Easy-to-use & good support
What do you like best about the product?
Memsource used to be my favorite platform. Now, it is called Phrase and it is still easy to use and the Phrase support is very helpful. I had trouble using it this time but it wasn't even a tech issue. After I tried one simple solution the support agent told me, the trouble was gone. I truly appreciated the prompt support I received from the Phrase support team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. I have used other platforms but Memsource/Phrase is always the easiest to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I just use it for my freelancing translation work.
Phrase making Globalization easy.
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to implement and easy to operate. Quick to learn and has modern feature to support Localization, Internationalization and Globalization requirements. Phrase also has a great customer support that resolves queries.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike Nothing about the Phrase Platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Phrase we have created a self service submitter portal for all the teams that needs Localization for their content. It is easier to setup and very easy for non Localization background person to submit the file for localization.
Intuitive, user-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Phrase Localization Platform is super intuitive and easy to use, and the QA steps are really helpful. Unlike other tools, it speeds me up and improves accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside is sometimes the QA step picks up 'issues' that are not issues at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Speed, having all the jobs in one place, accuracy, portability.
Very efficient tool for freelance translators
What do you like best about the product?
As a freelancer, I enjoy working with Phrase more than Trados. For a start, I don't have to set up projects - I can start working immediately. There are three features of Phrase that I find particularly useful: 1. The 'More Languages' feature, which helps me use other linguists' translations for reference; 2. The 'Context note' feature, where project managers attach screenshots for reference; 3. The ability to apply multiple filters at the same time (unlike Trados).
I also like that the Analysis report shows the net word count, and the character count shows both source and target character counts (unlike Trados, which shows only the target character count). It is also very easy to exclude repetitions from propagation.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the QA step returns too many false positives and there is no option to ignore all with a single click.

Phrase saves me time and effort as a freelance translator

What do you like best about the product?
The best feature for me is the possibility of working in the cloud, which allows me to monitor the development of jobs from different professionals working on the same project, and allows me to introduce changes and solve issues in the spot.
I also love how easy it is to set up a project and create the jobs. The steps are clarly defined and doesn't let for forget anything.
I also like how much information there's available in the help center and that Phrase actally listens to its users and implement changes based on their suggestions, which is great.
Their customer support service is also amazing. I had a doubt and I got a very complete answer and follow-up within 24 hours, which actually solved my issue and gave me great insight on how to move forward from then on.

Some options are not that easy to find, or they're not where I think they would be, but that's only because I'm not that used to using it yet, so it's something to work on my end, really.

It is very easy to setup and it helps companies to Automate their localization project management life cycle.

There is nothing I dislike about Phrase Localization Platform.

The use of several MT options and machine translation accuracy along with QA is helping my organization save cost.

Lack of Context for Translators

Userfriendly and my preferred CAT tool
What do you like best about the product?
First and foremost, the platform is very userfriendly and easy to navigate for both project managers and linguists. It comes with all the necesarry features a professional translator needs in order to perform their work, including TM's, TB's, concordance search, QA, comments, find and replace functionality and much more. It also offers the oportunity to see translations of the same segments that you're working on in more languages, which I find quite usefull to ensure ToV consistency when working on projects with other Nordic languages. I use the platform everyday, and the customer support is also very effective, they usually get back within a few hours, or minutes even.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it seems that not all QA issues are captured when running the QA check. This eventually means it's necessary to run it multiple times until all issues has been registered (and solved), before the project can be set to "complete".

Phrase makes it easy to translate and localize texts, whether it being from scratch or with the use of MT (DeepL).
The best online CatTool I have ever worked on.
What do you like best about the product?
How userfriendly it is. We don't need to think in any other CatTool when using Phrase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I just don't like that sometimes we face some laziness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since it's really userfriendly, the Platform makes our life easy because it gathers all features we look for in CatTools.
It's a convenient localization tool with extensive features
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive. Easy to collaborate and work in team. Cool automatization features. Customer Support. I'm currently working with 20 different languages, there is no tool that can help me work on these projects so quickly and conveniently as Phrase does.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main disadvantage is that sometimes working with large projects is problematic, often the site glitches and half of the translations are not saved, but overall my impressions are positive. Also i would like you to improve filter for segments. Some times you need to find some sort of word, but starting with a capital letter, not small letter. As the result you get all of them. I'll try to explain it to you. For example I would like to replace word "One"(capital letter!!!). If i use a filter on the word "One", I get all kind of that word. Such as "one", "One", or even "someone". Sometimes it's usefull, but sometimes not.

By using your tools, our company saves a lot of time and money.
