I believe breakrooms are the most effective tool in Zoom, we use them mostly during our bible studies to encourage interactions and communication, its much easier to engage in smaller audiences.

To be honest, the pricing structure when you are still a small organization, I believe one of the greatest improvements would be to allow people to participate without having to have a client installed on their computer.

Zoom has helped us integrate into the new way of conducting business, gatherings and others. We were terrified of the infrastructure we were going to need but Zoom showed us we needed none.

If I have to point out one thing I don't much like about Zoom is that the cloud storage space I have isn't enough for what I need. But I have a workaround — it takes longer for me to upload a video that I recorded locally, but it works, too.

I teach Portuguese lessons to students from all over the world. Most of my students are in the US and in China. And I have been able to use Zoom with both audiences seamlessly. It's also good that it integrates perfectly with my scheduling solution. It automatically creates safe links to be shared with students. And when it's time to attend the lesson, students just need to click the link they have been emailed before by the integration of acuity and zoom.

If you are a private teacher like me or a consultant who needs to be in touch with customers on a regular basis, do sign up for a monthly or yearly subscription with zoom. It's pretty cheap and it's an investment. If you have employees who need to use zoom, consider investing in a group subscription. In addition to removing limitations, signing up for a subscription gives you more control over your account. I've seen many private teachers complaining about the limitations that some has. They mentioned that Skype has no limitations. But Skype has a lot of problems, to the point it's unusable if you need to be 6 to 8 hours and for the computer fishing classes like me.

Zoom is most helpful because it is free for the basic features and it is simple! It has all the features anyone could need and it can be accessed on any platform. I also love that they are constantly adding new features!

I dislike that Zoom puts a roughly one-hour limit on their zoom meetings for free users. For a long time, they extended this limit for education institutions during COVID-19, but this has now been lifted.

The only downside to Zoom is that there's a small lag in the streaming/video chatting with people depending on the phone that you have. It works best with iPhone but honestly all my family have android so there is a small lag.

Zoom's UX and UI are flawless. It's pretty intuitive and getting anything done is pretty seamless. You can create new meetings in a matter of seconds and send invitations to anyone you'd like to join. The home screen has quick-to-use buttons to aid you in your conference needs. You can join anyone's meeting by clicking on the Join button and entering the meeting ID and password. Using any calendar of your choice, you can schedule your meeting on Zoom effortlessly. When scheduling, there's a box you can tick if you want to make it a recurring meeting, where you can choose the pattern for it to recur. By default, the video is off for all participants, but you can turn it on so that you can see the other participants face-to-face. You can sync Outlook, Google, or any other calendar that you're already using for appointments, meetings, schedules, etc., to set reminders. If you have any other event on that particular date and time, Zoom will warn you before you save the meeting about the conflict. You can also tick the option to have your meeting recorded automatically on your computer, which will start recording as soon as the meeting starts so you won't have to click on the button manually. This feature has helped us in many instances where we forgot to manually hit the record button.

You can send chat messages on Zoom that you can manage efficiently through folders. If you're in multiple chat rooms and can't keep track of all the notifications, Zoom will show you all the messages in which you were mentioned so you can prioritize them first where your attention is required. You can add bots on Zoom for many different uses. Zoom is excellent for content collaboration and teamwork. You can create whiteboards and invite people to collaborate with you on them. The whiteboards can be extended to create documents, spreadsheets, and text files that you can edit simultaneously with your peers when you have a group task to complete. There's no option to automatically accept incoming calls on Zoom. This feature exists on Skype and has been pretty useful. I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't be there on Zoom either.

Zoom was the software that helped me work conveniently during COVID-19. Even now, I can work from home through Zoom and there's no difficulty performing any task because Zoom has a solution for everything. I can have meetings with my team at any time of the day as Zoom has no downtime and can be used on any machine such as PCs, mobile phones, laptops, tablets, etc. We can work together on Zoom with the help of the whiteboard, which we can create and share with the meeting room for brainstorming and visualizing the thoughts and ideas shared in a drawn form. There's no need for us to keep 4-5 applications running at the same time when we can access them all on Zoom seamlessly when we're collaborating on any content. Our team also specializes in training sessions for new hires, for which we're able to have our training courses through Zoom. Screen-sharing helps greatly in sharing our screens, work applications, codes, and even our phones when we run into uncommon problems. For the foreseeable future, we're going to be working from home and the transition has been extremely easy thanks to Zoom covering all areas of work important to us. Long-distance calls through Zoom Phone make it easy to communicate with anyone around the world, which is vital for us to maintain strong contact with partners and customers from other countries.
