AI Companion Summaries Make Zoom Workplace a Reliable Second Brain

  • February 20, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Zoom Workplace is how it has evolved from a simple video tool into a genuine second brain via the AI Companion. Most of us are juggling too many meetings, so having the AI automatically summarize calls and list out action items is a total lifesaver, especially since it's included without an extra fee. It’s also just remarkably reliable; while other platforms tend to lag or crash when your Wi-Fi dips, Zoom usually keeps the connection solid and the interface clean, even now that they’ve tucked chat, docs, and calendar all into one spot.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest headache for most people is the "feature bloat" and the busier interface. Since Zoom transformed into a "Workplace" hub, the app feels a lot more cluttered than it used to; finding specific settings can feel like a scavenger hunt, and it’s a bit of a resource hog on older laptops. There’s also the "add-on fatigue"—it feels like every advanced feature (like translated captions, large webinars, or extra cloud storage) requires a separate monthly fee, which gets expensive fast. Lastly, while the AI Companion is helpful, it’s not perfect; it can struggle with heavy accents or fast-talkers, sometimes producing summaries that miss the "vibe" or nuance of a conversation, meaning you still have to double-check its work before sending it to a client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By pulling chat, meetings, mail, and docs into one window, it stops you from hunting through browser tabs to find information.
The AI Companion summarizes missed meetings and long threads, saving you from re-watching recordings or reading hundreds of messages.
You can turn a chat brainstorm into a live "Zoom Doc" or a video call with one click, keeping the momentum of your work moving.

Easy-to-Navigate Zoom Interface

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can’t tell you how much I appreciated the Zoom interface (we went from Zoom to Microsoft Teams, reluctantly); everything just felt so intuitive. In a world where tech can feel like a constant hurdle, being able to move around so effortlessly felt like a weight off my shoulders. It’s rare to find a platform that actually stays out of your way and lets you just focus on the human connection. And sharing a screen was a blessing disguise compared to other platforms...during the start of the pandemic, Zoom was such an easy integration and use into our workflow. We used it all the time as it was our number one tool for our virtual classes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The limit of only 40 minutes for personal accounts. If Zoom could just stretch that limit to 60 minutes, it would make a world of difference. An hour feels like a natural rhythm—it’s enough time to actually catch up, share a laugh, or finish a thought without that looming sense of urgency. It would turn a "transactional" call back into a genuine connection.. But, I get it, if you want more than 40 minutes, the classic nudge toward a paid plan you need to upgrade.

I’m grateful to have the Business plan through work, I make it a point not to mix business with pleasure. It’s a matter of principle for me; It’s important to me to stay ethical and keep those lines clear, even when no one is looking. So, yeah, I would have liked the limit to 60 minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In all honesty, we really enjoyed using Zoom—it never let us down.

Effortless Remote Collaboration, Minor Interface Tweaks Needed

  • February 19, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Zoom Workplace mainly for team meetings, client calls, and quick internal catch-ups. It helps us stay connected, share screens easily, and collaborate smoothly even when everyone is working remotely. What I like most about Zoom Workplace is how simple and reliable it is. The interface is clean, meetings run smoothly, and features like screen sharing and chat just work without any hassle. Screen sharing helps us explain ideas clearly without long explanations, especially during client demos or internal reviews. The chat feature is great for sharing quick links, notes, or follow-up points without interrupting the meeting flow. Together they make discussions more productive. It integrates well into our existing workflow and keeps everything connected. We switched to Zoom Workplace for its reliability and better overall meeting experience. The initial setup was very straightforward. It only took a few minutes to configure accounts and settings, and most features were intuitive so the team didn't need much training to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area that could be improved is occasional connectivity or audio glitches during large meetings. Also the interface can feel slightly overwhelming with so many features packed in. A more streamlined layout would make it even better
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom Workplace for team meetings, client calls, and quick internal catch-ups. It solves the challenge of staying aligned remotely, reduces emails, makes collaboration quicker, ensures clear communication, and the chat feature aids in productive discussions.

Seamless, Reliable Meetings with Powerful Features in Zoom Workplace

  • February 18, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the Zoom Workplace is its ability to provide such seamless meeting support and various features like recording, addons, and others. It helps to schedule a meeting/call quickly, or at a particular time. Its efficient calling feature provides great reliability in terms of support.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t really dislike anything, but I would appreciate either a slight price reduction or the option to add more members in a single meeting when setting up a meeting. Because of this limitation, we sometimes have to switch to other platforms for meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us by providing meeting support through both audio and video calls. In addition, it helps with managing participants for webinar or event calls as well. That’s why I prefer Zoom over others.
