Lots of functionality to help with the new work/school from home culture

What do you like best about the product?
I like that on top of being a video communication option for the modern world, you can also do things like present your screen, connect and control someone's screen, draw on slides, amongst many other things. It is helpful for a lot of different types of meeting formats as well as beneficial in the IT field to present and instruct users. Features like break out rooms have also been useful in many different ways. It works well on my computer, tablet, and phone which is also a good option for when one is on the go. I feel like everytime I log into zoom I discover a new feature to make life easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be very laggy, even more than google meet, which is why we tend to still use Meet for most of our general, larger meetings. While having a stronger internet connection helps, it is not always possible, and meet tends to be more stable in that field overall. Sometimes I have trouble getting my bluetooth speakers to properly connect and even when they are connected the volume seems very low no matter what I do. I feel like, as a premium user, audio should not be the main problem I am having.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product has helped with long-distance communication, maintaining social relationships, meeting for the class as well as meeting with outside vendors for work. I like all of the tools that it has for classroom use and learning. It feels intuitive and allows for a more direct experience when learning new material. Features like break out rooms have been useful in many of the classes I have taken so far as well as being useful for interviews. I have attended several webinars on zoom as well and it always goes smoothly. I am glad we are way passed the time of having to use laggy Skype for everything!

Zoom Through Your Meetings

What do you like best about the product?
Capacity to include upto 100 people in a meeting and the option to increase when required with a top up. Also love that anyone in a meeting can share screen, when allowed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't pin chat from moederator. Very invonvenient that the chat has to reposted everytime new people enter the room. Zoom needs to provide this option when other streaming services has the option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to meet virtually in a convenient way and also to conduct training. Great tool for meetings as attendees don't have to install the app. Also great that breakout rooms can be created for participants when they have registered.Zoom works without any hassles.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best practice is to always use a LAN cable to make sure no disruptions. Participants should join using computers rather than phones.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom provide all basic facilities that we need for formal business video calls. Be it sharing file, privacy settings, filter to cover background and much more.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Zoom in our organization since one year and didn't find any such thing which I don't like. But if Zoom can add custom design filter and allow basic call with more participants would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom gives us opportunity to connect with all colleagues and feel like we're in office. We can add number of participants and all facilities provided which we need for video conferencing.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Zoom, the quality is excellent, it's so easy to set up - it's only been a few days, but I honestly can't imagine running my business without it.
I am able to have meetings with anyone at any time. I have tried other solutions, but Zoom is the best.
The audio, video, and screen sharing are great.
The integration with Slack makes it easy to start meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing in Zoom that I don't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is one of the most efficient meeting tools I've ever used. It is cloud-based and offers a lot of features that allow you to customize your meeting to your needs. The best part is its ability to allow you to broadcast your meeting to your audience. It's great to see how they're interacting with the presentation and how they're responding to the questions. It offers many features that make it easier to manage the meeting and very easily handle any technical issues.

Best meeting over Zoom

What do you like best about the product?
due to the pandemic, the collaboration tools become a daily use tool, So how to make your selection. Mainly I had tried all the famous video conferencing tools. But really I found that Zoom is the most powerful one. I use Zoom daily to meet with my caullege and do interviews even I found also my kids using it for the remote sessions and training.
What do you dislike about the product?
absolutely nothing I disliked in Zoom, I have just a recommendation for them to make the free meeting duration larger than 40 minutes. also if they can accept larger files for the file transfer tool, I know the storage headache but if Zoom increases it by 10% it would be better for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is the easiest tool to schedule and share an invitation compared to Webex or GoMeeting or any other tool, Zoom helps me to communicate with others from any device anywhere with the best voice and video quality.

User friendly

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has all the necessary tools for people to have video conferences. They mastered the details that makes a video conference an excelent one; easy to use, awesome video quiality, and supress noise settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The most common thing I hear and see is people being unable to connect their audio devices or camera devices if they are separate from the computer they are using. It would be beneficial to make that step as user-friendly as possible, especially for people that are not too familiar with the technology.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to talk to almost anyone, especially with an enterprise account, it becomes effortless to look for people and call them. Also the options you have to make small groups within a call for workshops and different activities gives zoom a differentiator

The Ideal Companion for the Home Office!

