DataDome Delivers Smooth, Effective Bot Protection with an Easy-to-Use Console
What do you like best about the product?
DataDome has proven very effective at detecting and blocking content-scraping bots. Its detection capabilities appear to rely on a mix of static signatures and sophisticated AI models, supported by extensive intelligence sources.
Integration was fairly smooth thanks to a ready-to-use SDK for common technology stacks. The onboarding process was supported by the DataDome team, and their support has been cooperative overall—responding to feedback and maintaining a genuine two-way conversation.
Day-to-day operation is not complicated. The management console is powerful while still being easy to use. It’s also fair to say we didn’t experience any significant latency after adding this additional component, and performance remained smooth.
That said, the price tag is rather steep.

What do you dislike about the product?
I think DataDome strikes a sophisticated balance between low false positives, low latency, and effective detection capabilities. Overall, the technical solution delivers a very good experience.

We were dealing with content scraping, and DataDome helped a lot.
Fire-and-Forget Ease, Excellent Support, and High Performance
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and pretty much “fire and forget.” The support is excellent: the personnel are fast to respond and have strong knowledge of different technologies where DD can be integrated. I also appreciate the high pace of further deployment. high throughput and performance. AI based models working very well

if there is something, than it's the price tag, especially the limited gradations

we are hardly crawled by competitors. Due to our prominence in Switzerland, we are frequently subject to attacks. Datadome is a massive help
Great SPA Compatibility and Seamless Session Persistence
What do you like best about the product?
Their compatibility’s with SPA architectures and the possibility to persist sessions between applications
What do you dislike about the product?
The captcha customization and design has room of improvement since it is fully managed by the services
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Constant bot attacks degraded our services, forcing us to constantly to create custom rooms exhausting our team, and creating friction with our internal customers
Clean Interface and Real-Time Detection Make Threats Easy to Visualize
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate that the interface is clean and makes it easy to visualize threats, so you can understand exactly what’s happening thanks to its real-time detection.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is the high number of CAPTCHA challenges, along with occasional false positives that can end up affecting legitimate users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been a fairly secure solution, successfully protecting our revenue and helping ensure data security.
Effective Bot Protection and Seamless Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate this tool because it has put an end to the bot attacks that were negatively impacting my performance and sales. The integration process is very straightforward, and I am also impressed by how accurately it can differentiate between genuine clients and malicious scripts.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is that immediate technical support is reserved for the more expensive plans. When you factor in the high cost, this creates a considerable barrier to entry.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's an excellent tool for safeguarding sensitive data. Since I started using it, both my inventory protection and account security have become much stronger, as it effectively blocks attacks and ensures my privacy.

What do you like best about the product?
A few years ago were being hit really hard by malicious bots that were slowing down and even crashing our website and ERP system, griding our day to day business to a halt. After evaluating multiple solutions, DataDome stood out due to how quickly they adapt to new threats and their real-time protection. The peace of mind we’ve gained knowing they are constantly monitoring bot traffic has been a huge benefit. I also appreciate that their dashboard gives clear visibility into what’s being blocked and why. Overall, the product has been extremely effective and reliable for us and we remain a customer 4 years on.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main downside is the cost, it’s definitely on the expensive side, especially for smaller teams and businesses but for us it was worth it. While support is helpful and thorough when they respond, the turnaround time can sometimes take a couple of days though you can escalate. Also, the initial setup required developer involvement, as integration wasn’t as plug-and-play for us. Once it’s up and running, it works well, but the onboarding process could be smoother.

DataDome protects us from malicious bot traffic that was previously overwhelming our infrastructure. Before implementing DataDome, we experienced repeated site slowdowns and even downtime caused by automated attacks targeting our website and ERP system. The solution has significantly reduced bot-related disruptions, improved our site performance, and allowed our team to focus on real customer traffic instead of managing constant threats. Knowing the platform is continually updated with the latest threat intelligence gives us confidence that we’re staying ahead of evolving attacks.
Effortless Integration and Top-Notch Security, Minor Dashboard Lag
What do you like best about the product?
It’s incredibly easy to integrate with your infrastructure, you can have it up and running in just a few minutes. Since we started using DataDome, we’ve stopped seeing various attacks on our infrastructure. It’s probably the best solution available right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren’t many issues to mention. The dashboard can occasionally experience some lag, but we’ve observed consistent improvements over time.

It definitely helps with DDoS attacks, but the most important aspect is its effectiveness in mitigating other threats such as credential stuffing and content scraping even when facing massive volumes of requests from thousands of IP addresses.

The solution is essentially "set it and forget it"—it scales beautifully as we expand into new markets and handles our peak gifting periods (holidays, end of financial year) without any issues. DataDome has significantly reduced bot attacks, which in turn has minimized the need for reactive firefighting by our operations team. The implementation process was smooth, and the intuitive dashboards offer clear visibility into traffic patterns and attack types. Additionally, the TAM and support teams are highly responsive and a pleasure to work with, making the overall experience seamless and efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
While DataDome offers strong protection overall, there’s room for improvement in certain areas—particularly the mobile SDKs for Android and iOS, which I found challenging to implement. Enhanced documentation or streamlined integration would greatly improve the developer experience.
