Great software
What do you like best about the product?
The visualization of all the languages and the easinness to navigate into. The fact that we can quicly see how many strings we have left to translate by language
What do you dislike about the product?
The new upgrade of UX/UI was hard for me to adapt to it in the beginning but now it's working fine. I think the least thing I like is the fact that we don't have visbility on how many words the translators had done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The visibility of the amount of work we have left to do and the fact that we can easily integrate with other softwares/platforms.
Three- Year Experience with Phrase TMS (formerly Memsource): a Wonderful Journey
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most is segmentation and QA feature. Segmentation makes everything easy for the client, the project manager and the employee working on it. QA ensures the Quality of the task and gives you the easiest way to review and correct the errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Formatting text in segments is only possible using computer, not by mobile, tablets, or iPad devices. I hope you fix this in the near future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't actually remember one problem during my three-year time with Memsource
Phrase TMS review
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase TMS provides one of the most modern and user-friendly CAT interfaces on the market. It is stable and fast and has a very comprehensive REST API making it easy to integrate with our own tools on top of a broad range of out-of-the-box content connectors. The mobile app is a plus for linguists wanting to work on the go. It supports a lot of languages including low-resource languages. AI features such as MTQE, and MT auto-select in Phrase translate make it an advanced player in the AI productivity space.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to other CAT tools on the market such as memoQ or Trados, Phrase TMS lacks when it comes to providing flexibility and ease of use when setting up import filters. It is much more expensive than other CAT tools and has volume variable fees attached to its fair use policy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase TMS has given us a lot of options and flexibility in terms of connectivity which has allowed us to streamline and automate processes. The easy-to-use CAT interface means that it is relatively simple to learn how to use it and has resulted in increased linguist productivity. Being a cloud-based tool with a robust browser application has allowed us to improve real-time collaboration across project managers, translators, reviewers, and client reviewers.
Phrase as a translation tool
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the possibility to create customized Translation Memories in order to economize time and efforts. It's an excellent tool to keep record of previous translations that could help in future ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes the software is slow to process new files and glitches when showing the percentage of content that is already pre-translated from the TMs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I currently work in the banking notes area with various clients that require specific translations and each of them have their preferred terms. Having projects done in Phrase lets me keep track of the translation in order to know how far done it is, as well as it saves a lot of time for our linguists during their translation process.
This improves the productivity and lets us provide the clients with quality translations in a shorter period of time.

A comprehensive yet user friendly platform for Localization agencies
What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about Phrase is the ability to maintain a consistent translation among my entire translation team using features like terms base and translation memory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had some issues once with a certain file that contained HTML elements. It usually does a good job processing HTML but in one instance it omitted certain tags throughout the file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to divide files between translators and maintain quality standards by providing text processing tools and integration with a live termbase and translation memory.
It's so convenient and easy, yet so perfect and comprehensive.
What do you like best about the product?
It is so easy to use that any person new to it can learn it in very short time. I also liked it's payment record keeping and quality check mechanism. In short, it is really great plateform for translator and client both.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not noticed any particular reason to dislike Phrase TMS, but off course, it can be further improved whatever pointed out by translators and clients time by time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping me in streamline my work load, keeping record what I am doing, what I have done, what I have invoiced and what I need to invoiced, projects in process and those which have been completed.
Satisfied with this product
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature that it has is that it can be used online, in any browser. This allows translators to resume their from basically from anywhere and without having to set up new programs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has no search and replace function.
The TBs sometimes are not so well organized or user-friendly.
The analysis of the word count sometimes takes a lot of time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use the integration with Plunet and several times it glitches and won't display the analysis.
However, with Phrase TMS I feel like it is working more efficiently (faster than Memsource).

Excellent CAT tool.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the Phrase CAT tool, it is very easy to use and very efficient. it saves me so much time for my daily tasks. The glossaries are also very easy to use and manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the CAT tool has some diffculties activating itself, which slows down the process and the workflow.
On another note, some Translation engines aren't so good for the automated part.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prase moslly helps me to save time. it allows me to create glossaries and type repetitive words so much faster thanks to the shortcuts in the translation tool.

What do you like best about the product?
Phrase offer easy and practical ways to store and updates translation for my project. Being able to upload hundreds of translations at once from an excel file saves a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new editor has some downsides when working on several keys/languages at once. Beside this I often experience some performance issues when uploading big files.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase strings allows for an easy way to access all the translation of my product and the ability to download them directly is a big plus. The key management system is also very intuitive.
Great product
What do you like best about the product?
There are several things I really like about Phrase: (1) streamlined project management features, (2) the ability to work easily with other translators on projects because the project is in the cloud, and (3) the simplified interface. The development team is also alwasy responsive when there are issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about Phrase is that the functionality is very limited for translators working in Phrase under an agency's license. Some functions like splitting and joining segments is also difficult to use or does not work in the cloud version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase offers a one-stop solution for agencies and translators working on large and small-scale projects. The cloud service allows user to work in an integrated real-time way with each other (with updated termbases etc.). The translation environment is minimal, clean and fast for translators to use.
