Email Deliverability and Domain `monitoring
What do you like best about the product?
I love SendGrid because it’s so easy to use. I can integrate it with my applications, create templates for mailing campaigns, and send my emails with confidence. The platform is reliable and straightforward to use, and I recommend it to anyone looking for an easy way to send their emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
Installation of the software was more complex than we expected — especially when it came to getting the system up and running. We contacted the support team several times for help, but only after a few days were we able to get the program running with all stacks we wanted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Twilio SendGrid Email API to send emails on behalf of my client. This enables me to send up to thousands of emails daily from the entire bunch of domains and users from their own IPs. The performance of the Sendgrid servers has been very good, and I have not encountered any issues in performing this task.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We are delighted to recommend SendGrid to any organization searching for an excellent API integrated email marketing or email campaign platform. With SendGrid, all you have to do is simply integrate it with your website and then wait for your email campaigns to begin.

SG is very easy to send and track the email delivery of the users to identify the delivery logs.

Great application for sending mails
What do you like best about the product?
The best I like about SendGrid is that I can integrate SendGrid with my applications and create my templates for sending mails. It is very reliable and straightforward to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sendgrid is easy to use, but we have to provide authentication for any emails when sending emails from that email. Also, It is not entirely free, and you can send only a limited number of emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of SendGrid, It is straightforward to send emails from my application itself. It makes the functionality of the application much better, and it seems much more reliable. I can also use it as an email authentication while logging into my application which is very helpful.
Email software that works best
What do you like best about the product?
To use in several of my websites, I wanted an email API. It's what I use for transactional emails as well as for our email marketing business. All of the features were created by us, and the Twilio SendGrid Email API is compatible with it. It's simple to set up and maintain, and there's plenty of documentation to get started with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The installation of this software was quite complex and time-consuming. We had to contact the support service several times before we were able to get the system up and running.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed some sort of good software for an email campaign, and SendGrid came through for us. With the help of SendGrid, we are able to run various marketing campaigns, and it is also a very organised software to utilise.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would strongly recommend Sendgrid to any organisation searching for good email marketing or email campaign software. After you've integrated the programme, all you have to do now is sit back and wait for your email campaigns to begin.
Good features but expensive for basic usage
What do you like best about the product?
1. Reliability - Its uptime is pretty excellent and gives me the confidence to send bulk emails without any fear at anytime.
2. Templates - It comes with a sound library of templates that I customize with my data and save for future usage.
3. Analytics - Its monitoring dashboard helps me understand my customer experiences, and I can pull in this data externally for further analysis.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. High Price - It has been heavily rising its prices, which I find difficult to comprehend. I might choose other alternatives since my use-cases are not as complex.
2. Long Support Wait Times - Even for an upgraded package, the support is not real-time and you have to wait till a long time to get in contact with a real-person.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use SendGrid APIs in our platform for all end-user communications via SMS. Since we operate at scale with complex developer requirements, we chose SendGrid over other vendors. It's reliability and heavy customer-focused features are the primary reasons for my overall positive review. However, the pricing model is pretty expensive and wouldn't recommend for others who might not need all the advanced features.
Some good, some bad
What do you like best about the product?
SendGrid is very customizable and has a variety of features we use routinely, including custom unsubscribe links to help us keep our mail list sectors integrated with another database. Another handy feature is the ability to custom-design each section of your mailings through HTML coding. This allows you to place and set everything exactly as you want it, no relying on preset content cubes that you cannot fully customize. There is a nice little error signal when the code is incorrect beside each line with errors so you can easily identify where the error may be. Useful: HTML codes auto-populate the second half of whatever you're inserting, i.e. when you type it auto-inserts .
What do you dislike about the product?
However, HTML coding can be difficult and tricky. As mentioned, it auto-populates the ending tag for HTML, so sometimes it puts it where you don't want it, and you must remember to go back and move or delete it. Sometimes it misinterprets things in URL links, particularly the &, and flags it as an error even though there is not one. I'm not super advanced in HTML, so sometimes it's a LOT of trial and error to get something to display correctly. There might be pre-designed building blocks for general/common email sections, but I have never seen them. So if you're not an advanced HTML designer, this can be tricky to use. We have a graphic designer who sets up our new templates, then I typically just copy and paste an old campaign and update the links as necessary, but it still can be a LOT of work. It's mostly user error and lack of training on my end, but still frustrating. And be careful when scheduling--the default is set to schedule for the day AFTER you created/edited the campaign. I had to learn this the hard way when something I scheduled was not delivered as anticipated. That seems counterintuitive to me. Not a major deal, just something to be aware of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned, we use SendGrid to email communications to our members through a variety of mailing lists. We are better able to manage our lists with SendGrid and customize the emails to our exact specifications, so they look really sharp and professional.
The Absolute Pits! Spammers Delight!
What do you like best about the product?
Nothing. They are incessant spammers. I guess if you're a spammer, it's perfect for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
Everything. They are the biggest spammers ever. They'll take any client who promises to spam. Do not bother reporting spam abuse to them. They'll ignore it and send an automated response, then do nothing about it. They are incessant!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Stopping spam.
Sendgrid - The most easiest API for sending emails
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Twilio Sendgrid API is the ease of setup. First, when I created an account with Sendgrid, the steps to integrate your existing email server with Sendgrid Email API is very easy. Very few parameters like the API ID, password and username provided by Sendgrid need to be configured into the existing SMTP server and its done.
Moreover, you can use the Sendgrid API flexible plans with plans as low as 15$.
One more useful feature is the Usage Alert which is sent as an email. So you know, how many emails you have already used up and can accordingly plan the remainder of the month without increasing your monthly bill.

What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the features provided by Sendgrid are useful for detailed analysis and further action. Nothing which I dislike as such.
Only thing which I like to mention was the increase in pricing of plans which happened when Sendgrid merged with Twilio. However, we have absorbed the increasing cost over the time period.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Twilio SendGrid Email API to send emails to a large list of prospective customers on behalf of my client. Generally, I am sending upto 10000 emails on a daily basis, and the performance of Sendgrid servers is quite good.