What do you like best about the product?
During the Covid-19 pandemic, I used Zoom a lot more. The mobile app is a great way to catch up with meetings while I am on the run. Although I am using the free plan now, I will buy a premium plan very soon.
Zoom is, without a doubt, the best meeting software available. It's not just because of its features, but also because of how easy it is to use. Zoom's user interface is somewhat traditional, whereas competitors take a more modern approach. Also, the screen sharing tool is handy and has many features.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of them is Zoom's inability to host longer-term meetings. Another issue is that it can't use my phone's features, such as recording. Overall, bugs, audio dropouts, and connectivity issues are the most serious issues I've encountered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used to travel to my students for lessons before Covid-19, but during Covid-19, I solved this problem by using Zoom Conferencing. Some of the meetings I've held have been via Zoom.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom is a great technological tool that, when used correctly, will give you all great results. Please take time to read more on using zoom correctly on google.

Great way to meet with my clients and deliver my service

  • February 03, 2022
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to set up meetings with Zoom and I like the way you can manipulate the size and positioning of the Zoom window. It does this much better than the competitors. Its the main reason I use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to complain about. I was a bit annoyed with the change when you now have to either have a password to let people in to the meeting. I wish that feature could be turned off for small meetings. It is annoying, and in a 2-person meeting, I am not worried about people barging in on the meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was using a different meeting software that was more expensive and less functional and with my clients increasingly asking for online meetings, even before COVID, this was the right solution for me.

The most helpful software for my needs

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom contains multiple features, which help serve many purposes, making it a versatile tool. Its primary goal is to make discussing and conferencing streamlined, which it does excellently. You can have conference rooms with one or more participants and use them as mediums for all your uses. Conference rooms, once created, are non-expiring and reusable for future conferences and webinars. You can use the chat to discuss and send messages with the other participants. Messages on Zoom are in threads, making it easier to reply to or quote specific messages to bring emphasis during your sessions. Zoom is outstanding as a program for sessions and conferences relating to work. You can screen-share what you're doing in conferences rooms, which the other participants are free to join to view. If you're not comfortable sharing your entire desktop and want privacy, you can choose a specific window to share while hiding the rest of your screen. You can open the virtual whiteboard while you're sharing your screen to use the pen tool to mark and annotate. You can also pass the control to another participant to let them draw, making it practical for instances where you may want to seek someone's help.

Zoom is excellent for remote work in general due to its robust tools for making your job easier and improving overall communication. You can integrate it with many applications you may use on a regular basis for carrying out tasks, such as Slack and Dropbox for better collaboration. File sharing on Zoom is excellent and quick, but it restricts how big the file can be for uploading. But from the app marketplace, you can make seamless integrations with cloud hosting software to send confidential and essential data securely and in bulk.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom is excellent in every feature that I've used so far, and I can't say there's anything that I dislike. I've been using it for years and more extensively for the past two years, and it has never given me any reason to consider a different alternative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is my most helpful software as it makes remote work possible by not only making conferences streamlined but also by providing the necessary tools to collaborate. My team and I have been using it extensively for the past couple of years to work during the pandemic, and it's been an absolute delight as we're able to keep up our pace. Zoom ensures that we don't slow down on our work due to technical difficulties. We can maintain excellent communication throughout our workdays for any need, whether discussions, project planning, or general assistance. Zoom is usable on mobiles and other portable devices such as tablets, making it easier and quicker to message or meet virtually during any emergency. Zoom is so versatile that we also use it for business discussions and customer queries, where we can have a live chat service for feedback and support. Not only does it help that we can see each other face-to-face and screen-share to assist and get out point across in situations that need it. Zoom can also work as an excellent calling service for phones and numbers across the world. For saving the session for reviewing or summarizing into a report, Zoom allows us to record them at any moment. As a daily user of Zoom, I can say that it's made working more productive and efficient for my entire organization.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can use Zoom for free, which alone is an excellent selling point to start using it. Based on my experience and dependence on it daily, I will recommend it to anyone with second thoughts about trying it. It's excellent and gets the job done, to put it briefly.

Zoom is a great app for business and personal use to meet!

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it easy to connect with friends, family, coworkers, and more through its simple and intuitive user interface. Not only is it simple, it is also full-featured. The ability to screen share and remote control someone's computer for troubleshooting is one of my favorite features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure there is much I dislike about Zoom. Zoom has been consistent in my time using it. I think the user interface could use an update to make it look a little more modern, but that's it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving a variety of IT-related issues, and being able to control a user's computer remotely is a lifesaver. It also helps with meetings where we discuss business changes.
