coming and available to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ways to communicate to client base and having a tool that the general public is very familiar with
Great Product/Service
What do you like best about the product?
I've found zoom to be very easy when scheduling meetings and even changing them last minute. It's quick and efficient! I have about several calls a week and find Zoom to work best for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like some of the connection issues that I run into sometimes when there is a zoom update but they seem to work themselves out eventually and aren't a huge deal breaker for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've found Zoom to be better in terms of other similar services like Facetime or Google Meet based on the professionalism and efficiency zoom offers compared to the others.
Zoom review
What do you like best about the product?
It's a great tool to connect with customers. It allows you to have face to face dialogues and conduct business.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been limited times where a presenter or main customer is running the meeting on our platform and is not an authorized user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to have timely meetings on a platform accessible by many despite locations.
Reliable Video Conferencing for Small Business
What do you like best about the product?
Embedded widget in my Google Calendar and Outlook enables me to quickly schedule meetings on the go and present myself as a bigger, more complex business than just a one man operation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the integration is wonky. Zoom starts a meeting with me as the host but doesn't have me logged in as the host. Has happened more than a few times. I have to log out of the meeting, log back into Zoom, and then proceed. Doesn't seem like an intelligent platform in that respect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps me on par with other, larger agencies and consultant groups in order to schedule and host client meetings. workshops and other meetings when in-person meeting is not possible.
Using Zoom for my calls with clients and family
What do you like best about the product?
Good quality of calls, many options to extend your experience such as sharing screen, adding audio and so on. Also I like scheduling a bunch of calls for a week with a calendar reminder
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm ok with everyhing. Only thing is that I have just 40 min free with one-on-one calls. When I have a group calls- that's ok to pay for a subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm working with clients all over the world and it's very helpful that Zoom has time zones when you're scheduling a call in advance. So clients know at what exact time they should attend the meeting in their time zone.
Zoom is an easy to use and pretty inclusive platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use with participants. The people participating can do so with a click. I like the ease of the chat feature and the recording feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say the number of people you can have participate under a basic plan. The annotation feature is a little limiting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During Covid especially, I found an easy format to continue consulting with schools.
Zoom just works!
What do you like best about the product?
The thing about Zoom I like best is that it just works. Sure, there are other popular videoconferencing platforms. I use Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. Teams consistently is difficult to login to properly. Google Meet still feels like a beta with lower quality video and isn't optimized for screen sharing. Zoom has none of these problems. It is a polished, professional video conferencing app, regardless of which platform I've used it on.
What do you dislike about the product?
What bothers me about Zoom is that I can only send invites from one email address. Since I'm a paying subscriber, shouldn't I be able to send invites from multiple addresses? Most of us deal in a world where it's necessary to use different email addresses and calendars for different things. As long as I'm logged in with the same name, and I can't schedule multiple meetings at the same time, what would the harm be in letting me use my multiple email addresses with one paid Zoom account?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am located in Denver, Colorado, USA and have clients around the country and around the world. Zoom lets me stay in touch seamlesslessy with all of them. I even use it for networking and industry events with people from around the world. There's never a problem connecting with anyone using Zoom.
My experience has been overall positive. Easy to connect, set up meetings and breakrooms.
What do you like best about the product?
Accessibility and user-friendly. I also like that I can record my meetings and keep them for a few months. I love that I can share them, edit them, and download them for record keeping.
What do you dislike about the product?
I pretty much like most of the features. There are some that I have not utilized yet, but I hope to soon. Zoom has allowed me to connect from practically anywhere. The only feature I dislike is that I cannot run two video conferences simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connectivity. Anyone can connect to a meeting. It also solves the fact that I can share, edit, and collaborate in a session with everyone in attendance. We can keep meeting notes and questions on the record. We can also ask questions as if we were in a live meeting.
Zoom for Business
What do you like best about the product?
I truly enjoy how flexible Zoom is for my business as it allows for customization (custom backgrounds), easy scheduling (integrates well with Google and Calendly), and also is easy to share the link with clients. You can also enable recording, which is very handy for sharing with internal folks who may have not been able to make the meeting time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that you have to 'make a guest the host' manually and that the guest cannot automatically share their screen. While this is a great way to keep control, I believe it could be better with allowing the option and flexibility to share who is able to host the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves one major problem for me: ease of use. It is too easy to quickly set up meetings with internal folks and clients alike. Gone are the days of endless settings.
Zoom 2022 Review
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to connect to others remotely, for face-to-face video interactions is incredibly helpful for situations when people are not able to easily connect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limit on time for meetings with the free account was a challenge to work with. The shortened meeting times compelled our organization to purchase a paid account, but for anyone using the free version, the time limit can be disruptive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting with colleagues across the country has added a richness to meetings that we would not have without this capability. A new layer of flexibility has also been added to our team by creating opportunities for our staff and volunteers to still be a part of meetings even if they were unable to be there in person.
