Zoom Makes Connections

What do you like best about the product?
Using Zoom over the last 2.5 years, I've been able to grow my business & expand my network, connect with those who matter, & build a robust networking community of dedicated artists with aligned vision & goals to my own. Before the Pandemic, I never used to care for video calling, but now, I prefer it to other communications! People want to call me on the phone, and I tell them, "Nah, let's hop on a Zoom!"
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if Zoom had multiple-destination streaming included. As an online content creator, I go live often, and I dislike paying for multiple services to do the same thing. I have a subscription to Zoom AND to Streamyard, but if I had been able to use Zoom to simulcast to Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch, I would have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remote communication has never been more crucial than it is now. The ability to meet with my clients through Zoom and walk them through any troubles they're facing using video and screensharing is immensely valuable to me.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use for me & my customers. I can set appointments and a link is generated and sent to my customer with confirmation of service. This is through email & is all automated!
What do you dislike about the product?
I love Zoom everything really works great. I dont Have any complaints. My experience has been very positive. Keep it up!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making virtual appointments seem less and easy. The automatic processes with my google calendar creates my schedule for me. This makes it possible to focus on the quality of service.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface - setting up meetings, adjusting settings, integrating with my calendar. Almost everyone I interact with knows how to use it, so we spend less time on technical support at the start of a meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're on an annual meetings plan, you can't add any of the add-ons (like webinars) on a monthly/as-needed basis. You either have to take them on annual basis (which is really expensive - especially if you only need them sporadically) or downgrade your monthly meetings plan to a monthly subscription (losing the annual meetings subscription savings). Feels shady.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing video calls can be time-consuming in some apps - managing all the calls in one central location saves me time and increases productivity, efficiency, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy. I use it for the University class I teach and for my own personal use. The University gave all instructors a free account from another provider but after using it once, I paid for my own Zoom account. (The University has since switched providers to Zoom). Mainly I use it for general information sharing and breakout rooms, but I also appreciate the polling feature. I also appreciate that it's easy to check my audio connection.
What do you dislike about the product?
I used to dislike the weird shadows that appeared around people's heads when they had their background blurred, but that's been resolved. I wish there was an easier way to stop the blur for a couple of seconds so someone could hold up something they want to show the group without it blurring out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ROFL! Without videoconferencing, we wouldn't have been able to have class during the pandemic. Meetings that used to require travel can now be handled via Zoom. I don't have to go to campus for office hours, I hold them from my home.

What do you like best about the product?
It works well for all ages and personal/business needs. Features are rich and extremely useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because Zoom is still an independent vendor they do not integrate as tightly with other internal scheduling tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They have done a great job with break-out rooms and work-from-home Onboarding for companies.

Easy way to communicate face to face, when you can't be live

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is super easy for all to use. it's easy to explain to people. On the back end, statistics are easy and helpful. It's simplicity at its finest.
What do you dislike about the product?
One cannot control the size of the windows. So it's hard to have the program up and be doing something else in a different application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It was a lifesaver during Covid. Now, it allows people to participate when they are traveling, sick, etc. It's allowed us to expand our offerings to others.

Feature Loaded and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Zoom has a load of features and they keep investing to make it better with each update they do. It's also very intuitive. So I don't have to take a class to figure out how to do things. I can just figure it out on my own. They also have great service. They have solved the issues I've had quickly and pleasantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration with the plugin on outlook was a little glitchy. I don't know if that's a Zoom thing or our cloud thing. If some how this already came included with Outlook that would be great but I guess that will never happen since they have Teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They've fixed and actively improve the security of Zoom. This is crucial for our organization as we have employees all over. Our performance with Zoom has caused us to be able to hire many remote employees. Thus we have increased our talent pool to choose from when looking at candidates.

What do you like best about the product?
It works on any device that can reach the internet!
What do you dislike about the product?
Impersonal. You don't get the "real" face to face, however, it's as close at it gets if not in person!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When someone works from home, they can still be a part of the meeting. Also, if I am on a call with someone and want to show them something (screen share) we can quickly jump on a zoom call to share.

I undertstand the platform and use it for all my web based meetings. It has all the features I need.

The ZOOM server went down once, when I was conducting a large video conference. No explanation when I inquired. There should be some compensation for these types of catastrophic failures. I have not had a failer like this since ...

Not sure. I would suggest when there is a large server failure that all ZOOM meetings in progress be notified ...
