Zoom is invaluable for our business
What do you like best about the product?
We record a tonne of our content directly in Zoom - the split tracks for each participant is what made us make the switch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much honestly - I'd always like higher recording quality of course!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording podcasts and interviews remotely with high quality in a format familiar to everyone.
Used before pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use and connection was very easy. I was instrumental in getting our department to switch from WebEx to Zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not found any downsides of using zoom. I was a champion before the pandemic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting meetings done over long distances and with teams in different locations.
Zoom has expanded my memoir writing & ghostwriting business by offering eye contact remotely!
What do you like best about the product?
The personal feeling and great quality of video and audio.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom sometimes does not show my meetings for the day. I'm not sure why it doesn't but it skips some meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has allowed my small business to be more competitive with larger firms. I have expanded my customer base nationally now. My business performance has greatly increased, as well.
We used Zoom for online tutoring during Covid and are still using it. It's very user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can share your screen and also that everyone can interact with each other and also write on the screen. What I also like is that you can see each other and the connections are good.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I start a meeting I always have to change the share button so everyone can share. Sometimes it's also hard to understand people because the speakers and mic is not connecting at the first time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped us and students doing homework and tutoring during Covid while the schools were closed. It helped us to provide a service to parents who needed child care.
Zoom Helped my Business Grow
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Zoom for the last several years, even before Covid made it a household name, and I loved working with the platform. It's easy to use, and stable, and I love the innovative things Zoom has done over the years with backgrounds, chat, and connections to YouTube and Facebook.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't like having to use a password or waiting for clients to be admitted to Zoom meetings. However, I totally understand why that came about during Covid days. To be honest, I'm so used to it now that it really isn't very bothersome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves two things for me: 1. It gives my clients and me a stable platform to share information, and 2. It interfaces with YouTube and Facebook so that I can broadcast my work to my community. Before Zoom, there wasn't an easy way to do that.
Zoom just works
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a simple solution that appears to just work and most people can figure it out, even elementrary kids.
What do you dislike about the product?
The floating windows can be frustrating. When sharing a different monitor, zoom collapses to a floating toolbar, then chat is minimized, etc. Zoom should stay to a fixed window and not separate chat, participants, etc., and stay maximized. I would prefer to see a preview of what the student sees, especially when using two or more monitor (which most business users have now).

Easy access for a diverse group of users.
Fantastic for virtual meetings and being able to share information quickly.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share my screen and also interact with collaborators from across the USA.
What do you dislike about the product?
The glitchyess and the amount of system memory used.

Being able to still play dungeons and dragons even with the pandemic going on and also was able to have so many more people attend my dissertation defense.
Great Tool for These Times
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allows us to connect over great distances, and to accomplish tasks more efficiently than we would have otherwise. Our missions team, in particular, has shorter and more focused meetings with Zoom than we did when we gathered in person. I've also found it an easy way to connect with parishioners who just need a short meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is difficult to have a true conversation with Zoom, as no one is quite sure who is to talk next. It does not work well with our small group studies, for instance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, Zoom has become a great time saver as well as a way to cut down on fuel usage. It also allows us to include members who are out of town for a particular part of the year.
Easy and affordable for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
My favourite thing about Zoom is that I can provide a secure teleconferencing solution to my clients at a price that is affordable for my small business.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there were more features available as a single user, but truthfully there isn't much I cant do at the "entry" level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When COVID hit, I feared losing all that I had built. But Zoom offered an affordable way to transition to digital consultations and helped me keep my business running.
Perfect for our needs
What do you like best about the product?
We can use Zoom very flexibly for Audio working sessions (recording, reviewing mixes) etc. but also host meetings. It gives us one solid, reliable platform instead of having to use many different clients, and is also user-friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Security is good at this moment, but could be better. We also experienced some issues with migrating existing company accounts over under our main account, and didn't have much luck resolving it.

We have clients and production partners working the world over - Zoom has given us the opportunity to connect and screen seamlessly.
