What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about zoom is that it's very easy to use and easy to understand. It's able to manage a team of 40+ people and be efficient for long meetings and short. The fact that you can schedule a zoom meeting and send a link for as many people to join Is very important when you work for a company that hosts meetings every day. Zoom has gotten the job done to host meetings for years now.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I would say I dislike about zoom is just that sometimes when you schedule a meeting and change the meeting time it doesn't update the link even if you refresh and send the new link. So sometimes you just have to cancel the whole meeting and create a new one which can be confusing if there's so many people involved and emails to send the link to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The only problem I would say is that it's not easy to change the time of a zoom meeting and refresh to send a new link. You would have to cancel the whole meeting and create a new one to keep the confusion. But the benefits definitely overtake the issues because zoom is the reason our company is able to host meetings every day without issues in lagging and miscommunication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say it's simple to use so that's good and just have good internet connection to prevent lagging

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easy to use for employers and external parties alike, much easier than many other software tools I've tried. The purpose of having such software is to make calls and meetings as simple as when all parties are in the same building and can walk into a room. Zoom does this, and has many awesome add-ons too (go, Fathom!).
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom recordings could be better; we cannot edit anything afterward. Fathom is an excellent app I highly recommend (I don't work for Fathom, I just love the software).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are now almost entirely remote in the US, Zoom allows us to meet consistently to continue delivering value to our customers. Additional tools like clips, notes, and whiteboard allow us to keep information in a single location.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sign up for Fathom to record sessions - it's insanely easy to record sessions BUT also add customizable highlights, action items, etc. to easily find important moments for later use.
One tool, many uses
What do you like best about the product?
It's hard to say what I like best as I love so much about Zoom. It's amazing to me that I can help someone troubleshoot who is thousands of miles away from me. I love that I can have a face-to-face meeting with someone in an instant, whether I'm on my desktop, laptop, or smartphone. Being able to read someone's face as you are speaking to them is so much more helpful than having a discussion over the phone. I use the screen sharing feature to show clients and students something on my end and also to look at something on their end, also using the remote control aspect to help them further. I've also used Zoom for screen recording, and while it's not my go-to for quick videos for my clients, it does create a more polished video when used correctly.
Another thing I used Zoom for is office hours for clients, with a link set up on my website for them to join a Zoom during designated hours. I simply log on and when someone arrives they are put into a waiting room until I can let them in. This has been a very valuable addition to my business.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think this is a dislike of Zoom as I believe it is just user error, but when I am on a Zoom with multiple people and the host doesn't mute those who are not speaking, it is very distracting, especially when they are recording it and the view changes to whoever is inadvertently making noise. Maybe Zoom can work on some type of notification for hosts to remind them, or tell them how to mute all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to increase productivity by not having to meet with people in person to show them something online or to teach a lesson. When a client is having an issue I can solve it quickly by getting them to jump on a quick Zoom call and giving me control of their screen. It has definitely been a boon to my business by offering office hours where clients can easily jump on a call with me. As I noted above, it really is the next best thing to being in-person with someone when you can see their face and read expressions.
A No-Brainer for All Regular Zoom Users
What do you like best about the product?
The Zoom Scheduler is a simple add-on that provides another easy way to schedule or start Zoom meetings. For those using Chrome and Zoom regularly, having the extension/plug in readily available is a huge convenience. Starting or scheduling a Zoom meeting only takes 3 clicks, and you're ready to roll. Setting it up only requires you to add the extension, then log in using your Zoom credentials. From there, it's ready to roll. There really aren't a lot of downsides to speak of.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't a dislike as much as a limitation with a browser extension, but the Zoom Scheduler doesn't allow many options for meetings when needed. When you click to start a meeting, your only options are with or without video on. It starts a regular meeting and doesn't allow you the option to start a personal room meeting or other options. It would also be nice if the links to "schedule a meeting" took you to the Zoom app rather than just the website - where it feels a bit more tedious to set up the meeting details.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom scheduler allows you a quick way to start a meeting without having to log into the zoom app, or go to the website. If you have Chrome open all day like I do, you always have a quick way to start or schedule a meeting. It's super useful in instances where opening the Zoom app or Outlook would be cumbersome, but you want to start a meeting quickly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom Scheduler is a no-brainer if you're using Zoom and Chrome like many do. It doesn't take up many resources and stays out of the way until you need it. Stop thinking about it, and just add it!

