What do you like best about the product?
Standard CAT tool without many issues, pretty helpful helpdesk.
What do you dislike about the product?
Interface is a bit troublesome and counterintuitive sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a good CAT tool online. It certainly beats a few others I've had to deal with.

What do you like best about the product?
As a regular user of Phrase TMS, I've found its intuitive interface to be a significant time-saver, allowing for quick navigation and efficient project management. The collaboration features stand out, fostering seamless interaction among team members which has enhanced the quality of our translations and expedited turnaround times. The automation and workflow capabilities have noticeably reduced manual work, integrating smoothly with our development processes and making localization feel almost effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's occasionally overwhelming to navigate the extensive features and settings without a solid onboarding process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the complexities of managing multilingual content by streamlining the translation process, which has notably reduced our time-to-market for international product releases and enhanced the consistency and quality of our localized content across different languages and markets.

User-friendly CAT tool which is a dream to use

What do you like best about the product?
-Really user-friendly: clear layout and font, TM within easy reach
-Speeds up the translation process considerably as you can leverage previous translations
-Ensures terminology consistency
-Useful keyboard shortcuts
What do you dislike about the product?
-Occasional tendency to crash when working on larger projects
-No longer possible to hided 'Ignored' errors in QA checks
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase TMS enables me to increase my translation output through the use of TM (clearly displayed to the right of the user interface), generating more income.
It also helps me ensure terminolgy is consistent within projects (particularly useful when multiple files need to be translated for the same customer).

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that you can see the preview of the final document on the same window is very helpful, mots of all to check if formatting tags are correctly set
What do you dislike about the product?
When you are in the list of accepted jobs, you don't see at which step the document is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything is on the same window, no need to have a window for the translation, and one for the matches etc.

Clear user interface. Some double tasks, but generally helpful and easy to use.

Some repetition within tasks which could be removed to make validations easier.

Lighter to validate any job than reading it from top to bottom.

Fluidity and ease of use

What do you like best about the product?
It keeps the team in track, it´s also easier to see who is doing what. Also, deadlines are clear to set and all comments are recorded. The number of tasks and activities that can be tracked is also very attractive. Also, the amount of files accepted is huge, which is an excelent plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
The display could be better but that is really just a "design" detail that does not intervene with efectiveness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I believe keeping track of translations and proofreading and editing processes is one of the major perks. It allows me to meet deadlines much better.

What do you like best about the product?
The intuitive and teachable system with different types of memories. You can add several types of machine translations.
The preview option of the document i suseful below on the screen. (Although it is only a BETA-version. When will be this function fully operational?)
What do you dislike about the product?
After the recent refreshing some features have been moved to a more secluded location within the program.

For example:

1) In the QA section the former 'Hide ignored'-button' function is disappeared and now you can see it in the sort/filter menu at the bottom of the drop down menu (which now you can only see that after running the QA process with the 'Run all checks"-button) . The default setup is that the button is always ticked which results that here you see the already checked and ignored items as well which are not useful and creates a very long column unneccessarily. It is very disturbing and make the lectors' work more difficult and uncomfortable. It would be useful to reconsider this step and restore the original button, which was at the main point in the QA section at a clearly visible place.

2) Would be useful the make the ENTER-option possible at the comment-section. Now it is only an arrow which is controllable only by the mouse.

3) At the end of the strings there was a red cross when you did not complete the string. Now - after refreshing - this option is also disappeared. That red cross was more visible and obvious than the no signal (now you can only see the green tick or nothing at the end of the string).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Large files can be translated much faster, making my work easier. Teachable platform, which is also makes my work easier and faster.

I like the online working environment above a software I need to purchase

The changes made to the QA process recently were not publicised and caused some confusion initially

Coordination with other translations regarding glossaries is no longer necessary

Amazing tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy interface, the integration and the number of features. I use it every day. It centralises my translations in one place, stores term bases and translation memories, and grows them with every new translation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the translation memory doesn't fill in properly in a new text. It also happens that the website bugs and a few segments don't get saved, you have to refresh the page and loose the work (no more than 2-3 segments though, so not a massive problem.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me time translating similar documents with the translation memory and using my own term base. It also offers a machine translation to help speed up the process of translation (which could be improved).
So the benefit is I spend twice less time on my translations than usual thanks to the tools Phrase TMS offers.
