A Go-To Platform for Seamless Virtual Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Zoom Workplace (previously just Zoom) for over three years both for remote work and collaborating across different departments and time zones. Overall, it has become one of the more dependable platforms for virtual meetings and communication. The audio/video quality is consistently solid, even on slower connections, and recent updates have improved performance and added helpful features like AI-powered meeting summaries, breakout room enhancements, and whiteboarding.
One of the best aspects of Zoom Workplace is how easy it is to onboard new team members. The interface is intuitive, and it integrates well with tools like Google Calendar, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. That said, Zoom can still feel disjointed when switching between its different modules chat, meetings, whiteboard, phone, etc. It sometimes feels like a collection of separate tools instead of one unified experience. Also, Zoom Chat still doesn’t quite match up to Slack or Teams when it comes to internal communication for larger teams.

Zoom Workplace is reliable and versatile, especially for meetings and webinars. While there's room to improve the chat and integration across modules, I’d still recommend it to most teams looking for a dependable communication platform. I really like Zoom for meetings, but the platform can feel a bit disjointed like the chat, whiteboard, and phone features don’t fully connect smoothly. The chat especially isn’t as strong as Slack or Teams. Also, some updates can be buggy, and the pricing for extra features adds up quickly. Still great for video calls, but the overall user experience could be more unified.

Whether it's scheduling, drafting agendas, or summarizing calls these repetitive tasks pull focus from meaningful work. Zoom’s AI automates them: it schedules follow-ups, generates documents, and provides real-time or post-meeting summaries all within the workspace. Managing several platforms with overlapping features or confusing add-ons can hurt productivity and budgets. Zoom Workplace bundles chat, video, phone, and whiteboard functionalities under one roof, simplifying tech stacks and support needs. As teams split between in-person and remote, coordinating space, presence, and meetings gets tough. Zoom Workplace’s Workspaces tools (desk reservation, visitor management, Zoom Rooms enhancements) streamline hybrid collaboration.

Zoom Keeps Remote Work Simple
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Zoom is reliable even with average internet. The interface is clean, and joining a meeting only takes a click. Features like virtual backgrounds and chat make meetings more engaging.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, the video can lag if too many people are on the call. Also, large meetings can feel harder to manage without advanced controls.

Zoom makes it easy to stay connected with clients and coworkers from anywhere. It cuts down travel costs, keeps projects moving, and helps us run training sessions online without needing physical space.

Easy but powerful video calls
What do you like best about the product?
I've always liked how easy it is to send invitation links to anyone for a video call whether or not they have a Zoom account. I don't have to go searching for their username, just send the link and meet. Zoom also does a good job handling multiple participants and sharing screens. The breakout rooms are also useful.

What do you dislike about the product?
The tool bar along the top during screensharing can be a bit annoying. It blocks the browser tabs, and it can be tricky to time the cursor just right to make the bar disappear.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I frequently need a platform to facilitate video calls with screensharing, sometimes with multiple participants. Zoom allows an easy platform to invite anyone to that call, whether immediately, or scheduled two weeks from now. Waiting rooms and passwords also help the host keep the call safe and secure for all users.

I like that everything is in one place meetings, chat, whiteboard, phone so I don’t have to switch between too many apps

it has so many features, new users might feel a little overwhelmed at first.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that you can pre-schedule your meetings and send out the links ahead of time. It's great that you can share your screen so everyone can see what you are doing which is more effective than just listening. You can change your backgrounds and enhance your apperance which is nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I dislike, I really enjoy Zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can have consultation meetings with clients which makes first impressions better since they can actually see my face and I can share a presentation during the meeting to enhance the experience.
