Zoom has been very useful to me as a pastor. Facilites staying in touch with church folk.
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it easy for church members who can't be present physically to still be able to attend our church meetings.
When conducting small groups with members or other pastors, the share screen features make relaying information and media to other participants easy and dynamic.

What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't like that when I schedule a zoom meeting ahead of time on PC, there is always a Windows Outlook pop-up prompting me to send an email. It's annoying because I don't use Outlook and I have to take a few seconds to cancel out of some extra windows before I can move on to what I need to do.
The option to send an email invite should be an optional feature provided AFTER Zoom meetings have been scheduled instead of making it part of the scheduling process.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to be able to meet with other pastors and church members that are restricted by physical distance. In this way, geography doesn't become an obstacle to human interaction.

Easy and straightforward to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Most people have experience with zoom, so asking folks to use zoom is a familiar experience (contrasted with some other video conferencing solutions). Additionally, having the ability to have a dedicated zoom room solution has been great to allow the hybridization of events and meetings that previously could only have been in-person.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a non-profit, I wish there were more direct solutions to getting reduced fees/pricing. While we can work through tech-soup, the process is rather convoluted and would require a lot of work on our end that we don't have the resources to accomplish.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a church, Zoom allowed our congregation to transition smoothly to meeting in a virtual, and later hybrid manner as the pandemic progressed. It has allowed our community to continue with the business and work even when we were unable to gather in person. Now, it allows people to be more engaged even while traveling or away for the winter.
Always Reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Video and audio are always clear, even when hosting international calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I'd improve is the clarity of video for background blurring. This is one area where Zoom is behind other platforms. The quality gets weird if you have curly hair and with different levels of depth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to have a fully remote team, schedule within the platform and have it sync with my calendar. I also like that my team members can have their own accounts and record meetings. When I have international calls, I used to use Teams, the call would always lag. I don't have that issue with Zoom.
Very Good Service -- Helped a Lot During the Pandemic
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. It's very easy to set up meetings and share them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Video quality is often low. It would be nice to have the option to have better video.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom seems to be solving its audio problems. Audio is much clearer now, which makes meetings better and more enjoyable.
Zoom is an excellent online meeting platform for users from every background.
What do you like best about the product?
Invitation links that can stay the same from one meeting to the next. Customizing my PIN and Meeting ID to something memorable, like a phone number.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could, as the host, determine the order of the participants on the screen, and that they were consistent from one user to the next. Not a major thing, but something that might be helpful for teachers or business meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm unaware of any major issues that Zoom is troubleshooting at the moment that affect how me and my team use the platform.
Very good audio/video, and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
Good video and audio. Also easy for people to join the meetings. I like that we can embed password for those we trust

At times we had difficulty signing on. Also I wish there was a better tiered pricing for businesses. We (our church) is using the lowest tier and the next tier was too expensive.

Remote meetings. Initially during the pandemic, we also used ZOOM to livestream the worship service

What do you like best about the product?
Screen sharing and feeling connected when you physically can not be.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had trouble getting my set background to stay consistent between portals. A white board feature would be helpful.

I am not sure what issues Zoom has been trying to solve!
Reliable and Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is a reliable tool. It has been error-free for me, which is huge, as dropped calls have been a problem on other platforms. It has also been intuitive and easy to learn.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited features on the free plan. I had to upgrade to access all the features I needed for my business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom makes it possible for me to host conference calls, with or without video. It simplifies the problem of allowing everyone to connect at the same time and share visuals.

It's very easy to use and very universal

It is very easy to use and does everything that I need it to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Again, it's very easy to use. It is not really complicated and even the least techy person can easily use it. It really doesn't bring people together.
A useful tool in todays world
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is great for setting up meetings in COVID 19 world. It's easy to integrate with prexisting calendar systems. We use it with outlook and it's fantastic. We also are a fan of all the settings like allowing folks to join whenever or breakout rooms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes changing a meeting can be cumbersome. It feels almost easier to cancel a meeting If certain settings are not what you wanted rather than just change the settings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just this week in 2022 we had 3 meetings scheduled for In person meetings with unrelated parties that all had caught an illness but wanted to meet still. This allows for that.
