Easy to use and a helpful tool
What do you like best about the product?
You can search email addresses to find their history, then find out if your recipients are receiving your mail. If they aren't then you can find out why.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some minor functions are not very easy to find, like manually adding a recipient to the blacklist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping our customers figure out why they aren't receiving our emails. Helping make sure they receive our emails again by removing certain reports. Adding customers the blacklist to ensure they don't receive our emails again.

It's a useful tool. It can help keep you in the loop with how well your emails are being received by your customers.
Twilio is the best + they own SendGrid
What do you like best about the product?
My product team has had a great experience with the Twilio and SendGrid API's. Their support does a great job and always has treated us well. My only regret is not buying stock back when we started using these two companies. We recently went to a multi-year contract with Twilio and got even better pricing then before. For our booking company Afton Shows and for our ticketing company, Afton Tickets, Twilio and SendGrid have been crucial to operations and we are thankful to have found them many years ago!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I have been super happy with everything from support, to pricing, to features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Twilio and SendGrid let us build communications features into our booking and ticketing platforms so we can communicate easily with artists, promoters, venues, event organizers, and our attendees.

My recommendation is to use them.

What do you like best about the product?
The setup of API was pretty straightforward, and the manuals were detailed. We have implemented integration with their API in our product in a few days, and it has been working fine for five years nowadays. We are looking forward to implementing other functions of this API in our software soon

The free plan seems to change more often than it wanted to be, and some features of API are now being deprecated, so we needed to modify our software to reflect these changes
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending emails through the CRM often conflicts with our providers' SMTP servers, so we needed to have an external API to implement proper communication with our customers. The benefits are also detailed reporting about the quality of our sent emails, unsubscribe functions, and detailed reporting

I recommend having a short-term trial before making a long-term contract to see if all your needs are being served
Best Email Service Provider for Wordpress
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to configure sending emails using SendGrid API. Usually, website hostings don't provide an Email Delivery Service, so all the emails are sent from hosting servers which typically end up in the Spam folder or get blocked by vendors like Gmail, Yahoo, AOL etc.
SendGrid helps ensure that those emails don't end up in the Spam folder. And, not to mention, it is way easy to integrate the API (with WordPress).
And, it has a free plan for starting... so, if you are just starting your website, you probably won't even need to purchase any paid plans to get started.

There is absolutely nothing that I would dislike about SendGrid :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use SendGrid for improving Email Deliverability on our Website for emails that are sent through our WordPress Website Hosting. Personally, when I was working as a Freelancer Developer, I implemented SendGrid for each of my clients to make sure that their Website Emails reach inboxes.
SendGrid is easy to use and kind of like Switch ON & Forget type of software, which helps make things easier for Email Delivery.

If you are looking for Email Service Provider for your Website (especially if it's a Wordpress install), then go for SendGrid.
SendGrid API is the best email API I found in years
What do you like best about the product?
I needed an email API to implement in some of my websites. I use it for transactional emails and our email marketing service. We developed all features, and it works well with Twilio SendGrid Email API. It is easy to implement, maintain and the documentation is enough to start.
What do you dislike about the product?
The plan's price is something that one should know before starting to use the service. In the beginning, they were giving more than 10k sends per month. Nowadays, they give 100 sends by day. This amount is enough to begin, but if you need to grow a little bit, you will need to pay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to implement a system for our transactional emails on different websites. Now, I use Twilio SendGrid Email API in all my websites unless someone wants to use another service. For me, their API is easy to use, and once you have developed a function to use it, you can replicate this function if you want to send emails to another website (program) that you are creating. As a developer, I recommend it.

You have to check their price. The Email API works as expected, and the documentation is excellent. However, the cost can be something that you have to take into account.

Nothing. SendGrid has improved over the years.

I need a queuing system for an application. SendGrid's promised based API works well

What do you like best about the product?
That I can count on SendGrid to get important emails sent to our customers and company representatives

I have no complaints, love this service. The price is excellent and the platform easy to use
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use SendGrid to ensure delivery of reservations made on our websites, in the past we found that customers and stores we manage were not receiving notices 100% of the time. Since we started using SendGrid I can sleep better at night knowing we're not losing business
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're having issues with emails not getting sent through your website using traditional methods I would highly recommend giving SendGrid a try. Since using the API on our website deliverability has been 100% and we are no longer worried about losing business or email not getting sent.
Every month, it's the most value I get for the money spent on infrastructure services for my website

Ease of use, transparency, reliability, service are all excellent. Excellent value for the money. If I could grow faster and pay more to Sendgrid for a higher tier, I would gladly do so.

I feared they would lose focus on email when acquired by Twilio, but it hasn't seemed to be the case.

Maintaining a good sender reputation with Sendgrid has been easy with their help.
Great tool for sending out emails and integrating with your own website

I used SendGrid to send out emails and register users on my personal website. It's great for notifying your customers.

The setup and configuration took me some time as I had to install the API library that SendGrid provided for my web application.

What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly easy to set up and API and integrate it into whatever platform, service, or application you're using.

I would like to see more options for email marketing.
