Best videoconferencing API

What do you like best about the product?
The Zoom API is scalable, easy to use, and on top of that, users prefer and ask for Zoom! We have been using the Zoom API for over 1 year now and we are happy with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost can be high as you add more users. Their customer support could also be better as we have inquired a few times about their price increases with only 1 month notice, and as a social impact startup, it is difficult when we dont have much of a notice
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to connect our users to videoconferencing, have a unique link on each meeting that is scheduled through our platform, and it has benefited us because Zoom is so reliable

Small Credit Union, Big Reach with Zoom

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom allowed us to easily connect with our members and SEG groups during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are a small credit union that does educational outreach to members and SEG groups, and in-person events were not an option for us in 2020. Zoom allowed us to reach our audience and stay connected with them ever since. Even as more things open back up in-person, we rely on Zoom as a way to reach our members on their time instead of having them come to a physical location. It's helped us broaden our audience as well as our financial education topics. We have even held our Annual Meeting through Zoom since 2020 and it's allowed more members to join us at their convenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much to dislike about Zoom. It is user-friendly for operators, panelists, and participants. If I had to get nit-picky, I would say some of the Host functionality doesn't always work as expected (such as the ability to control the background of all panelists in a webinar).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom has solved how we reach our members on their time instead of ours. As a small Credit Union, we're only open 5 days a week from 9-5. Our members work and have lives and families. Zoom helps us deliver financial education to them at a time convenient for them to listen in and ask questions instead of having to physically be present.

Love being in the Zoom

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has slowed me to meet with clients, teach and coach and visit with friends.
What do you dislike about the product?
People are tired of looking at screens, but zoom makes it easy to meet and breakout in small groups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Commuting is easy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only have to have battery power or wall power and a place for my computer. I love the convenience of it.

What do you like best about the product?
No latency, very important especially for my business this is very critical. I like the quality and no get problems at all when doing meetings or host webinars.
What do you dislike about the product?
I actually do not dislike anything about zoom, one thing id say is everytime i make a meeting i have to disavle waiting room i would like if there was an automation to that
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving latency problems which is very critical for my business, i used to do youtube live but latency was really bad and this is most important thing to me for my business.

Easy and Simple To Use

What do you like best about the product?
Easy for everyone to use and understand. Regardless of age or computer skills, everyone that we have used Zoom with has been able to easily understand what to do with the program and jump right in.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish could stay signed in on multiple device. Because my work requires me to be "on the go" a lot of the time, I am using many different devices. I always have to log in on the device I am using since it is usually different from the last device I was using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom solves the connection issue problem we see with other programs. With other programs, if someone in a meeting has poor internet we all can visually see the problem and it slows down the call or meeting.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, lots of features, nice interface. Zoom room integrations are a plus. Integration with other apps (Outlook)
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can only be signed in to the Zoom app on one computer at a time. I frequently switch between my work computer and home computer and it would be nice to not have to sign in every time. Another issue is that I often get a message about 'low system resources' or 'unstable connection' while using Zoom, but I am not sure if this is a Zoom issue or a PC/internet issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have not yet returned to fully in person meetings, so it's great to be able to meet with colleagues easily over Zoom. We also have consultants in various parts of the country/world, and in general Zoom works pretty well.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility. When having a meeting, being able to switch to what works best. When podcasting, I like that there's an option to separate the audio channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much at this point. Any issues I've had have been more on how the Mac OS interacts with the app. That there are times when you have to relaunch the app in order to get a function to work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it quite a bit for podcasting. Before I would have to be in a location to record an episode. Now I can record with folks from all over the world.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Zoom is the accessibility to virtually anyone around the world with an internet connection and a mobile or tablet device. I also use Microsoft Teams as mandated by my kids' school district when conducting parent-teacher meetings and I have to admit, it is easier to log in to zoom.
What do you dislike about the product?
What is a challenge is when my internet connection is weak and the audio distorts as though I was in the matrix. Also, it would be helpful if the zoom instructions were clearer in troubleshooting. (I.e., muting all participants immediately upon entering the meeting room.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to connect with colleagues who do not live in my city. My outreach is far greater. I feel like I'm living the life of the Jetsons! :) This has led to more business partners who live on the other side of the country.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it very easy to use for users of all skill levels. The virtual background allows for easy privacy for folks working from all around. Easy to use mobile devices to connect.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides to using Zoom. Would like better ability to create shared accounts for business function use, versus specific user use. I wish it were easier to move between devices during a call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Zoom to facilitate physician video visits, meetings with parties outside of the company, as well as a replacement for an aging Skype for Business system.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Zoom the most helpful in keeping connected with clients and friends who live out of state or even the country in which I live. Not only can I communicate with them but I can also share information and media with them.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful about zoom is that free accounts are limited to 40 minutes for three or more connections in a meeting, but it is a realistic limit. And on occasion how quickly it can drain my device's battery can be an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves how to meet up with others when we are physically far apart, in different states, or in helping us maintain safety measures in meeting together when one or more attendees is not feeling well.
