A good platform for online seminars and online classes also.
What do you like best about the product?
At the time of covid-19 this app was very useful because we were using zoom for online classes and assignments. This app is also useful for seminars. So I like it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes this app lags because of network issue and to operate this app we require basic things that should be taken care of. We have to be trained to disable all the admin features for the users so that user can only see the screen and could not do any unnecessary things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Zoom is very helpful for online meetings and also very useful for online classes and assignments. In the time of covid-19 it was solving one of the biggest problems like attending the classes, seminars, interviews, and many more things. Since I'm a recent graduate, so it is very helpful for me to give interviews online. So it is benefiting me in many ways.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
people should go via this app for online classes and seminars also and many more video conferencing
Stay connected!
What do you like best about the product?
Zoom makes it so easy to have face to face conversations from the comfort of home.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some clients don’t use zoom and I’m always disappointed when we have to use an alternative.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems other than lack of utilization by clients. Video and sound quality are far superior with zoom as compared to alternatives.
Versatile and Easy to Use, but Know What You Need Before Using!
What do you like best about the product?
I have used Zoom for two different fields, and obviously, given the current socio-economic climate we are in now with COVID-19, it's easy to see why. It is so easy for just about anyone to pick up and use for video conferencing and calls that require more than 1-4 people attending a meeting/call. The interface and main lobby are easy to navigate and use. I really can't complain about how simple it is, and yet also how easy it is for fields, again speaking for myself, that are as different as a real estate nonprofit versus independent, local theatre arts organizations.
I also very much enjoy how personable Zoom is as an app, and how easy it is to upload different profile pictures/background motifs, etc. I think a lot of this goes a long way to making meetings and virtual gatherings that aren't specifically CLASSES personable and comfortable for other users.

What do you dislike about the product?
While it IS easy to pick up and use, I still have questions regarding security. I am not a primary user of Zoom in my workplace, so I can't speak to the security upgrades, if any, that have been implemented since the massive uptick in using the software since the COVID-19 pandemic really hit full swing. While I do know that meetings can be password protected and that does offer a degree of security, I'm not entirely certain how much more secure meetings are beyond that.
Tracking attendees from registration to actual attendance is more limited, as are sharing of files/documents. It is more designed for meetings and calls, rather than being a virtual classroom and/or learning space. It's not quite as in-depth in terms of time tracking for attendees and usage as my department's specific needs are, and therefore we use GoTo's suite for virtual classes and trainings.
All that is to say that's not necessarily a DISLIKE, but it's more of knowing what you are looking for and needing before deciding on the product itself.
Additionally, we use Zoom as an organization, and I've found it confusing to discern whether or not Meetings or Webinars are what we need for our virtual classes. Additionally, administration of the accounts we use is also at times unclear with regard to best practices.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have seen Zoom used in several ways over the past view months: formal interdepartmental meetings, artistic organization staff and company gatherings, social/activism-related meetings and talkbacks, so for me the versatility is really the strong suit here. Both the free and paid versions have served all of these meeting needs very, very adequately. I've yet to experience any drops or connection issues, and even though I still have security concerns (ex. "Zoom-bombing"), I have not experienced any firsthand, and so speaking from my own experiences, I assume that that issue has at least been partially addressed.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would put together at least a small or simple checklist of the "must-haves" that your video-conferencing software needs. It may or may not be something that only one application can fully resolve. At my place of employment, we use a combination of Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and GoToTraining/GoToMeeting to fulfill our meeting and video conferencing needs because we have several areas where specific software programs are more appropriate than others.
Great tool for video meetings
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use! The integration with my calendar makes it so easy to schedule any meeting, and I use it at least twice a day, if not more.
Setting up the account took no time at all; it's been very easily implemented by our entire team.
I can send a Zoom link to people who don't have an account and they can still join the meeting. The recording feature has made it very easy to review my meetings, ensuring I don't miss anything.

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything to dislike. So far, I haven't had any issues and it's been a helpful tool for our whole team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a full remote team and with Zoom, we've been able to have our daily staff meeting without missing a beat. It's also been great for client reviews and meetings. I love that I can record them and go back to watch, catching any notes or references I need.
Zoom - the good and the bad
What do you like best about the product?
It has been a life savior to substitute for in-person meetings
Still love it even though we can meet in person
Still love it even though we can meet in person
What do you dislike about the product?
Non-existent customer service. I have asked through various means to get Live Transcript or any other Captioning which comes automatically and have seen on other Zoom webinars and meetings. No personal response - only referral to frequently asked questions and answers which does not address the issue for people who have hearing impairments.
Live Transcript should be automatic without having people program it before scheduling. It not only serves the hard of hearing community but often, the sound quality of some folks is inferior and helps everyone understand what is being said.

As the administrator of the meeting I can control everything, such as mute and unmute whoever I want, ask the participants to turn on the video, there is an option to raise your hand if you wanna talk, so not everyone talks at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functions like backgrounds are not available for all kinds of devices.

What I like the best is conference call feature. when we use this feature on whatsapp or Skype it not worked very well as compared to zomm
What do you dislike about the product?
zoom has to expand his free session time to 2 hours minimum. if Internet speed is not good zoom will go on sleep
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can finish my office work from home . I can coordinate with my colleagues. I chat with my buddies while sitting in home safely and biggest plus point it helps me to attend my classes.

This benefits the user by facilitating remote work, improving productivity, enhancing collaboration, being cost-effective, increasing accessibility, easy scheduling, and providing greater flexibility.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Best for online classes, meeting, group study, discussion with best quality picture and sound and available in android and windows also.
Nice platform but needs some improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like the facilities provided by zoom, which allows us to have conference meetings and online webinars. Zoom has changed the way of meetings to take place enhancing the development towards digital world. With the help of Zoom, we can easily connect with our clients in real-time and improve user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not too fond of some things about zoom cloud meetings. Some of them include the limited time of 40 minutes to finish one session, and sometimes zoom lags a lot. Zoom is also somewhat costly to purchase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Due to the Covid19 pandemic, I could not go to my office to perform my daily wor, but zoom made the work from home possible. I can easily interact with the clients and have meetings with my seniors. I have realized that there is no need to book expensive hotels and conference houses for meetings and group meetups as they can be quickly done with the help of Zoom.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want to buy zoom software to host your meetings online, then you should go for it if some of its limitations don't matter that much.
Helped so much, but could be better!
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the students being able to raise their hands, using instant polling, being able to mute on entry, having chat control, having the ability to change hosts, or assign a co-host.
What do you dislike about the product?
That when I have all students I can't have all videos on or the audio is "glitchy". So we had to spend most of our last three months of school with our video off. I would like better audio and video capability if I were to continue using Zoom in the fall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of not being able to teach in the classroom. I found the whiteboard and screen sharing very beneficial. Using Zoom in conjunction with GoGuardian allowed me to look at my student's screens and help them by using the text tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Play around with the controls first to see what options you have and want before starting your meeting for the first time. Make sure when you are talking your microphone is green and not red (muted) it sounds simple, but you would be surprised how many times people, including myself, forget they are muted.
