Zoom, The Global Connector
What do you like best about the product?
With Zoom, I have a global impact. I have set up meetings and run nervous system support sessions, that used to only be conducted in person, now online. The sharing the computer audio feature is my go to since music is a key ingredient to my service. I also love that I can record my sessions and download parts of it later. It's great for record keeping and notes for sessions. Lastly, break out rooms!! Makes diving up the room in to small groups or 1:1's for practice so much easier than when I was teaching in real life.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I use the calendly app to schedule appointments, it automatically adds them to both my Zoom Meeting calendar and my Gmail calendar.
However, when a meeting gets canceled on Zoom, it doesn't show the cancelation on either my Gmail or Calendly. I have to manually go back and delete it. It's just a small inconvenience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I would love to learn how to use the whiteboard. This is a feature I can see myself using because I used to have a whiteboard in my classroom/studio. Now, I just premake slides when I teach. There's a lot of features I haven't even begun to explore. I know Zoom is always adding interesting upgrades.
Zoom saved my life!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom saved my life during the pandemic! I had been widowed, just moved into a completely new area of town, and was trying to rebuild my life. Being able to connect during the pandemic with others, not just in my area, but across the country, saved my life. I made new friends, was able to process my grief and get counseling help, all over Zoom. I will be forever grateful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The difficulty is in feeling connected with others when I can't see their eyes or touch them. Sometimes the pictures on the laptop were not clear so it was tough to understand where someone was coming from when they made comments. Emojis help but are not perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making connections with others is huge in my business because I need to establish a relationship of trust with them. All of them are long-distance, so being able to connect on Zoom is critical so they can see my face and get to know me. Without that ability, trust would be difficult to establish.
I use ZOOM for everything!
What do you like best about the product?
The setup is easy, it's easy to use on multiple devices, easy to navigate. It's easy to set up meetings and share links in an instant. I prefer it to all the other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't really found any yet. It has helped to sustain my teaching and practice over the pandemic, and increase productivity by making it easier to connect with people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can schedule and have a meeting in minutes, and it eliminates the necessity of traveling across town to meet. It is reliable, I haven't had tech issues with it. It definitely helps me to maintain productivity. And it became invaluable in allowing me to stay connected to friends and loved ones when COVID required social distancing.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the backgrounds I can choose and the idea of the service! I love zoom for all my presentations and it helps me a lot! Zoom is a lot better than google meetings
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I go on the zoom and go on it twice it adds 2 of me which is confusing for the student/person who is on the zoom and can create background noise! Also keeping hackers away on zoom is another situation you should think about!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me do all my work online! I can't drive or go anywhere for my sales and it's best for me to do zoom! If zoom wasn't on this planet everything would be different and that is why I love zoom !
Zoom is helpful for connecting with clients
What do you like best about the product?
I like Zoom because it makes connecting with clients easy. I work with clients all over the country, singularly and groups, and zoom makes it really easy to accommodate people and have visuals
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally it turns my camera off and I can't turn it back on without logging off and back on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a tarot reader doing readings for people all over the Us, and sometimes internationally, and Zoom is an affordable way to do readings for my clients and have the ability to show them the cards and make a visual connection.
Zoom and amazing tool to work smoothly
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a tool that helps my team to work quickly and fast. Zoom connects video, chats and more in one amazing app to be successful with our clients. No delays, no disruptions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I Would like to have more emoticons or funny items to relax my conversations, probably a gallery of them to interact with my customers or when I need to do a training.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom placed me close to my clients, Actually to my work team, and all people involved in projects. Zoom is a great tool to keep track of all tasks and meetings without the need to be in the same place.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom allows us to broadcast and view our church service at home to people who don't feel comfortable coming to in-person worship.
What do you dislike about the product?
When glitches happen and we get kicked off the zoom. This can be very frustrating and inconvenient when we are in the middle of our Church service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves us time and money by hosting meetings on Zoom rather than in person. It helps when we have someone out of town that needs to attend a meeting. It has given us the ability to have guest preachers from other parts of Canada like Ontario and Quebec.
Daily Zoom Usage
What do you like best about the product?
I use zoom almost daily. To manage my business through internal meetings along with meetings with clients from around the world. Zoom works very well, it's easy to share a screen or host large meetings and classes. I like the polling feature and the ability to mute people.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside is that you need to pay to talk for over an hour. Meetings are typically an hour but often run just a few minutes over. We use this enough to choose the paid option but if I only hosted meetings once a week it would be frustrated to pay for the 7 extra minutes of time per month that I may need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It costs a lot in time to travel to meeting locations. With gas being expensive, as well, it really helps with efficiency and cost to host meetings virtually. Zoom allows us to easily host these.
Love Zoom! So intuitive and easy to use in lots of ways
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and understand. It has lots of useful features for work and leisure uses - the whiteboard is good for online group games with friends and colleagues. Share screen is easy to use. Breakout rooms are useful for big groups and conferences.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good to have one button you can press in order to make it so that anyone on the call can share screen without having to ask or swap it back and forth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to connect with colleagues all over the world with one simple web link or a personalized link is so great. It also integrates with my calendar and online booking platforms.
A lifesaver for our church during the COVID pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
We were able to set up our account quickly, and we began meeting and worshiping online. The basic settings were easy to configure. Thankfully, there is a phone option for the few who don't use computers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our biggest challenge was training people who don't use computers much. It took time, but most people were soon on board.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Relationships are the lifeblood of church life, and we needed a way to continue meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now that we are able to meet in person again, we continue to offer a connection via Zoom so that others can continue to join in remotely.
