The ease of meeting f-2-f with Zoom.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to meet without leaving the comfort of my home or wherever I am. I also love changing my background for certain meetings. The filters help to avoid embarrassment for messy environments or just spices up the meeting and shows personality.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe the one thing I would fix with this platform is to synchronize the use of my account on multiple devices. The settings are a bit off, and that means I have to change while using both.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As both an educator and a minister who also consults, it brings my customers and congregants f-2-f with multiple people across city limits/states/continents to discuss important information.

Zoom makes work from home and education from home seamless

What do you like best about the product?
I get most of the benefits of an in-person conversation, with all the benefits of working or studying from home. Zoom hands down made work from home and education from home possible for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike about zoom is that I cannot store accounts in my zoom to swap between. I use one zoom account for school, and one for work, and it's annoying swapping between the two because I have to sign in every time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is bridging the communication gap between myself and fellow employees, in a quick manner. Email communication can be challenging and ineffective when you can find a solution for a challenge in seconds with video communication.

Quick, efficient way to communicate

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom looks very professional and has a very easy layout that just about anyone could appreciate, in just a couple of clicks you can either make a meeting and invite others, join another call and talk to your coworkers or even use it to talk to family. You can have a large number of people all on one call as well, which is great when needed to tell a large group of people things.
What do you dislike about the product?
You are required to pay to use zoom for a meeting longer than around 40 minutes, and if there are more than 100 attendees. Discounts could help with this for things like student users and teachers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom helps spread information to large groups of people very easily, and it helps me talk to large amounts of people at once and get their feedback at the same time with fast connectivity. My higher-ups can easily make a conference call with me and my coworkers if they need to tell us things, and even put us in breakout rooms where we can talk in smaller groups while still on the main call.

What do you like best about the product?
The functionality of the platform, the add-on's like Calendly, the ability to enhance my appearance on the screen if I want to, affordability, and reliability.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it's "pretend" interaction; it's still not face-to-face.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is solving utter and complete isolation issues for solopreneurs and those who work full-time remotely. Using Zoom I can save a boatload of $ for traveling.

Low hassle video-conferencing solution

What do you like best about the product?
My company has been using Zoom since 2020, and it's worked well for the various meetings we've had with folks throughout the USA and even internationally.

I liked that the quality is relatively good, and it has its own stand-alone app for Mac and PC that just works.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are other solutions that are free (or lower cost) to us. However, I've still been using Zoom because of overall quality (and that it's not within a web browser).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have meetings that are high quality (and supports high-quality web cams) without needing to travel/commute.

Game changer

What do you like best about the product?
They constantly add new features. It's the most robust app I've used. It's able to keep high quality even when internet is patchy and troubleshoots with you. It's easy for first timers to participate and has tons of options beyond that for pros.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. Occasionally screen recording is more complicated than it needs to be. I've had a Call ended when someone is assigned as host and leaves cos they're not realizing it's then but that's not really the app's fault.
Oh actually I'd love there to be a way to spotlight multiple people and format their screens a certain way and size.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves specifically the need for platform that can be both simple when needed and advanced for those who want that.

Zoom Goes! (Hence the Name)

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom's interface is second to none. The ability to change video screen layouts and sizes are A1. I like that the settings are fully customizable both before you turn camera on as well as during the actual meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to know if a participant is going to show up as spotlighted on recorded content. Still trying to learn how to use Zoom to the full for those who use American and other Sign Languages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I conduct 25% of all my ASL interpreting work via Zoom. I do some of these assignments using MS Teams and other inferior applications and these just don't cut it quite like Zoom.

Bringing our Provincial Association together

What do you like best about the product?
We are a provincial membership association. It is difficult for all of our members to travel to meet in person. Zoom allows us to meet with greater ease and frequency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, not all of our members have the internet capabilities to enable their cameras during meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allowed us to meet and continue our business during Covid.

Amazing Resource!

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows me to provide my services to potential clients that are hours away from where I am. It continues to evolve and different items are added to Zoom which I love.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything from Zoom. However, I just need to take the time to get up to date with the new items that have been updated within Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped me tremendously by allowing me to serve current and potential clients that I would not have otherwise been able to help. It continues to help me with my business. I don't use Zoom every day but when I do need it, it is a big help. Many people still do not want to meet in person due to the Covid pandemic so this is a great alternative.
