Connecting Over the Miles
What do you like best about the product?
I have a small spiritual direction practice that involves meeting with clients once a month for about an hour each time. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I only met with clients in person. About a year after the start of the pandemic, I received a request from someone in another city who wanted to schedule spiritual direction with me. I was not sure how well I would be able to connect with someone using Zoom, but I offered to try. It turned out that our one-on-one Zoom meetings were just as effective as my in-person sessions with other clients had been.
What do you dislike about the product?
At the close of my in-person spiritual direction sessions, I typically hold hands with my client and pray for them. With Zoom sessions, I still end with prayer, but I miss the simple touch of holding hands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During the height of the pandemic, I would not have been able to continue offering spiritual direction without using Zoom. I also discovered that a group of spiritual directors I knew from our years in training had changed their monthly peer supervision sessions from in-person to Zoom meetings. That allowed me to return to peer supervision with the spiritual directors I knew who lived in another state. I have now registered for peer supervision via Zoom through Spiritual Directors Internations. None of these connections would have been possible without Zoom.
Easy, cost effective method of hosting meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom was very easy to setup. Free to include others. Lots of great features. Compatible with many devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
sound delay makes certain things difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Especially during covid, Zoom provided a cost-effective way to host meetings and other events. It allowed us to keep in touch with others while keeping everyone safe. Outside of covid, zoom provides us with a way to make events accessible to those with mobility issues and gives us options during winter months.
Best Video Calling service for meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to setup and use, it's very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that it logs me out when it updates, which it does pretty often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier for us to communicate with our various partners across the country
User Friendly Communication
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to navigate and self explanatory, its also a breeze to walk others through using. Using thing like polls and mute/unmute, hand raising are all made simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
For a while it was on a setting that auto-raised hand and unmuted, which was distracting, but easy to fix by turning it off in the settings. Maybe don't have this turn on automatically but let the user choose if they wish to use the feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communicating across states/time zones is a breeze and the share screen option is great for helping someone use any computer ap or function they're not used to.
Zoom is easy and efficient
What do you like best about the product?
I'm not very technical but I can use Zoom. Having access to the platform has enabled me to expand my business while not reducing the care or quality of the service I'm providing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Scheduled meetings don't always appear on sign in but if I close the app and sign back in or click the meeting in my calendar instead of from within Zoom, I'm good to go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm a counselor. Zoom allows me to meet with people no matter where they may be located. It allows the group to be made up of people from different parts of the world and it encourages strong bonds between the group members even if they aren't close geographically.
Really excellent service
What do you like best about the product?
I've found zoom to be an extremely useful service that works well. The ability to quickly set up and edit meetings on the fly has been deeply helpful for me. I've really appreciated the ability to connect via phone audio when computer audio hasn't worked.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found that the service, while it works well, has some issues. The primary one is zoom's inability to adequately handle slow web connections. Ideally zoom would have a feature that could get throttle the video connection and enhance the audio connection, though often both slow down, with the video the most slowed down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has helped me to be able to speak with people with a range of different devices and locations. The ability to speak with people who are on different systems and to share my screen has helped a great deal.
Wonderful for our half-remote office
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has been incredibly easy to transition half our office to remote work. With the pro membership, we are able to allow multiple users to co-host meetings so that no meeting is canceled if it does not work with everyones schedules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning how to use multiple webcams whilst screen sharing is not super intuitive, but there are resources available to explain the process. Pinning multiple webcams is a little tricky as well!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has helped our company easily set up meetings internally and with clients. It is easy to send invites directly through zoom and allow clients and prospective clients to share their screens when troubleshooting issues.
Zoom saved my business and income during fhe pandemic, allow me to easily connect with my client.

What do you dislike about the product?
I tend to use 2 devices with the same account for most meetings.
And it always asks me to switch who's in charge.
The app doesn't need to ask if I want to change.

I am now able to expand my business in a direction that allows me to stay connected with my clients and travel.
I can also interact with more clients not having to go to multiple locations.

So much better than Teams - or anything else
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom holds calls even when my Internet connection is slow when other platforms drop the call. Great flexibility and options for breakout rooms and polls makes interaction with big groups really effective.

Literally nothing - everything works as I want it to

We are a training company and decided to stay online permanently after the pandemic because feedback from our Zoom trainings was as good as the face to face trainings, and they were much more profitable
RELIABLE PLATFORM AND EASY TO USE
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom keeps everyone in our company connected. It is userI feel our me-friendly and easy for everyone to use. People can join the meeting using thier computer, laptops, Ipad and phones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that our meetings are more productive and allow people to be heard easier in person.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps everyone in our company connected. There have been no disruptions in our business since we started using zoom. It allows us to connect with business associates in other states and save our company money since we are not traveling as much.