I like several features in zoom. But if you are asking the best one, I like most the host-based sharing features. It prevents unauthorized screen sharing. Only host/admin can decide who will share the screen.

Zoom is so easy to use. No learning curve.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can only use the purchased version with ONE email address. I'm a sales & marketing consultant, so I have several clients who require me to use THEIR email domain when I am sending out video conferencing invites. Yet, the Zoom subscription attaches itself to only ONE email address. This is dead wrong. It's NOT the email address that is subscribing to Zoom, it's the PERSON (me) subscribing to Zoom. The fact that I have several email addresses is irrelevent. I am the person paying for the subscription, therefore, I should be allowed to use it with however many email address I want. None of these email addresses I use for my clients pay for the Zoom subscription, I pay that subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Communication is better with video -- clear video -- video that does not drop.

The State of Minnesota Court System uses Zoom very successfully. I tried Zoom because of that, and was completely amazed at how easy it was to use and how intuitive its design and layout is.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful feature in Zoom is seeing and communicating with coworkers and customers in real-time. At the drop of a hat, we can hop on zoom and discuss business meetings, customer conversations and schedule times well in advance. I'd recommend Zoom for other business and coworkers in any industry.
I' also like that there are API connections to platforms like Slack and Goole Suite. This allows to start up a zoom with colleagues in real time via a messaging app, or also link our G suite calendars to zoom to create meetings right out of the G suite calendar rather than the Zoom application.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the platform will have issues with scheduling specific calendar/meeting links respective to the owner of who I am scheduling a meeting for. This can cause some disconnect for prospects attempting to join a demo, or for our team attempting to connect via a waiting room.
The other issue I have had is with Zoom marketplace, in which a Zoom API to Google Calendar will fail to create a meeting link for prospects. Even when including a check box of "allowing permissions", we still have not been able to find a workaround to populate the native owner's zoom link onto a calendar invite.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of remote work, which inherently does not allow for face to face communication. I am more productive knowing that I have siloed productivity hours and can meet on scheduled zooms rather than speaking whenever in person. The benefits I've realized are increased productivity and streamlined communication efforts.
We also solve the problem of locational/time zone differences within the organization. Whereas we used to be unable sync in real time with remote employees we can now exercise the ability to sync up via a quick meeting populated through Slack, email, etc. Zoom links being dynamic also ensures that customers can join our meetings from any number of sources, namely a link via email, google invite, etc.

I'd recommend doing a full deep dive on your organizations tools and how they sync via API with Zoom. We have had some issues populating links but other than that it has been very helpful.
Best for online meetings
What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to securely arrange a meetings, webinars and many more for our clients or customers. One of the best thing of this application is it available at free and paid subscriptions both. So if we want to use it for personal use then we don't have to pay charges.

This is absolutely quite helpful application but at zoom the video quality is not very good as it should. Also there are some bugs which makes system slows some time after opening this application.

During this pendamic zoom application has a significant role in non-stop work culture and work from home system. With zoom we are able to do remote work from our home and everything can be discussed with our employees and boss in zoom call. It has many features like screen sharing, voting, creating room for different different groups of people.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy and practical it is to use this software to be able to hold conferences or use it as an office. It has good availability of sound and video even if the network is low.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is that sometimes when I open a conference call on my cell phone and a call comes in, nothing is heard. It has also happened to me that people invited to the conference cannot join even if they have the correct credentials.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me a lot to participate in interviews without any difficulty and already within work to be able to meet with the people with whom I work. It works perfectly on any device you have used.

If you need to make video calls for any nature, I recommend that you use this software so that you can have a good experience in addition to being easy to use.
