Simple and Easy to use but the quality suffers
What do you like best about the product?
I love doing one-on-one training sessions with vendors via Zoom for screen sharing and product demos. Zoom is very simple and easy for guests to use. It is very familiar to many users. I love the gallery view, so you can easily see all speakers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video encoding quality is not very high for video or for large audiences. I would recommend a live-streaming platform for large webinars with multiple cameras. This is a great tool if you are just broadcasting your screen to a few people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Zoom weekly to interact with vendors who demo software and other products via remote screen sharing. I have used it for hybrid and virtual events through screen sharing, video playback and recording group meetings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for software to do screen sharing demos to remote people this is the industry standard. If you wanted to broadcast multiple cameras I would look at a different service. It is very easy for viewers to connect and use which is great. You can also connect via phone for audio which is nice.

So much better than Teams
What do you like best about the product?
Meetings are generated with an easy way for anyone to connect in- luddites who want to call in, all the way to conference room setups. It's seriously one click for most people to join, or one click and an "allow." I can have scheduled recurring meetings, I can meet on demand, and I can easily send meeting invites to internal and external users.
What do you dislike about the product?
During a meeting, the on-screen controls are sometimes hard to locate. Especially when using a bargain bin keyboard/trackpad combo on a conference room screen. I wish it were easier to use Zoom as a conference call host - or that they differentiated a "No camera" meeting somehow in the invite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to allow people to stay on our team who needed to move for family reasons. Without reliable video/conferencing, they wouldn't have been able to stay on the team. With Zoom they can continue contributing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Zoom allows you to pay for what you need - we have a mix of pro and free accounts, and are able to get everything we need done that way. It's hard to imagine a more professional yet cost effective way to videoconference both internally and externally.

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes having conference calls and screen share sessions super easy for both me and my clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally there's a bit of an audio delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides an easy way to interface with my clients remotely. It's also much easier to initiate screen share sessions.

What do you like best about the product?
Nice UI! Very convenient to set up the meetings and record them without any hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
UI design can be improved better, this might attract more users to use this application over other applications available in the market.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the zoom application as our daily meeting tool for our standup meetings, sprint related discussions. it's very smooth and flexibility to add more invites if they are initially missed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's great software for scheduling meetings. The open-source version is available, where the user can set up meetings up to 30 minutes.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that we can use this tool for our all-staff conference calls or externally for coalition calls or video conferences as well as webinars. It's versatile and easy to set up, considering I am not very tech savvy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have much to dislike about this tool as I may not know all the functions it has to offer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to let the members of our organization learn about some of the legal and policy work we are doing as well as be leaders in coalitions by providing webinars and conference call lines. This allows us to create more educational forums that are accessible for all!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Any way possible to make the phone numbers shorter or at least the pin? It's hard to use when calling from away on your cell phone. Or is there an easier way to make the pin copy and paste or clickable?

What do you like best about the product?
Makes hosting virtual meetings so easy. You can do webinars, coaching calls and so much more! When running group personal training classes doing a screen share of workout is very eays to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the standard meeting time should be 60 minutes not the 40 that it is. Also the extra security they needed to add during covid was not very user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One on one coaching is more personal when you can see someone's face. It makes conversation seamless. It also allows me to work from anywhere if I have a digital meeting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is no reason not to use zoom. Most of the features you do not have to pay for. You can record your meeting too so you can go over notes or anything missed at a later date. If you need to screen share it is so easy and simple to do!

What do you dislike about the product?
- Give everything that is needed for a decent call experience. Cant thinkof any disadvantage or cons for using zoom.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for conf calls to share documents and screen. The first impact is the clarity of voice, which is way better than WebEx. Sharing screen and sharing documents are another benefits.

What do you like best about the product?
Love this tool for my community development work and having great discussions with groups of people. Also, enjoy using the breakout room feature to get smaller groups of people to interact with each other.

Sometimes when I update it changed the setting I had and I have to go back and revise.

Having an easy online chat room for people from all over the world to share their thoughts and experiences.

use the break out rooms also if you can for group discussions on a topic

I do not have dislikes with this software. Five-stars. It was extremely helpful for conducting meetings.
