Love the accessibility
What do you like best about the product?
Great way to communicate with colleagues. I particularly like that I have access to my work phone when out of the office. I can control whether or not I want it to ring and if I want to pick it up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Takes a lot of bandwidth from my network connection. Occasionally my computer gets glitchy because of bandwidth but I think that is an issue with my desktop
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The team is spread out at times and this allows us to communicate with each other and with outside stakeholders. Face to face is a way better way to do that than over the phone
Zoom brings Collaboration to Virtual Space
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is easier to install than other video conferencing options. It is also very quick and easy to launch. Finally, updates are easily installed without interrupting usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
People running zoom meetings often do not exercise adequate control over the meeting and attendees. This may be more user-related, rather than the platform itself. Zoom admin. training should be more readily available for users hosting meetings. Maybe, include helpful tips to remind admins. of things they can do to help a meeting run smoothly during the meeting itself, or when launching the client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is a great way for our center to regularly touch base and see where everyone is with their work. We are able to share screen for different team members to give presentations during the same meeting. We can also view a central task list for strong collaboration. Finally, Zoom's share screen helps facilitate distance troubleshooting and minor trainings.
Update: Zoom is still my go to

I like how the updates keep it modern and is still easy to implement. It is very convenient to use

my children being able to school from home and also video chat with my family during the quarantine

Zoom is easy to use as long as you understand smartphones or downloading programs onto computers

Zoom is now a common household name and everyone knows how to use it. It is versatile for work, school, friends etc.

The price is a little bit on the expensive side for a small Canadian business

What do you like best about the product?
Zoom has quality image and audio. It is very easy to use and allows for virtual backgrounds. It offers a variety of meeting settings. I can share screens on the same network which makes my life easier
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the way video calls are displayed when there are too many people present for the call. When you have a less than perfect connection you pretty much lose sound and it is hard to get it back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom allows me to hold a meeting anywhere with anybody at pretty much any time. I can sit in my car at a fast food restaurant parking lot and hold a meeting with 10 people without leaving my car. It saves time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its a remarkable product and easy on the pocketbook. I suggest purchasing it.
An Essential for Today's Business
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Zoom is that they truly listen to their users and work to optimize their platform to address user needs. We've been using Zoom for over a year now and it was a great tool for communication and collaboration even before the remote working situation. With remote working we quickly brought all uses up to speed and it has been an essential tool in many aspects of our business, from internal meetings to external events and webinars.
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom is growing so rapidly sometimes CSAs don't often have the answer or worse, the correct answer. The knowledgebase, while great, often trails behind the most accurate information. We've also received conflicting advice from some of their support staff. I think this is all related to growing pains and once they're able to slow down it will be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mechanisms by which we can more effectively communicate and collaborate both with internal and external audiences. We have much better communication and collaboration as a direct result of the Zoom platform in both arenas.
Zoom has been an amazing tool through COVID-19
What do you like best about the product?
My business would have completely shut down if it wasn't for Zoom during COVID-19. The tech works great for connecting with clients. I have had very few problems with the software during meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would have been nice to have a "pay by call" option, rather than the monthly/yearly options. The virtual background screens are fun, but still a bit glitchy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being unable to meet with clients would have ended my productivity. However, I have been able to continue meeting clients, showing materials, etc, all without issues thanks to Zoom.
Zoom Yoga!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how for a small monthly fee I can host up to 100 participants at a time. This is affordable for a small, single-employee business like my own. I like how easy it is to save and share recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of my favorite things about zoom is the record feature, however, I wish there was an option to just record the host the entire time. As a yoga instructor, I want to be able to view all the participants in the zoom meeting while teaching, but they only want to see the instructor (myself). I wish there was an option to choose to record only the host and not Just what is showing On the hosts screen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to Covid restrictions, yoga studios are still closed in NY. Zoom has allowed me a way to keep in touch with my clients and still offer them classes. I am doing this complimentary now but plan to charge once I become more comfortable with this form of teaching.
Zoom is for Business, not for personal conversations
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom is still a good product for business meetings. I like the ability to "touch up" my appearance, and use backgrounds.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that personal conversations between just two people are now limited to 40 minutes before you are required to have a paid account. Surely with all the business Zoom has, they can afford to host some private one on one meetings without charge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I continue to use Zoom for business. It is an excellent tool for remote workers.

It's a solid product for business meetings.
Helpful for meetings with clients, coworkers and even webinars!
What do you like best about the product?
I like Zoom because it is easy to use and easy to access. All you have to do is click a link! Plus, it's easy to use for webinars with smaller groups. You can create polls and have everyone come in on mute and without video. The screensharing option is also very helpful for presentations and trainings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish at times there were a way to completely disable the option for people to be on video and/or off mute. It could be that there isn't due to the level we're on. But it would be helpful at times because people often go off mute without realizing it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've used Zoom to stay in contact with our coworkers and supervisors during the pandemic. We've also used it to hold a webinar for prospective clients. It has been very helpful to keep communication channels over.
