Easy, functional, efficient!
What do you like best about the product?
I think it is most helpful that it is super user friendly. We use it with youth, staff, and parents and it helps that translation services are so easily accessible that it can be used on a phone or tablet. and the ease of screen and music sharing. I like that you can assign folks to breakout rooms or that they can assign themselves.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the chat feature allowed the use of GIF keyboards and easier hyperlinks. I also wish the amount of screens on gallery mode was higher. And I would like to see more app integration for games etc. Better communication options for breakout rooms. I also don't like that if one person is sharing screen another person cannot share audio. If there are two facilitators/hosts/cohosts they should be able to share at the same time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
zoom is allowing us to meet with our members during a time when meeting in person is not safe or an option. Because of the pandemic, we are not able to meet in person and zoom has helped us hold trainings, large-scale assemblies, and weekly meetings with our community in a safe accessible way.
Satisfied business account user
What do you like best about the product?
The video quality and sound quality are very good compared to other video conferencing software/app. Scheduling meeting is also easy to operate.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface to schedule a meeting is not intuitive, and I still can't set up my background because it showed me error.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easy to talk to teammates across the locations. I have members from Sweden, and in different states, which made the real-time meeting hard. So a quality video conference is essential.
Perfect Solutions for Working with Clients Worldwide
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Zoom has a really easy interface for me and all of my clients to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike about Zoom. I really love it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a personal stylist and image architect, I work with clients all over the world. Zoom makes it easy for me to connect with clients across the globe in various locations and time zones.
Zoom has been a powerful tool for us.
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful admin features for controlling what our users can do or not do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hardware for collaborative spaces like Zoom Rooms can be a huge issue and are often prohibitively expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows for more seamless sharing and meeting in collaborative spaces.
Breakout rooms have helped me digitize the socratic method
What do you like best about the product?
Email is dead. So I totally love that i can totally meet improptu with Dept. colleagues to chat & move forward on shared project objectives. I'm so glad to be done with long email strings. Also, breakout rooms are just awesome - it's the only way I can get my students to engage (lol, when I getout of the way)!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd really like to see Zoom integrated with Microsoft Office's "FindTime" meeting poll. As it stands, I first have to poll the meeting time among the group, then after a meeting time is set, I have to send out an update with the Zoom link. MSO is integrated with MS Teams, but yuck - no breakout rooms!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Breakout rooms are awesome; nobody has that. Pre-pandemic I used Skype to talk with academic colleages overseas. During the pandemic, I found breakout rooms were key for student engagement. I set up a problem in the main room; then small student groups work together in breakout rooms. I float through breakout rooms and help. Without breakout rooms none of the students talk - they just work independently. With breaktout rooms, I see the small groups engaging each other, problemsolving, talking, questioning. Breakout rooms have helped me digitize the socratic method.
I use Zoom primarily for grief support groups.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use for the host and guests.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found anything I dislike about using Zoom. It is easy to use both as an administrator and as a user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of my grief support groups includes 35 people from the US, Canada and Israel. Without Zoom we could not meet to support each other.
Product Manager
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is reliable. I've used it to host a wide range of meetings and to capture recordings for future publication. Through all of those uses, Zoom has been dependable and reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating Zoom's settings can sometimes be difficult. The flexibility that they offer is great, but it can take time and a lot of digging to get to the settings that I need at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes connecting with my colleagues—who are distributed across the country and world—possible and straightforward. Integrations with other services like Google Calendar make it convenient.
Lifesaver during the pandemic and beyond
What do you like best about the product?
It feels like the universal group video now. Everyone is on it and everyone knows how to use it. Simple. Intuitive. Very reliable. I also like how the developers keep adding improvements and new functionality.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that it is so ubiquitous that I can sped all day on it and start to get a bit burnt out. But, otherwise, I can't imagine the pandemic without it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When the pandemic started we had to transition all of our in-person meditation meetings to online. Not only did the majority of our usuals follow up to the new format, but we picked up a bunch of new people from all over the country!
Zoom Review from a Non Profit
What do you like best about the product?
compared to other services, I think that Zoom provides the most consistency with their features. From the audio and visual features to the ability to add 3rd party closed captioning services, it's all very diverse and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not really much to complain about if I'm being honest. The one thing that I don't like is that the closed captioning provided by Zoom is robot generated and not really easy to read. The captions aren't the most accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a person with an autoimmune disorder, I tend to have to stay behind and conduct business virtually while folks work in person. Zoom has managed to add more interactive features to make this experience more tolerable and even fun
Working With Customers Who need some video help
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and a very recognizable brand. It can be used on multiple types of devices and platforms so you are not limited to how you can connect.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface is not the same across the platforms it is used on. So when trying to explain to the customer how to flip their camera, that function is not on the same spot for everyone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are times that I am troubleshooting with a customer and I need to be able to see what they are seeing. They may call a part by a different name, or just do not know how something is assembled or how it works with other components. Being able to video chat helps with some of those issues and also puts a face to customer service. Which helps with brand loyalty and recognition.
