Great online CAT tool for freelancers
What do you like best about the product?
Nice user interface, great design and useful options.
What do you dislike about the product?
On one of my older Macbooks it didn't work properly, it was very slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier to work on my projects and get immediate feedback from the clients.
Easy-to-use CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
It is a user-friendly CAT tool. The TM is very useful and I find it easy to find and select previous translations. The QA tool is also great. I use it when I have completed my translations and it picks up anything I might have missed when revising it myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't had any issues with this CAT tool so far. I'm very happy with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It really saves time when translating, especially when there are a lot of repetitions. Moreover, if I'm translating a text from a regular client, I can use the TM to see previous translations and keep the terminology consistent.
Very easy to handle, also for beginners
What do you like best about the product?
I like best that you can easiliy include your Translation Memory. Even for beginners it is very easy to get a quick overwiev on how everything is working.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing i really dislike. But if i need to choose on thing, than it is probably the fact that I can also see the jobs of other users in my list.

I like to translate in segments.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Phrase TMS is that it can be used directly in web browsers while still being fast, reliable and not lagging my machine.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Phrase TMS would have a dark mode since I often work at night.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What frustrates me the most is when companies sometimes send files to be translated on Excel sheets, which makes it very hard to keep track of my own work and the work of my teammates. So Phrase TMS solves that problem with the translation memory and term base features, and since it's online, the progress from the whole team is updated in real-time.
Makes even the longest, most complex translating job easy
What do you like best about the product?
I've worked in editing and translating for many years. I really like how Phrase breaks the project down into easy-to-manage segments. I also appreciate how Phrase finds repetitions so that the translator doesn't waste time and also ensures a more consistent result.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside to using Phrase is that if the translator or editor doesn't have the original or a good preview, it can be difficult to know for sure what role different segments play.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phrase helps me to deliver a more consistent product with finding repetitions. The use of quality control also ensures that minor errors don't slip through the cracks.
Best choice for me
What do you like best about the product?
It is very helpful for my translation job. I can complete the job efficiently. And the TM is really valuable. I can select the previous translation text easily. And there are also too many shortcuts that are convenient for me to type.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until now I am satisfied with most of the functions of Phrase TMS. But there is also a little pity for the running speed of this tool. I think it is a little bit slow when the file is very large or I open several files at the same time. So I hope this can be improved.

There is a quick response to the Phrase TMS problem. When I came across some issues, they can give me a quick solution. And this is very important for my job. Because my job is very urgent sometimes.
User-friendly CAT tool with convenient resources
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite part of Phase is the ease with which terminology can be handled. In addition, comparing old strings from the TM with new appearances is easier than ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
Phase tends to find too many errors in the QA process which are false positives. For instance, it could include better dictionaries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Phase TMS allows me to work anywhere (as opposed to software like Trados, which requires a specific machine every time) and runs smoothly.
Phrase helps speed up the work
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Phrase is the QA check done at the end. This catches mispellings, wrongly transferred numbers, double words and other things that one could easily miss without Phrase and which can spoil all the hard work
What do you dislike about the product?
The most disliked feature is poor segmentation, such as spreading a single sentence over several segments, This actually slows down progress. To be fair, this is usually not a Phrase problem, but is the result of poorly formulated segmentation rules.

It supports a well-structured translation process, thereby enhancing quality and throughput.
Powerful and friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I began working with Memsource years ago; it was my first CAT tool. It was love at first sight because it's friendly, intuitive, and responsive. Also (a detail for many, very important for me) it's very readable, something I cannot say regarding other CAT tools. Through the years, I've kept choosing Memsource when I have the chance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some tools are missing regarding text processing: for example, an option to change capital letters for lower cases. That would save a lot of time when working on an updated TM.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't recognize any "problems". The tool makes my life easier as a whole.
Excellent product
What do you like best about the product?
It is hard to decide what is the greatest advantage of using Phrase (formerly Memsource). For me it's the user-friendliness of the software that comes probably first followed by the unyielding support of the amazing team that stands behind it, as well as their constant strive to improve the product they are offering us.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I can say I dislike or find as problematic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being part of a higher education institution we utilize mostly Phrase's capacity as a translation platform. It allows our students to experience the real world in a translation company, using cutting-edge technology and learning how to work with it.
